  • 01:17 I've always equated the filling of the Holy Spirit, the baptism

  • 19:37 literally done by man, okay?
  • 19:39 And it symbolizes giving ourselves over to God, and--
  • 19:43 Caleb: The dead man's left behind under the water,
  • 19:45 and the new man--
  • 19:46 Israel: Rises up, okay, so, you know, that's--but now you have
  • 19:49 the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • 19:51 Now, when the baptism of the Holy Spirit came upon me, he
  • 19:54 said, "I will fill you with--" Jesus says, "I will fill you
  • 19:56 with fire with--and power, and you shall receive the power of
  • 20:01 the Holy Spirit."
  • 20:03 You know, I equate that to like all of a sudden somebody handing
  • 20:05 me an AK-47.
  • 20:07 It's powerful and--compared to, you know, maybe, if you want to
  • 20:12 use this analogy, a squirt gun.
  • 20:15 Because, you know, the--when I receive the power of the Holy
  • 20:20 Spirit, it just helps me overcome the enemy, even when I
  • 20:24 don't know when to pray.
  • 20:26 I can pray directly to God through the power of his Holy
  • 20:29 Spirit and communicate with the King of kings and Lord of lords.
  • 20:32 There's a verse that I think most Christians overlook.
  • 20:37 "He who prays in an unknown tongue builds himself up and
  • 20:42 edifies himself," edifies himself.
  • 20:45 So we edify ourselves.
  • 20:47 You know, that prayer is to build us up or edify us and
  • 20:50 encourage us in times of difficulty and war.
  • 20:54 And various--the apostle Paul
  • 20:56 says, you know, "You gotta
  • 20:57 realize that I pray in tongues more than all of you put
  • 21:00 together," because he was in so much warfare
  • 21:03 constantly his whole entire life.
  • 21:06 And I think it's very important for all of us, including our
  • 21:09 listeners, to seek--not only seek the baptism of the Holy
  • 21:13 Spirit, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • 21:15 Mike: This is Cadillac Mountain.

  • 21:34 Joshua: So if you're not first, you're last, and if you're not
  • 21:37 on Cadillac Mountain, the rest of the United States is last.
  • 21:40 Mike: That is correct. Caleb: Very cool mountain.
  • 21:41 Joshua: This mountain is really cool.
  • 21:43 It really reminds me of one of my favorite stories in
  • 21:46 the Bible.
  • 21:47 Elijah has a cool story.
  • 21:48 Man, prophets had it rough back then.
  • 21:50 Elijah, you know, he goes out there and has a showdown with
  • 21:53 Jezebel and Ahab, right?
  • 21:55 Who's gonna be the real God?
  • 21:56 He's gonna answer by fire.
  • 21:57 You know how the story ends?
  • 21:59 The real God answers by fire.
  • 22:01 And then--well, then Jezebel, being what she is, doesn't like
  • 22:04 that too much and calls for his head.
  • 22:06 This is the craziest thing to me that people have always said
  • 22:09 that I've heard in my life, and I'm sure for generations people
  • 22:12 have said this: "If God would only answer with a sign, then
  • 22:14 I'd believe in him," right?
  • 22:15 "If he would just answer like this.
  • 22:16 If he'd give me a Corvette, then I would believe in him.
  • 22:18 If he would call down fire from heaven, I'd believe in him."
  • 22:20 But God had just called down fire from heaven in front of the
  • 22:23 entire land, and the second that Elijah hears that Jezebel's
  • 22:27 calling for his head, he runs and hides and says,
  • 22:30 "God, kill me, I'm no better than my fathers."
  • 22:32 But he does.
  • 22:34 He eats it, and he goes on this journey 40 days and nights up
  • 22:36 the same mountain that Moses got the Ten Commandments from.
  • 22:39 It's so crazy how God likes to talk in that mountain, I think.
  • 22:43 So he goes up to the top.
  • 22:45 He's got this conversation with God about how he did everything
  • 22:48 right and Israel did everything wrong and it's not fair, and
  • 22:50 he's kind of throwing a tantrum, you know?
  • 22:51 And he says, "Go out there on the--go on the top of
  • 22:53 the mountain."
  • 22:55 Elijah goes out there, and crazy wind comes, right?
  • 22:59 Whoosh! God wasn't in it, right?
  • 23:02 Earthquake shakes the mountain.
  • 23:04 Elijah's looking, God isn't in it.
  • 23:06 Fire hits the mountain, and God's not in it.
  • 23:08 But in that moment, he kneels down, and he pulls his cloak
  • 23:10 over his eyes, and it says that the Holy Spirit, God, spoke to
  • 23:13 him in a still small voice.
  • 23:14 It's the first time that that phrase is used in the Bible.
  • 23:19 And what's the first thing God thought it was important to tell
  • 23:21 Elijah in this time of his hurting?
  • 23:23 He said, "You are not alone."
  • 23:27 He thought he was alone.
  • 23:28 He says, "You're not alone, there's 7,000 that I've reserved
  • 23:30 that have not turned to Baal, that are focused on me,"
  • 23:34 because that's what Elijah was saying.
  • 23:35 Like, "How am I the only one in Israel?"
  • 23:37 "You're not alone. Get up and go do it.
  • 23:39 Do what I told you to do."
  • 23:41 And I get up in this mountain in front of--the entire world
  • 23:44 behind me, it feels like.
  • 23:46 And you look at this perspective, and it feels like
  • 23:48 there's nothing between you and God.
  • 23:50 But no matter whether you're here, you're in your room at
  • 23:53 home, you're at your job, you're on a stage somewhere in another
  • 23:55 country...I don't know if you do it like this,
  • 23:57 but I think you probably do.
  • 23:58 Caleb: I've never seen him do it like that.
  • 24:00 Joshua: He does some things, I believe that.
  • 24:02 But God is just as close to you in those moments.
  • 24:04 And most of the time, the only thing separating yourself from
  • 24:07 God is yourself.
  • 24:09 Don't we often want to know-- "I can't hear God's voice.
  • 24:10 I can't hear God's voice."
  • 24:12 He's speaking to us in that small voice, and yet we don't
  • 24:14 give permission to stop the world around us for a minute and
  • 24:16 just listen to it.
  • 24:18 Joshua: Zechariah 10:1, "Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the
  • 24:21 latter rain.
  • 24:23 The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them
  • 24:25 showers of rain.
  • 24:26 Grass in the fields for everyone."
  • 24:29 Caleb: That was a fun and exciting day, but the night
  • 24:33 isn't over yet, gentlemen.
  • 24:35 Joshua Aaron: That's right.
  • 24:36 Caleb: Very important scripture, Joel 2:23.
  • 24:38 I just thought it would be time to bring it up.
  • 24:40 He says, "Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in
  • 24:44 the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain
  • 24:46 faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you--
  • 24:50 The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month."
  • 24:54 You know, we're really living in the latter rain.
  • 24:56 The former reign was that Day of Pentecost, Shavuot, that first
  • 24:59 outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
  • 25:01 And that went on for some time, but then there was like this
  • 25:04 dead zone for like 2,000 years.
  • 25:05 And now we're living in that final moment before Yeshua
  • 25:10 returns, and his outpouring of the Holy Spirit, I believe, is
  • 25:13 gonna be greater than the former one.
  • 25:16 Israel: You got a song for us?
  • 25:18 Joshua Aaron: Yeah, I wanna sing this song.
  • 25:19 It's called "The Spirit and the Bride."
  • 25:21 At the end of the book, it says, you know--the book of the
  • 25:24 Revelation of John, "Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus."
  • 25:28 You know, we're talking about, you know, that the stage in the
