Notes from the Webmaster about Zola's 2006 battle with cancer

Tests are inconclusive so far

I just spoke with Zola again. We still don’t have a lot of concrete information yet.

As of right now, no tests have shown conclusively that it’s cancer. They took a look into his esophagus and were surprised to not see some blockage or cells that looked definitely like cancer. So the tests are still inconclusive. In a few days, they will do a more thorough test and then we should know for sure. And then we’ll know what the treatment options and prognosis are.

But I don’t want to make things sound too good, either. All the doctors still believe that it IS cancer. But right now, anyway, we can have the luxury of being in denial. It’s still not confirmed reality yet.

I don’t want to discount the power of prayer, either, naturally. Right now, we can still pray that it isn’t cancer. We can always pray that even if it is, that it’s treatable. We can always pray that God grant Zola more time.

Zola and Sandra should be back in Dallas on Wednesday and are trying for an appointment with the Oncologist on Thursday.

I am so very very sorry!!! My mother died of lung cancer 5 years ago on the 21st of this month. I so “know” what you and your family are going through. I’m at a place in my “journey” that truly needs attention, now better than later. We need people who speak the truth, such as Zola. You know there are “natural” food and supplements that can make a MAJOR difference. That is what God has led me to. I am a student (and lifelong EXPERIENC”EE”) Of alternatives to the “typical” medical establishment’s recommendations for “CANCER”.
Belive me…. it is worth checking on the “alternative” methods to BEAT AND EVEN REVERSE this disease. I’m selling NOTHING. I just want you to know that lab tests, xrays, biopsies, and such are not the ALPHA AND THE OMEGA. And I know you know that. Dear Zola, I will be praying for you. Seek…Find! God Bless You and your ministry. You may contact me if you so choose.

    Respectfully,

    A Friend in Christ

    Dear Zola
Thank God for you! When I tuned into the program when you announced the cancer–I thought–NO, this does not have to be. It for sure is not God’s will for His faithful servant.
You are my brother, and I do not accept this “death sentence”. I join with a multitude of others in believing prayer for your good health and continued success in ministry to Jew and Gentile, for the building of His kingdom. You are needed, you are appreciated, you are greatly loved.
    Much Love and Shalom
