  • 05:23 Well, sort of, right?
  • 05:24 You maybe got to go a little bit up that way.
  • 05:27 Caleb: Yeah, and you eventually get it because this is

  • 05:40 to the Black Sea, as you know,
  • 05:43 which borders Ukraine and Georgia, you know,
  • 05:46 Crimea, all those different countries.
  • 05:48 But this whole territory is still important
  • 05:51 because according to Daniel’s vision,
  • 05:53 you know, of those four beasts,
  • 05:55 not all of them border the Mediterranean Sea
  • 05:58 but eventually their empire stretched as far
  • 06:00 as reaching the borders of that sea,

  • 06:31 to pronounce them properly: Meshech, Tubal, Gomer,
  • 06:35 Ashkenaz, Togarmah.
  • 06:37 Eventually, these tribes migrated north and west.
  • 06:41 Caleb: But you also find that those key prophetic

  • 06:49 over the territory of Turkey, such as Babylon,
  • 06:53 Medo-Persia, Greece, you know, what would

  • 09:26 This is story time.
  • 09:27 286 AD, very famous date, the Roman Empire split in half:
  • 09:31 eastern and western portions.
  • 09:33 Well, eventually Constantine would
  • 09:35 inherit his western portion from his father,
  • 09:38 but there was always conflict.
  • 09:40 There’s tetrarchies where the empire was split
  • 09:42 into four.
  • 09:44 So there’s all these things going on.
  • 09:45 And so by the time that Constantine
  • 09:46 was emperor of the western half, there was a revolt
  • 09:49 in the eastern half from Maxentius,
  • 09:51 who was causing problems.
  • 09:53 So he was gonna go to battle with him
  • 09:55 in 312 AD, the very famous
  • 09:57 Battle of Milvian Bridge.
  • 09:59 Now, this is where everybody knows
  • 10:00 the very famous story.
  • 10:02 Yeah, that Constantine sees a vision, you know,
  • 10:06 of a fiery cross in the sky.
  • 10:08 In some versions, he hears a voice,
  • 10:11 “In this sign conquer.”
  • 10:13 Very Christian of him.
  • 10:16 Hirchie: But in this dream, he did see this vision,
  • 10:18 and it said that he shall put a cross
  • 10:21 on all of their shields and–as a symbol,
  • 10:24 and they did it and they did win the battle.
  • 10:27 And so from there, he gives the Edict of Milan
  • 10:30 and the treaty.
  • 10:31 He takes over.
  • 10:33 And so it’s a positive-negative.
  • 10:34 I know you think it’s a negative-negative,
  • 10:36 but I’m looking at it with half-glass-full
  • 10:38 kind of thing because he did make
  • 10:40 Christianity legal now.
  • 10:42 So the persecution that they were facing
  • 10:44 is now a little more limited
  • 10:46 from the Roman side, but we know there’s
  • 10:48 a twisting that comes in all that, but there is
  • 10:51 that positive.
  • 10:52 Joshua: I don’t know if you know the–that phrase
  • 10:54 in the story, “But wait, there’s more?”
  • 10:55 That should have been on Constantine’s tomb
  • 10:58 because in 324 he reunites, taking the east and the west,
  • 11:02 joining them together like this and calling
  • 11:04 it Constantinople.
  • 11:06 Coincidentally, on May 11th, 330 AD, he moves
  • 11:09 the capital from Rome, Italy to here.
  • 11:13 And how are you gonna move
  • 11:14 a capital of an empire without commemorating it?
  • 11:18 I give you Constantine’s column, the commemoration
  • 11:21 of such an event.
  • 11:23 And apparently, he chose wisely ’cause it’s
  • 11:24 still here.
  • 11:25 David: So the original column, though, it was placed
  • 11:28 outside of the city walls, but wait till you
  • 11:30 hear this, okay?
  • 11:31 This sort of makes me smile a bit
  • 11:33 because not only was a column enough for him,
  • 11:34 he decided that he would have made a statue of himself,
  • 11:40 Apollo-esque, if you like, fully butt naked,
  • 11:45 in only the clothes he was born in
  • 11:48 right on top overlooking the city, right?
  • 11:51 Now, the big reveal party, it was a–this is crazy.
  • 11:55 It was a mixture of both pagan and Christian ceremonies.
  • 12:00 Joshua: The things this man did, that statue,
  • 12:03 the one sans clothing, it was in honor of Invictus
  • 12:06 or Apollo, like you said, the sun god.
  • 12:08 I guess he fancied himself also a god
  • 12:09 when he took his clothes off and put himself on a statue,
  • 12:13 but that was also supposed to be in connection with
  • 12:16 that vision we said he saw where, you know,
  • 12:19 the cross is on fire in the center of the sun.
  • 12:21 If you haven’t been convinced
  • 12:23 yet that the enemy have gone all in, pushed
  • 12:25 all the chips in on Constantine
  • 12:28 being the beast, I would like to refer
  • 12:31 to what I said earlier: But wait, there’s more.

  • 12:38 eastern and western half.
  • 12:40 By 476, the western half, it is no more.

  • 13:34 Holy field, that’s the one that Constantine
  • 13:35 actually brought here himself
  • 13:37 and placed it there.
  • 13:39 It’s kind of a big deal.
  • 13:40 Hirchie: And you know what it was made out of?
  • 13:41 Caleb: Serpent columns?
  • 13:44 Hirchie: That’s what it is now.
  • 13:45 What it was made out of is Greek
  • 13:47 and Persian shields that he had melted down

  • 15:09 That’s 325 AD.
  • 15:10 Caleb: That’s pretty messed up.
  • 15:11 That’s pretty messed up.
  • 15:13 David: What was going on in his head?
  • 15:14 Caleb: And this was his seat, his throne.
  • 15:16 This was the capital of his kingdom.
  • 15:19 So basically the seat of a beast,
  • 15:21 and he–being the head of a church,
  • 15:24 you know, his title Pontifex Maximus,
  • 15:27 which basically was a title given
  • 15:30 to the Roman emperors as being this Babylonian
  • 15:33 priest, which we’ll learn about next week,
  • 15:35 the high priest of Babylon.
  • 15:37 But then he became Summus Pontifex,
  • 15:40 which was the vicar of Christ.
  • 15:42 He essentially started the Catholic Church,
  • 15:44 if you will.
  • 15:46 And being that, he merged, you know, Christianity
  • 15:48 and ancient Babylonianism to create this first,
  • 15:51 like, esoteric mystery Babylon precursor cult
  • 15:55 that will eventually be mystery Babylon the Great.
  • 15:59 Joshua: Revelation 17:3, “So he carried me away
  • 16:02 in the Spirit into the wilderness.
  • 16:03 And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast
  • 16:06 which was full of names of blasphemy,
  • 16:09 having seven heads and ten horns.”
  • 16:11 Verse 7, “But the angel said to me, ‘Why do you marvel?
  • 16:14 I will tell you the mystery of the woman
  • 16:16 and the beast that carries her, which
  • 16:18 has seven heads and ten horns.
  • 16:20 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend
  • 16:24 out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition.'”
  • 16:27 Joshua: Infamous woman that we’ve been talking
  • 16:28 about, the whore–the great whore, we’ll get
  • 16:31 into her next week.
  • 16:32 We’ll talk about her identity later.
  • 16:34 But the beast that she rides on, that fourth beast
  • 16:36 from Daniel 7’s vision, it’s the same one
  • 16:38 in Revelation 13.
  • 16:40 That chimera, the final Antichrist beast,
  • 16:42 it’s him.
  • 16:44 Caleb: I don’t doubt it.
  • 16:45 Hirchie: So we’re standing in what–they call
  • 16:48 it the Blue Mosque, but it was the Sultan
  • 16:51 Ahmed Mosque, and it was originally built
  • 16:53 in 1609 to, like, 1617.
  • 16:56 So, like, a few years before Dave was born,
  • 16:58 like 2 or 3, I think.
  • 17:00 Caleb: Now, to wrap up Constantine’s story,
  • 17:02 guys, I really believe that Satan thought he
  • 17:05 would be the beast.
  • 17:06 He went all in on him being the Antichrist,
  • 17:08 and Consta–so Constantine ruled right here.
  • 17:10 This was his palace, and one of the first things
  • 17:14 that we see with him is he enacted some very
  • 17:17 Antichrist-style laws to persecute
  • 17:19 the Jewish people in 315 AD.
  • 17:22 It was anti-Jew laws, guys.
  • 17:23 It was to prohibit Jews from spreading their religion.
  • 17:29 You know, it was to keep them from
  • 17:30 observing Sabbath in the ways
  • 17:32 that they’re supposed to.
  • 17:33 It literally changed the Sabbath to Sunday.
  • 17:36 It created instead of Passover, Pesach, the feast of
  • 17:41 Ishtar, Easter.
  • 17:43 I mean, he really thought that this guy was the one,
  • 17:46 but just like every Antichrist in history,
  • 17:49 Constantine wasn’t it.
  • 17:50 He failed.
  • 17:52 He ended up dying and not fulfilling
  • 17:53 Satan’s grand desires.
  • 17:54 So–
  • 17:56 Joshua: Loser.
  • 17:57 Joshua: Revelation 17:9-11, “This calls
  • 18:02 for a mind with wisdom.
  • 18:04 The seven heads [of the beast]
  • 18:05 are seven hills on which the woman sits.
  • 18:08 They are also seven kings.
  • 18:09 Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come;
  • 18:14 but when he does come, he must remain for only a
  • 18:17 little while.
  • 18:18 The beast who once was, and now is not, is
  • 18:20 an eighth king.
  • 18:21 He belongs to the seven and is going
  • 18:23 to his destruction.”
  • 18:25 David: So the beast himself has seven heads.
  • 18:27 It’s a city, a city on seven hills.
  • 18:30 And, of course, most people think,
  • 18:32 “Well, seven hills, that’s Rome.”
  • 18:33 Because Rome is literally on seven hills,
  • 18:36 but Istanbul is also on seven hills.
  • 18:40 Now, the thing is Rome was the epicenter
  • 18:43 of the empire 350 years.
  • 18:46 However, Istanbul, 1,700 years, Caleb.
  • 18:51 Caleb: You got it, man. You got it.
  • 18:52 And those seven heads also represent
  • 18:55 kingdoms–kings, kingdoms.
  • 18:56 Throughout history, those were the kingdoms
  • 18:58 that subjugated Israel, that held Israel
  • 19:01 in their dominion.
  • 19:02 It started with Egypt, then Assyria, then Babylon,
  • 19:05 Medo-Persia, Greece.
  • 19:07 And in John’s day, the sixth head was Rome,
  • 19:11 and then the seventh head would be revived
  • 19:13 Roman Empire, and then it mentions there
  • 19:15 would be an eighth king to come that is not yet.
  • 19:18 That would be the kingdom of the beast.
  • 19:21 That would be his final government.
  • 19:24 David: Wow.
  • 19:26 Caleb: Revelation 17:12-14, “The ten horns
  • 19:29 which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom
  • 19:33 as yet, but they receive authority
  • 19:35 for one hour as kings with the beast.
  • 19:38 These are of one mind, and they will give
  • 19:40 their power and authority to the beast.”
  • 19:44 Hirchie: Yeah, these future bad
  • 19:46 guys haven’t shown up yet, and there’s a lot of debate
  • 19:49 whether they’re actual individuals
  • 19:51 or if they’re countries or kingdoms.
  • 19:54 And it could go either way,
  • 19:55 but I think it does lean into being kingdoms
  • 19:58 that are gonna show up on the scene.
  • 20:00 They’re gonna build this whole platform
  • 20:03 for one guy to come in, the beast, to rule
  • 20:07 and reign over all those different kingdoms,
  • 20:09 are gonna fall for it.
  • 20:11 Joshua: It sounds like it’s time to talk
  • 20:13 about the great whore and her relationship
  • 20:15 with the false prophet.
  • 20:17 I’ve never had to talk about whores so much
  • 20:18 in my entire life with a series.
  • 20:20 Hirchie: It’s a horror of the whores.
  • 20:22 Joshua: I like that.
  • 20:23 I like horror better than whore.
  • 20:25 Too many conjugation weirdnesses.
  • 20:28 Joshua: Revelation 13:11-13, “I saw another beast coming
  • 20:32 up out of the earth.
  • 20:33 He had two horns like a lamb,
  • 20:35 and he spoke like a dragon.
  • 20:37 He exercises all the authority
  • 20:39 of the first beast in his presence.
  • 20:41 He makes the earth and those who dwell in it
  • 20:43 to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound
  • 20:46 was healed.
  • 20:47 He performs great signs, even making fire come
  • 20:50 down out of the sky to the earth
  • 20:52 in the sight of people.”
  • 20:54 Caleb: This is amazing, but back to the story, Josh.
  • 20:57 We have a false prophet.
  • 20:58 He appears like a lamb.
  • 21:00 Jesus came as a Lamb.
  • 21:02 He looks innocent but speaks terrible
  • 21:04 dragon words.
  • 21:05 He’s like the Aaron to the beast Moses.
  • 21:08 Jesus used the authority of the Father,
  • 21:10 but he has been given authority
  • 21:12 by the beast to do signs and wonders,
  • 21:15 even calls down fire from heaven
  • 21:17 and demands the world worship the beast
  • 21:19 after his resurrection.
  • 21:20 Joshua: It’s funny ’cause the second
  • 21:22 beast comes out of the earth,
  • 21:23 and we are under the earth in the famous Basilica Cistern.
  • 21:27 This is the largest of several hundred cisterns
  • 21:29 beneath Istanbul, specifically under
  • 21:31 the ancient Stoa basilica on the first of the seven
  • 21:34 hills of Constantinople.
  • 21:36 You know, it’s believed that Constantine
  • 21:37 originally built this cistern because it supplies water
  • 21:39 to the great palace, but then Emperor
  • 21:41 Justinian enlarged it in the 6th century
  • 21:44 and it’s now credited with its existence.
  • 21:47 Caleb: Well, now remember that first beast
  • 21:49 in Revelation 13:1.
  • 21:51 “Then I stood on the sand of the sea.
  • 21:53 I saw a beast coming up out of the sea,
  • 21:55 having ten horns and seven heads.”
  • 21:58 It’s similar to the four beasts
  • 21:59 Daniel saw come out of the sea.
  • 22:01 This is important because in Revelation 17:15,
  • 22:04 the angel explains what waters or sea represents.
  • 22:08 “He said to me, ‘The waters which you saw,
  • 22:10 where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes,
  • 22:13 nations, and languages.'”
  • 22:15 This is the goy nations.
  • 22:17 Joshua: You know, this earth, or adamah, always
  • 22:19 represents Hebrews, the grains of sand, Adam,
  • 22:22 that God formed.
  • 22:25 Joshua: Revelation 13:14, “He deceives my own people
  • 22:29 who dwell on the earth because of the signs he
  • 22:31 was granted to do in front of the beast,
  • 22:33 saying to those who dwell on the earth that they
  • 22:35 should make an image to the beast who
  • 22:36 had the sword wound and lived.”
  • 22:39 Caleb: All right, Josh.
  • 22:40 Revelation chapter 13 is very interesting.
  • 22:41 It provides a hint of a false prophet’s lineage.
  • 22:44 You know, most manuscripts these days
  • 22:46 have different translations.
  • 22:48 They say, “And he deceives those who dwell
  • 22:51 on the earth.”
  • 22:52 But then we see in ancient manuscript
  • 22:54 sources, the majority text adds Emous,
  • 22:58 “of my” people, you know, of those who dwell on the earth.
  • 23:02 So–“And it leads astray those of mine dwelling
  • 23:05 on the earth, my own people.”
  • 23:08 We see the same clause again in Acts 28:19
  • 23:12 when Paul says, “My own people” in Greek.
  • 23:15 So it’s possible that John is
  • 23:17 referencing the Jewish people when he’s talking
  • 23:20 about this false prophet, that a Jewish false prophet
  • 23:23 is going to deceive the Jewish people
  • 23:25 who are dwelling on the earth.
  • 23:26 That’s terrifying.
  • 23:28 Caleb: Matthew 24:24, “For false christs
  • 23:31 and false prophets will rise and show great signs
  • 23:34 and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
  • 23:41 Caleb: Josh, it’s important to realize that the Jews
  • 23:43 are gonna believe that the false prophet
  • 23:45 is their Messiah.
  • 23:46 He’s gonna come, allow the rebuilding of a
  • 23:48 third temple.
  • 23:49 He makes his peace treaty with the beast who’s
  • 23:51 a Gentile Messiah to the world.
  • 23:53 Daniel 9:27 declares that there’s gonna
  • 23:55 be a 7-year treaty and in the middle of
  • 23:58 that, 3 1/2-year point, then the beast commits
  • 24:02 the abomination of desolation.
  • 24:04 All bets are off.
  • 24:05 He desecrates the temple.
  • 24:06 It’s shocking to the Jewish people
  • 24:09 that the false prophet then betrays
  • 24:11 the Jewish people and demands
  • 24:12 that they worship the beast, his image, receive his mark
  • 24:16 or they are beheaded.
  • 24:18 Joshua: Well, it’s important to remember, though,
  • 24:19 that the Jews don’t believe the Messiah
  • 24:21 is gonna be God, right?
  • 24:22 Just like Cyrus the Moshiach didn’t end
  • 24:24 up being God, okay?
  • 24:26 So when this happens, the Jews are gonna flee
  • 24:28 to Bozrah, all right?
  • 24:30 Joshua: “And 144,000 tribes will be sealed
  • 24:33 when they come to faith in Yeshua
  • 24:34 by the testimony of the two witnesses.”
  • 24:38 Caleb: Genesis 49:17, “Dan shall be a nachash
  • 24:41 [serpent] beside the derech, a viper along the orach
  • 24:45 [the path] that biteth the ikkvei sus
  • 24:48 [the horse’s heel].”
  • 24:51 Caleb: Genesis 3:15, “And I will put enmity
  • 24:54 between you and the woman, and between your seed
  • 24:56 and her Seed; He shall bruise your head,
  • 24:59 and you shall bruise His heel.”
  • 25:01 Caleb: See, that’s Second Coming, Josh.
  • 25:03 I see that as a fulfillment with,
  • 25:06 you know, the serpent biting at the horse’s heel.
  • 25:08 Well, Yeshua is on a horse.
  • 25:09 He’s riding in to do battle and here’s the serpent,
  • 25:14 the dragon nipping at his heel again,
  • 25:16 and that mirrors a prophecy about
  • 25:18 the tribe of Dan being that serpent along the path
  • 25:22 that bites at the horse’s heel.
  • 25:23 That’s why some people think it is possible
  • 25:26 that the false prophet may be from the tribe of Dan.
  • 25:29 Joshua: It’s really clear that the tribe of Dan
  • 25:31 is rejected as part of the 144,000
  • 25:36 because of all the nonsense that that family did.
  • 25:39 And even though we know that the false prophet
  • 25:42 is Jewish, it is clear that he’s not getting
  • 25:45 saved ’cause he is part Nephilim.
  • 25:48 Caleb: No, that’s what happens.
  • 25:49 Joshua: That’s what happens.
  • 25:51 Joshua: 2 Peter 2:1, “But there was
  • 25:54 also false prophets among the people,
  • 25:56 even as there will be false teachers among you,
  • 25:58 who will secretly bring in destructive heresies,
  • 26:01 even denying the Lord who bought them,
  • 26:03 and bring unto themselves swift destruction.”
  • 26:06 Hirchie: Hi, guys.
  • 26:08 David: Terminology in the Bible is really,
  • 26:09 really important, and the term false prophet
  • 26:12 that we’ve been using to describe this wicked,
  • 26:16 villainous guy comes–actually comes
  • 26:19 from Revelation chapter 19 and verse 20.
  • 26:21 This is what it says.
  • 26:22 “And the beast was captured, and with him the false
  • 26:25 prophet who did mighty miracles
  • 26:27 on behalf of the–“
  • 26:28 Caleb: So that’s where we get false
  • 26:30 prophet, which is interesting ’cause
  • 26:31 everybody today in Christian churches refers
  • 26:34 to the beast in Revelation as the Antichrist,
  • 26:37 but nowhere in the book of Revelation
  • 26:39 is he called the Antichrist.
  • 26:42 So one would think, “Why is that done
  • 26:45 if John the Apostle was the one
  • 26:47 who wrote the book of Revelation,
  • 26:48 but John also wrote the book of 1 and 2 John
  • 26:51 where he coins the term Antichrist
  • 26:53 and even refers to the Antichrist?”
  • 26:55 It’s just maybe he’s trying to tell us something.
  • 26:57 Hirchie: And then he goes on in 1 John 2:22 and he says
  • 27:00 if anyone denies the Father and Yeshua, he’s
  • 27:04 an Antichrist; but also in that same
  • 27:07 chapter just four verses earlier, he says
  • 27:11 that there is someone called the Antichrist.
  • 27:15 Joshua: I agree.
  • 27:16 So for the sake of semantics,
  • 27:18 we’re saying that Antichrist is
  • 27:21 this placeholder that we’ve been using
  • 27:22 to refer to the beast, but the–John is
  • 27:25 actually saying that this Antichrist
  • 27:27 is going to be a great deceiver that deceives
  • 27:29 the Jewish people.
  • 27:31 Henceforth, he would have to be Jewish for them
  • 27:32 to believe the dude, which really makes him
  • 27:35 the false prophet.
  • 27:39 Hirchie: Excellent.
  • 27:40 Caleb: You just destroyed everyone’s
  • 27:41 worldview right there, and I love it.
  • 27:44 But the story isn’t over yet, guys.
  • 27:46 Next week we’re gonna delve more into
  • 27:48 the return of the Nephilim and the rise
  • 27:50 of this one-world pagan religion
  • 27:53 to worship the Nephilim.
  • 27:54 So I can’t wait.
  • 27:55 We gotta stay here in Istanbul for
  • 27:57 a whole week until our viewers
  • 27:59 join us next week.
  • 28:01 Hirchie: As long as we eat the lunch we
  • 28:02 had today, I can stay in Istanbul for a little while.
