  • 08:54 Satan’s dark kingdom is always at odds
  • 08:57 with one another.
  • 08:59 His first generation of fallen angels, AKA the gods,
  • 09:03 were promised a seat to rule.

  • 09:17 Joshua: I heard Athena looks like a dude.
  • 09:19 Caleb: Yes, Josh, but let’s learn
  • 09:21 the story of Satan’s war of the gods mirrored

  • 09:40 Caleb: This isn’t the part of the story

  • 09:46 Out of nothing, out of chaos, supposedly the goddess
  • 09:49 Gaia came forth, existed, and she created the sky,
  • 09:53 the god Uranus, and she marries him,
  • 09:56 which is very perverse.
  • 09:57 She marries him, and they have
  • 09:59 12 children known as the Titans.
  • 10:01 They actually have three Cyclops children
  • 10:03 as well, and the Hecatoncheires,
  • 10:05 these hundred-hand giant things.
  • 10:08 But eventually Uranus, he doesn’t like
  • 10:10 these bizarre giants and children,
  • 10:12 he imprisoned them in the heart of the Earth
  • 10:14 known as Tartarus, which is actually Gaia’s womb.
  • 10:17 It’s really bizarre.
  • 10:18 Joshua: You know, hold on, hold on.
  • 10:21 I think I know this story.
  • 10:22 Caleb: Okay.
  • 10:23 Joshua: Is this where then Gaia asks
  • 10:25 her 12 children to go castrate Uranus,
  • 10:27 and they’re all too scared to do it except for Chronos,
  • 10:30 and he grabs the sickle that she hands them
  • 10:32 and castrates him, and he
  • 10:34 and throws it into the ocean,
  • 10:35 and then a whole race of giants is born.
  • 10:37 Caleb: It’s really disgusting, but that’s
  • 10:38 the same story I’m talking about.
  • 10:40 You see how sick and perverse Satan’s plans
  • 10:43 are in trying to pervert mankind’s knowledge,
  • 10:45 because he takes the sky god,
  • 10:47 which is supposed to be El Elyon, Uranus,
  • 10:50 and he makes this really wicked, perverse, you know,
  • 10:53 domineering faction on the earth,
  • 10:56 and so then he ends up with Chronos, you know,
  • 11:00 leading this group of gods, these titans
  • 11:02 against this new group of gods,
  • 11:04 and that’s the Titanomachy, gods versus gods.
  • 11:07 I believe it’s really kind of his perverse
  • 11:10 perspective on the judgment that occurred
  • 11:13 to the bene elohim and the Nephilim
  • 11:16 after God punishes them, casts them down,
  • 11:19 and imprisons them in Tartarus.
  • 11:22 Joshua: This is another reason why
  • 11:23 I’m completely against castration.
  • 11:25 I will stand by this.
  • 11:27 It’s a bad idea. I don’t like sickles either.
  • 11:32 1 Enoch 9, “And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael,
  • 11:37 and Gabriel looked down from heaven
  • 11:38 and saw much blood being shed upon the earth,

  • 12:15 And the women have borne giants,
  • 12:17 and the whole earth has thereby been filled
  • 12:19 with blood and unrighteousness.'”
  • 12:22 Joshua: I know that the book of Enoch
  • 12:24 is not the gospel, but I guess kind of like
  • 12:28 Greek mythology gives us a hint or an idea,
  • 12:31 the book of Enoch can give us
  • 12:32 an idea of what’s going on during that time
  • 12:34 period, right?
  • 12:35 These bene elohim have sex with human women, right?
  • 12:38 And this perversion creates an outcry
  • 12:41 from the archangels who are calling out to
  • 12:43 God, right?
  • 12:45 Say, “Hey, these fallen bene elohim,
  • 12:47 they need to be judged,” and so he comes up
  • 12:49 with a very specific judgment for them.
  • 12:51 Caleb: That’s crazy.
  • 12:52 That is a crazy story, but back to the Titanomachy,
  • 12:55 because Chronos is ruling as this terrible dictator
  • 12:59 now, and what happens is his father, before he dies,
  • 13:04 Uranus gives him a prophecy that someday his children
  • 13:08 would turn on him because he knew
  • 13:11 that he had just taken his throne,
  • 13:13 so Chronos decides to swallow his children
  • 13:16 at birth.
  • 13:18 I’m sure his wife Rhea doesn’t like
  • 13:20 this: swallow 12 children.
  • 13:21 Well, first it’s actually 11 children,
  • 13:23 but she takes the 12th child, Zeus,
  • 13:25 and hides him on the isle of Crete in a cave.
  • 13:28 He’s raised by nymphs, and when he’s old enough,
  • 13:32 he pretends to be a servant in Chronos’s throne room.
  • 13:36 He brings him a goblet of wine
  • 13:38 that’s poisoned.
  • 13:39 When Chronos drinks that, he throws
  • 13:41 up these Olympian children, which are like,
  • 13:44 you know, Ares and Athena and Hera and all this,
  • 13:48 and now Zeus rallies these Olympians to war
  • 13:51 against the Titans, 12 titans versus 12 Olympians.
  • 13:55 That’s the Titanomachy.
  • 13:56 It’s a ten-year war of the gods.
  • 13:58 Joshua: Story is crazy. Caleb: Messed up.
  • 14:01 Joshua: How do you even come up with that idea?
  • 14:03 Caleb: 1 Enoch 10:9-10 says, “And to Gabriel said the Lord:

  • 14:16 and cause them to go forth: send them one

  • 14:24 So Josh, this account in the book of Enoch

  • 14:28 elohim, these giants go to war against each other.
  • 14:31 They’re fighting, they’re killing
  • 14:32 each other off, but that wasn’t
  • 14:34 the chief judgment that God had doled out
  • 14:36 that he promised to Noah.
  • 14:38 It was going to come with the flood,
  • 14:39 and it was going to be harsh,
  • 14:41 but he also had a special judgment
  • 14:44 that was in store for the bene elohim,
  • 14:47 such as Semjaza, their leader.
  • 14:49 Says in verse 12 to 13, “Bind them fast

  • 14:55 of their judgment and of their consummation,
  • 14:58 till the judgment that is forever

  • 15:02 Joshua: Well, it’s interesting because we do find
  • 15:06 in the book of Revelation, it’s saying that they
  • 15:08 were bound on earth, and that when they’re
  • 15:10 released, this rage that they have
  • 15:12 from being bound, they take revenge on the
  • 15:14 earth, right?
  • 15:15 They go and they find the Nephilim,
  • 15:16 their illegitimate children that they’ve created,
  • 15:18 and they go with war with mankind.
  • 15:20 Caleb: Wipe mankind off the face of the earth.
  • 15:22 Joshua: Woof.
  • 15:24 Just don’t have dirty copulations with demons.
  • 15:31 Caleb: Road trip time, Josh.
  • 15:33 It’s time to head southwest through the Peloponnese
  • 15:35 peninsula to the mythological entrance to the
  • 15:38 underworld itself.
  • 15:40 We’re going to the gateway to Hades
  • 15:42 at the Alepotrypa Cave, AKA the Caves of Diros.
  • 15:50 Joshua: Revelation 9:13-15, “The sixth angel
  • 15:53 trumpeted, and I heard a single voice
  • 15:55 from four horns of the golden altar
  • 15:58 before God.
  • 15:59 It said to the sixth angel, the one holding the trumpet,
  • 16:03 ‘Release the four angels who are bound to the great
  • 16:06 river Euphrates.’
  • 16:07 So the four angels– who had been prepared
  • 16:10 for the hour and day and month and year–
  • 16:12 were released to kill a third of mankind.”
  • 16:17 Oh brother, without any context,
  • 16:19 the Scripture in Revelation can be
  • 16:21 kind of confusing, but you got Peter,
  • 16:24 disciple to Jesus.
  • 16:25 You have Jude, Jesus’s earthly brother,
  • 16:29 both teaching that the bene elohim
  • 16:31 will face punishment for their sins in the end.
  • 16:34 Jude 1:6, “And the angels who did not keep
  • 16:37 their proper domain but left their own abode,
  • 16:40 He has reserved in everlasting chains
  • 16:42 under darkness for the judgment
  • 16:44 of the great day.”
  • 16:45 2 Peter 2:4, “For if God didn’t spare angels
  • 16:48 when they sinned, but cast them down
  • 16:50 to Tartarus, and committed them
  • 16:51 to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment.”
  • 16:56 Caleb: Isn’t it interesting, Josh,
  • 16:57 that Tartarus is mentioned?
  • 17:00 You know, this was the darkest depths of hell.
  • 17:03 Even in Greek mythology it must be a real place,
  • 17:07 and it’s interesting that you find in mythology
  • 17:10 that Zeus imprisons the Titans after
  • 17:14 the conclusion of a ten-year Titanomachy, the war
  • 17:17 of the gods, in this place of Tartarus.
  • 17:20 But in the book of Enoch, this chief
  • 17:23 ringleader of the bene elohim Azazel is imprisoned
  • 17:26 in a place called Dudael, which is like a desert place.
  • 17:31 It’s even lower, more terrible than Tartarus.
  • 17:35 Joshua: So you have a Tartarus,
  • 17:36 and you have a Dudael.
  • 17:38 Caleb: Yes.
  • 17:39 Joshua: And you have tartar sauce
  • 17:41 that tastes like doody.
  • 17:44 1 Enoch 10, “Then said the Most High,
  • 17:47 the Holy and Great One spake to Raphael:
  • 17:50 ‘Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into
  • 17:53 the darkness: and make an opening
  • 17:55 in the desert, which is in Dudael,
  • 17:58 and cast him therein.
  • 17:59 And place upon him rough and jagged rocks,
  • 18:02 and cover him with darkness, and let him abide
  • 18:04 there forever, and cover his face
  • 18:06 that he may not see light.
  • 18:08 And on the day of the great judgment he shall be cast
  • 18:11 into the fire.'”
  • 18:14 Caleb: This is an epic view, little brother.
  • 18:16 Joshua: It’s crazy to think that we are walking
  • 18:18 over the Diros caves, the caves
  • 18:20 that are the gateway to the underworld,
  • 18:23 the river that leads to Tartarus,
  • 18:25 that lowest point where the wicked go forever
  • 18:29 in Greek mythology.
  • 18:31 I think it’s so crazy that Azazel is
  • 18:34 so called out by Enoch when you read
  • 18:36 the book of Enoch for how bad he is
  • 18:38 and how evil he is, and how he’s committed
  • 18:39 all these atrocities.
  • 18:41 In fact, I quote, “And the whole earth
  • 18:43 has been corrupted through the works
  • 18:44 that were taught by Azazel, to him, ascribe all sin.”
  • 18:49 Caleb: I know many people may be up in arms,
  • 18:51 and they say, “Azazel’s apocrypha!
  • 18:53 It’s not in the Bible, it’s not in Scripture!”
  • 18:55 Actually, he is in the Bible.
  • 18:57 It’s very interesting because there are
  • 18:59 many mistranslations in the Bible from Hebrew
  • 19:01 to English.
  • 19:03 If you could read Hebrew, then when you’re reading
  • 19:05 in Leviticus about the High Holy Days,
  • 19:07 the seven feasts of the Lord,
  • 19:09 you read in the great Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur,
  • 19:13 he rears his ugly head.
  • 19:17 Joshua: Leviticus 16:7-8, “He, Aaron, shall
  • 19:20 take the two goats and present them
  • 19:22 before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle
  • 19:25 of meeting.
  • 19:26 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats:
  • 19:29 and one lot for the Lord and the other lot
  • 19:32 for Azazel the scapegoat.”
  • 19:35 Caleb: Isn’t it interesting, Josh,
  • 19:37 that the name Azazel, it’s a given name,
  • 19:41 it is replaced in Scripture when it’s referenced.
  • 19:43 It says “scapegoat.”
  • 19:45 They just invented this name scapegoat
  • 19:47 instead of using that name because it’s prescribed
  • 19:49 to the apocrypha.
  • 19:50 For some reason, they didn’t like that,
  • 19:52 but when you look at the ceremony
  • 19:54 of the scapegoat that occurs in Leviticus,
  • 19:58 you know, the lots were cast,
  • 20:00 and this scapegoat, this Azazel, all the blame
  • 20:05 of the sins of the people of Israel were placed
  • 20:07 upon his head.
  • 20:09 And it’s interesting, Enoch says, “To him,”
  • 20:11 Azazel, “ascribe all sin.”
  • 20:14 So he was taking that sins, yet he was going off scot-free.
  • 20:19 The innocent goat, the Lord’s goat,
  • 20:21 was the one that was sacrificed
  • 20:24 for the sins of the people.
  • 20:25 He was pure and spotless, and most people think
  • 20:27 that Yeshua is the scapegoat.
  • 20:29 No, that goat took all the blame for the sins,
  • 20:33 but he got to go off.
  • 20:34 They end up chasing that goat away
  • 20:36 into the desert place, into Dudael just like Azazel.
  • 20:41 So that whole ceremony is about the Watcher
  • 20:45 of the bene elohim Azazel, where he’s imprisoned
  • 20:48 in Dudael, but that scapegoat
  • 20:50 has been imprisoned in the desert.
  • 20:52 Joshua: It’s crazy.
  • 20:54 There’s so much to this story,
  • 20:55 and this place is a crazy place,
  • 20:56 but the story isn’t over yet because Enoch
  • 20:58 literally has a job to do, and he seems raring to do it.
  • 21:02 He goes out there and he starts calling
  • 21:04 down what he sees, right?
  • 21:06 He blames the Nephilim.
  • 21:08 He actually calls out the bene elohim
  • 21:09 for their sins, those Watchers
  • 21:11 that you’ve been talking about.
  • 21:12 He’s like, “You’ve been having sex with women.
  • 21:15 You’ve been doing this.
  • 21:16 You’ve been doing that,” but they had to.
  • 21:18 Like, it had to be called out so that they could
  • 21:20 be judged, and he was the one that rose
  • 21:22 to the occasion.
  • 21:23 Caleb: That’s right.
  • 21:24 Only God’s prophets could do that.
  • 21:26 Joshua: And somehow he only got, like,
  • 21:27 a verse in the Bible.
  • 21:29 Like, I wanna know what really went
  • 21:30 on with this guy, all the verses.
  • 21:35 Caleb: All right, Josh, it’s time to head back
  • 21:37 to Athens to the ancient Agora,
  • 21:40 the commercial center and gathering place
  • 21:41 for the city.
  • 21:43 It was also the location of many temples
  • 21:45 to the gods.
  • 21:48 Joshua: 1 Enoch 12, “And I Enoch was
  • 21:50 blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages,
  • 21:55 and lo!
  • 21:56 The good Watcher said to me, ‘Enoch, thou
  • 21:58 scribe of righteousness, go, declare
  • 22:00 to the fallen Watchers of heaven
  • 22:02 who have left the high heaven,
  • 22:04 the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves
  • 22:08 with women.
  • 22:09 Ye have wrought great destruction
  • 22:11 on the earth: and ye shall have no peace,
  • 22:14 no forgiveness of sin.'”
  • 22:18 Caleb: You know, Josh, the bene elohim,
  • 22:20 the fallen ones, their story pretty
  • 22:22 much ended there in Scripture,
  • 22:23 and they don’t show up again
  • 22:25 until the book of Revelation toward the end, actually,
  • 22:28 of the Tribulation when they’re unleashed
  • 22:31 from their prison.
  • 22:32 I find it’s the same with the Greek Titans.
  • 22:34 These Titans, they were of the golden
  • 22:36 age of Greece, and then
  • 22:38 when the Olympians conquered them,
  • 22:40 their importance was quickly diminished.
  • 22:41 I mean, I was looking all around here.
  • 22:43 So many temples.
  • 22:45 For the Temple of Chronos and Rhea I heard was
  • 22:48 around here, but it’s so tiny I can’t
  • 22:50 find it anywhere, not like the giant
  • 22:51 Temple of Hephaestus.
  • 22:53 The Titans were forgotten.
  • 22:55 It was all about the Olympians.
  • 22:56 Joshua: Isn’t it possible, I guess, that Chronos
  • 22:58 could have been a representation of Azazel?
  • 23:01 Caleb: Azazel?
  • 23:03 Joshua: Yeah, and Semjaza
  • 23:04 in Enoch’s story, and that maybe
  • 23:06 these bene elohim, right, they come
  • 23:09 with this last ditch effort to Enoch trying
  • 23:12 to get spared from judgment, right, and they’re trying
  • 23:14 to get him to go to Elyon and say, “Hey,
  • 23:16 go on our behalf, get us saved.”
  • 23:20 1 Enoch 13, “And Enoch went and said: ‘Azazel,
  • 23:24 thou shalt have no peace: A severe sentence has gone forth
  • 23:28 against thee to put thee in bonds:
  • 23:30 and thou shalt not have toleration
  • 23:32 nor request granted to thee, because of
  • 23:34 the unrighteousness which thou hast taught,
  • 23:37 and because of all the works of godlessness
  • 23:39 and unrighteousness and sin which thou hast shown
  • 23:41 to men.’
  • 23:43 Then I went and spoke to them and all fallen
  • 23:45 Watchers together, and they were all afraid,
  • 23:48 and fear and trembling seized them.
  • 23:51 And they besought me to draw up a petition
  • 23:53 for them that they might find forgiveness.”
  • 23:58 Caleb: Josh, we don’t know if that passage
  • 24:01 in Enoch was actual history.
  • 24:03 You know, the book of Enoch
  • 24:05 isn’t Scripture.
  • 24:06 It was an oral tradition that was passed down,
  • 24:09 but it wasn’t put pen to paper
  • 24:11 until 3rd century BC, but the themes in there
  • 24:14 are what’s important, you know,
  • 24:15 the ideas of what’s going on.
  • 24:17 And we find those same themes, you know,
  • 24:21 such as Enoch being raptured.
  • 24:22 We know that’s scriptural, and him being a prophet,
  • 24:26 you know, of the end times, declaring those things
  • 24:28 that are going to happen.
  • 24:30 And I just think that, you know.
  • 24:32 It has to be important, Enoch’s legacy,
  • 24:36 otherwise Jude, the brother of Yeshua,
  • 24:38 would not have quoted, you know, word
  • 24:41 for word an actual prophecy of Enoch.
  • 24:45 Joshua: That’s a good point.
  • 24:47 I side with Jude.
  • 24:51 Jude 1:14-15, “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam,
  • 24:55 prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold,
  • 24:58 the Lord comes with ten thousands
  • 25:00 of His saints, to execute judgment
  • 25:03 on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them,
  • 25:07 all their ungodly deeds which they have committed
  • 25:10 in all ungodly way, and all of the harsh
  • 25:12 things which ungodly sinners have spoken
  • 25:14 against Him.'”
  • 25:16 Enoch, this guy, all right, I’ve always loved him,
  • 25:19 but the more we study him, the more my mind is
  • 25:21 blown, right?
  • 25:22 He’s the first person to ever receive
  • 25:24 a prophecy of the Second Coming or Armageddon, right,
  • 25:28 of the saints riding in with Yeshua?
  • 25:30 This guy’s pre-flood, okay?
  • 25:33 His time period in history is so far back, yet he sees this
  • 25:36 because he becomes the one that represents
  • 25:38 that first covenant, that Old Testament time
  • 25:41 period, right?
  • 25:43 What I think is so interesting
  • 25:44 about the fact that he sees this is
  • 25:46 that he was the first one to kind of be
  • 25:47 the hall monitor to report the Watchers,
  • 25:49 like, “Uh, the Watchers are doing something
  • 25:51 they shouldn’t be doing, sir,” and he’s gonna
  • 25:53 come back again.
  • 25:55 We’re going to see in Revelation,
  • 25:56 I think it’s 9:14, that he comes back
  • 25:57 when they rise again, and he’s gonna fight
  • 25:59 head-on, clash with them again.
  • 26:01 Caleb: I think it’s very interesting.
  • 26:04 Not only do I believe that he’s going to clash
  • 26:07 with those bene elohim when they’re unleashed
  • 26:09 from their prison at the River Euphrates, but he
  • 26:12 is going to combat them because he’s one of the two witnesses.
  • 26:14 Joshua: Exactly.
  • 26:15 Caleb: He was taken up to heaven.
  • 26:17 He never died, so he’s going to come back
  • 26:19 down with Elijah the prophet,
  • 26:20 who we know is one of those witnesses,
  • 26:22 and he’s gonna be prophesying judgment
  • 26:24 against the Watchers again when they come with
  • 26:26 that 200 million man army to destroy one third of mankind.
  • 26:30 They aren’t gonna be able to touch those two
  • 26:31 witnesses ’til the end of the tribulation.
  • 26:33 They’re going to be causing havoc everywhere.
  • 26:35 But hey, Enoch is the one, and I believe Hebrews
  • 26:39 9:27-28 declares that.
  • 26:43 Joshua: Hebrews 9:27-28, “And it is appointed
  • 26:48 for men to die once, but after this judgment,
  • 26:52 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many.
  • 26:56 To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will
  • 26:58 appear a second time apart from sin, for salvation.”
  • 27:02 Joshua: The story of judgment isn’t over yet.
  • 27:05 The Watchers may be in prison,
  • 27:06 but their offspring, the Nephilim, they are
  • 27:08 about to face the greatest judgment
  • 27:09 in the history of the world, the flood.
  • 27:12 Caleb: Hey, hey, before we tell that story,
  • 27:14 we gotta go to a location that I believe
  • 27:16 is an important parallel or comparison to that.
  • 27:19 I say we head to the Port of Piraeus
  • 27:21 in Athens and hop a ferry to go to the island of Crete
  • 27:25 and tell the true story of the kingdom
  • 27:28 of Atlantis.
  • 27:29 Joshua: Dude, Atlantis?
  • 27:30 Is this why everybody keeps calling you Aquaman lately?
  • 27:32 “Hey, it’s Jason Momoa.
  • 27:33 Look at him over there teaching the Bible.”
  • 27:35 Caleb: There’s a lot of resemblance here, okay?
  • 27:36 Joshua: “He’s so Momoa-ish.” Okay, I see what’s happening.
  • 27:42 Next week on the “Bearded Bible Brothers.”
  • 27:45 Caleb: Well, here we are in the Knossos on Crete.
  • 27:47 Joshua: The center of Atlantis was actually
  • 27:50 in the island of Santorini, and the islands
  • 27:52 that have broken off around it, there’s a caldera there
  • 27:53 which is an active volcano.
  • 27:55 Caleb: Literally that polluted Nephilim
  • 27:57 bloodline is what helped create
  • 27:59 this advanced technology that you have here.
  • 28:02 Joshua: I was gonna say that. I actually knew that one.
  • 28:03 Caleb: You did not know that. Joshua: I kind of knew it.
  • 28:06 Joshua: Did you know the “Bearded Bible Brothers”
