Caption transcript for “A Light unto the Gentiles”

  • 00:15 Joshua Colson: Hey everybody, I’m Joshua.
  • 00:18 Caleb Colson: And I’m Caleb.
  • 00:19 Joshua: And we’re “The
  • 00:21 Bearded Bible Brothers.” Do you know that one of the most amazing perks of this job
  • 00:22 is to go and meet amazing individuals with their
  • 00:24 incredible testimonies?
  • 00:25 We get a chance to connect with other Yeshua loving ministries
  • 00:28 around the world, and we do this in part to fulfill the
  • 00:30 Great Commission.
  • 00:32 Caleb: And we recently had the opportunity to speak to Hedeah
  • 00:35 Falco of Resurrect Ministries.
  • 00:38 She is a believer in Yeshua, she’s Persian, but originally
  • 00:42 she was a part of Islam in a very specific sect.
  • 00:45 She was a believer, hardcore, but she also worked for the
  • 00:48 United States government in counterterrorism.
  • 00:51 She was a part of a task force that went around the world and
  • 00:54 tried to stop radical Islamic terrorists.
  • 00:56 It’s a very interesting story.
  • 00:58 Joshua: Hedeah’s resume is much more impressive than mine.
  • 01:00 So with no further ado, let’s hear her incredible story of how
  • 01:03 she came to faith in Jesus.
  • 01:06 Caleb: I’m here with Hedeah Falco of Resurrect Ministry.
  • 01:10 Thank you for joining me today.
  • 01:11 Hedeah Falco: Thank you for having me.
  • 01:12 Pleasure to be here.
  • 01:14 Caleb: You have 20 years experience in counterterrorism
  • 01:16 working for the government and for private sector, but you were
  • 01:20 a Muslim, a devout Muslim.
  • 01:22 Tell me that story.
  • 01:23 Hedeah: It’s kind of wild.
  • 01:25 I came to faith in college in Islam, and I ended up in a
  • 01:28 community that were–that was reformers, and so they were
  • 01:31 trying to work against the extremism that they saw as a
  • 01:33 threat to not only the United States but all over the world,
  • 01:36 and so the community I ended up a part of was in a knockout,
  • 01:39 drag out fight with the extremists way before Westerners
  • 01:42 were involved, and it was actually happening all over
  • 01:44 the world.
  • 01:45 So a lot of the jihadist kind of Salafi networks that were coming
  • 01:47 from the Gulf were exporting their more rigid interpretations
  • 01:51 all over the world, and so they were encountering these reformer
  • 01:55 Sufi communities that I was a part of, and so I became
  • 01:58 fascinated in the topic.
  • 01:59 I ended up doing a bunch of research, was helping the FBI
  • 02:02 back then in the early days, mid ’90s, and ended up my
  • 02:06 lifetime career.
  • 02:07 Caleb: Well, for those who don’t know about Sufi Islam, which I
  • 02:09 don’t know a lot about, this is new.
  • 02:11 Everybody knows about, you know, Shia and Sunni.
  • 02:13 What is Sufi Islam?
  • 02:15 Hedeah: It’s a mystical branch, so it spans both sects of Sunni
  • 02:18 and Shia, but it’s about finding a relationship with God.
  • 02:21 There’s a lot of whirling, dancing, poetry.
  • 02:24 It’s the New AG version of Islam, and so all of the
  • 02:28 violent, jihadi Koranic texts, they basically reinterpret in a
  • 02:31 modern interpretation and they say, “This is no
  • 02:33 longer applicable.
  • 02:35 This was historical.
  • 02:36 It was about a battle at a certain period of time.
  • 02:39 It’s no longer relevant to modern society,” and so they
  • 02:41 basically do away with all–
  • 02:44 Caleb: Let’s just forget about that part.
  • 02:45 Hedeah: All the bad parts of Islam, and just highlight the
  • 02:48 peace, love, and spirituality of the Meccan verses, basically.
  • 02:51 Caleb: But you saw that there’s a problem.
  • 02:53 You believe this is true Islam when you were a Muslim, and you
  • 02:56 want to fight and combat the false doctrine or the false
  • 03:00 interpretation of Islam, so you joined the government?
  • 03:02 Hedeah: So I didn’t think theirs was false.
  • 03:04 I thought it was extreme.
  • 03:06 So I knew our interpretation was modern, I knew what we were
  • 03:09 doing was new, but I thought it was legitimate, and so I was
  • 03:14 helping the US government identify moderate Muslim
  • 03:17 networks that could defeat the extremists.
  • 03:20 So I went to 37 countries, you know, I went all over the world,
  • 03:24 whether it was Asia, the Middle East, Europe, working with
  • 03:27 European governments, working with local Asian governments to
  • 03:30 see could we build these moderate networks to take on
  • 03:33 the radicals.
  • 03:35 It was 20 years of failure, and it was really hard.
  • 03:37 I became very disillusioned in the weight of carrying all the
  • 03:41 Islamic rituals without feeling like I was getting anywhere.
  • 03:45 There was no eternal security, there was no validation, and I
  • 03:49 just got tired and I ended up deciding to take my head cover
  • 03:53 off after 20-plus years.
  • 03:55 I was working at FBI headquarters, and I was like,
  • 03:57 this is so annoying because every room I walk in,
  • 04:00 everybody’s like, you know?
  • 04:02 So it takes me like, ten minutes before everybody calms down, and
  • 04:05 I was tired of it.
  • 04:06 So I said, “I’m gonna take my head cover off,”
  • 04:07 and then the religion unraveled.
  • 04:09 People started telling me I was going to burn in hellfire.
  • 04:10 Caleb: Oh my goodness.
  • 04:12 Hedeah: Yeah, and I was just like, “You know what, I’m
  • 04:13 just done.”
  • 04:14 Professionally I felt done, spiritually I was done, and I
  • 04:17 ended up moving back to Southern California where I was from, and
  • 04:20 decided to reinvent myself.
  • 04:21 I was miserable, I had no relationship with God, felt like
  • 04:24 a complete failure, and in that brokenness I met Jesus from
  • 04:28 a tweet of a girl I don’t even know.
  • 04:30 I met Jesus on YouTube.
  • 04:32 Caleb: I think within all of us is the desire for the
  • 04:34 supernatural, and we serve a supernatural God.
  • 04:37 Hedeah: We do.
  • 04:38 Caleb: And so you are seeking that supernatural sect of Islam,
  • 04:40 trying to fill that spiritual void, but have you found it in
  • 04:43 Yeshua now?
  • 04:44 Do you–Jesus, do you feel that–the supernatural power
  • 04:47 that he gives us?
  • 04:48 Hedeah: Absolutely, and I try to convey that to my daughter.
  • 04:50 She’s come along in faith with me.
  • 04:52 She recently gave her life to the Lord.
  • 04:53 She just turned 18.
  • 04:55 Caleb: It’s something that we have to offer, I think, as
  • 04:57 Christians that the other, you know, Buddhism, everybody tries
  • 05:00 to be all mystical, but we have a living God that you can see
  • 05:03 the true power.
  • 05:04 He speaks to us and we hear, and we have a relationship with him,
  • 05:07 and I know that’s completely different from Islam
  • 05:10 where it’s–
  • 05:11 Hedeah: God doesn’t speak to you.
  • 05:13 Caleb: God doesn’t speak to you.
  • 05:14 Hedeah: He beats you.
  • 05:15 Caleb: He does, he beats you, and a lot of people
  • 05:17 are polarized.
  • 05:18 You know, witnessing to Jews or Muslims, they’re afraid.
  • 05:20 Oh, they’re hardcore, they’re angry, but it’s not as hard as
  • 05:22 you think.
  • 05:23 They really want to hear the truth.
  • 05:25 How do you witness to a Muslim person?
  • 05:26 Hedeah: Well, the most important thing I think is to realize that
  • 05:29 most Muslims, if they’re informed about their religion,
  • 05:32 are trying to convert you.
  • 05:33 So they love to have the conversation about religion
  • 05:35 because they think they’re going to bring you along.
  • 05:37 So it’s great, you know, and you should use that opportunity to
  • 05:40 ask questions about what they believe, Jesus in the Quran,
  • 05:44 Mary in the Quran, who is Allah, ask all those questions so that
  • 05:47 you have the opportunity to respond, “Oh, that’s
  • 05:50 really interesting.
  • 05:51 Is that what they say about Jesus in the Quran?
  • 05:52 Well, my Jesus,” and revert everything back to my, you know,
  • 05:57 because that’s your personal story, your personal testimony.
  • 06:00 Nobody can get mad at you for what you believe.
  • 06:02 Caleb: That’s why biblical literacy is important, and we
  • 06:05 should know our Word.
  • 06:06 This is our manual for life and it’s our daily bread, and
  • 06:09 without eating it we have no sustenance and we’re not going
  • 06:12 to make it.
  • 06:14 I want to know about ministry.
  • 06:15 What do y’all do and how can people find your ministry?
  • 06:17 Hedeah: Sure, it’s actually ResurrectMinistry.com, so it’s
  • 06:20 an online ministry.
  • 06:22 I started it based on the Lord putting it on my heart to give
  • 06:25 people the experience, the ability to meet him where you
  • 06:27 are, and so it’s to provide resources where they can access
  • 06:31 Bibles, worship bands, pastors–so basically an
  • 06:35 online church, and also to join communities where they can join
  • 06:39 online and be a part of an online community, assuming they
  • 06:42 have no access to a physical church.
  • 06:44 Caleb: It’s such an honor and pleasure to meet with you today.
  • 06:46 Thank you so much for joining me.
  • 06:47 Hedeah: It’s been a pleasure.
  • 06:49 Thank you for having me.
  • 06:50 Caleb: Thank you.
  • 06:52 Joshua: “The Bearded Bible Brothers” is an outreach of Zola
  • 06:54 Levitt Ministries.
  • 06:55 Visit Levitt.com to subscribe to our monthly newsletter, “The
  • 06:58 Levitt Letter,” or call 1-800-WONDERS.

  • 07:03 You can also visit BeardedBibleBros.com to
  • 07:06 subscribe to weekly digital updates through email and watch
  • 07:09 our online videos and content.
  • 07:11 Your donations and love gifts help us continue our mission to
  • 07:14 bring the gospel to the Jew first.
  • 07:16 We thank you for your faithful support.
  • 07:19 Joshua: Did you know that with trained pigeons you could send
  • 07:21 the gospel across the world one little bird at a time, but it’s
  • 07:25 not helpful.
  • 07:26 It’s 2026.
  • 07:27 Did you know the broadcast and satellite television, however,
  • 07:30 that’s been a tool that’s been used for even longer to spread
  • 07:32 the gospel to millions of people worldwide, city by city, town by
  • 07:36 town, without having to have that pigeon fly there.
  • 07:38 It’s fulfilling the Great Commission.
  • 07:39 It’s utilizing the technology of the day, and that is something
  • 07:42 that “The Bearded Bible Brothers,” well, we’ve been
  • 07:43 using for quite some time.
  • 07:45 Caleb: That’s right.
  • 07:46 Our next interview is with Joe Wiley.
  • 07:47 He is vice president of marketing and communications for
  • 07:51 SAT-7 USA.
  • 07:53 It utilizes four satellite television networks, Josh, that
  • 07:57 broadcast in Arabic, Farsi, and Turkish throughout the Middle
  • 08:00 East, and thousands have come to faith through these broadcasts,
  • 08:03 and they use an ingenious method of the local pastors and
  • 08:07 believers making their own teachings and television
  • 08:10 programs in the local dialects of the area so that they can
  • 08:14 reach as many people as possible with the gospel of Yeshua.
  • 08:17 Joshua: Wow, that is powerful to have it in your actual dialect.
  • 08:20 After that, you’re gonna hear from Raj.
  • 08:21 He’s the founder of Hosanna TV, and they broadcast Christian
  • 08:25 television into 190 million homes in the language of Hindi
  • 08:30 in the country of India.
  • 08:32 That’s incredible.
  • 08:34 But first, here’s Joe Wiley.
  • 08:36 Caleb: I am just now learning about SAT-7, and it’s something
  • 08:39 that I’ve been saying for a long time.
  • 08:40 We need someone to do this, and now you’re doing it or have been
  • 08:44 doing it.
  • 08:45 I want our audience to know what is SAT-7.
  • 08:48 Joe Wiley: SAT-7 is a multimedia ministry.
  • 08:50 It started as satellite, but again, as technology has
  • 08:53 changed, we now use digital media.
  • 08:55 There is programming on social media.
  • 08:58 We also have SAT-7 Plus, which we say is Christian Netflix for
  • 09:02 the Middle East, and so SAT-7 is–I think the interesting
  • 09:06 thing is that it is content created in the Middle East for
  • 09:09 the Middle East.
  • 09:11 So there’s a cultural context as well as language, and we support
  • 09:14 the church that is in the region, that in certain
  • 09:17 countries especially is growing at a tremendous rate, as well as
  • 09:23 sharing the gospel.
  • 09:24 It’s a fantastic, I think, opportunity in a region that is
  • 09:28 the focus of world history.
  • 09:30 Caleb: That’s very interesting because there’s not a lot of
  • 09:32 Christians in the Middle East.
  • 09:33 What would be the statistics of how many Christians that you’re
  • 09:36 ministering to that are creating this kind of content?
  • 09:39 Joe: Well, it’s interesting because the Middle East is
  • 09:42 roughly 4% Christian.
  • 09:45 So that leaves 96% that are not, but what is fascinating about
  • 09:51 the Middle East and North Africa is, I think perhaps where SAT-7
  • 09:54 and especially in the Arab world, the misinformation about
  • 09:57 who Christians are, the misinformation about where
  • 10:00 Christianity started.
  • 10:02 It is not a Western or American import.
  • 10:04 Caleb: Are you sure?
  • 10:05 Joe: I am sure, and that’s, I think, also the exciting thing
  • 10:08 for me as an American is to say, wait, wait, because I’ll be on
  • 10:11 calls and I will see what really must amount to what heaven would
  • 10:16 be like, and that is people from different countries, different
  • 10:18 languages, but they’re all pointing to Christ.
  • 10:23 Caleb: We know many Iranian Christians who can’t return, but
  • 10:26 they broadcast secretly into the country.
  • 10:30 How do y’all broadcast?
  • 10:31 What’s the way that people can get access to these stations in
  • 10:35 the Middle East?
  • 10:36 Joe: Satellite technology, as fascinating as it is, you could
  • 10:39 consider that a legacy media because now we have digital
  • 10:42 work, but in Tehran there’s a blackout.
  • 10:46 The internet is throttled.
  • 10:47 No one can watch.
  • 10:49 Well, SAT-7 actually can pivot with these digital programs,
  • 10:52 broadcast them on satellite, which is virtually uncensorable.
  • 10:55 So when we talk about satellite broadcast there aren’t borders,
  • 10:59 and this work, the gospel message, the encouragement, and
  • 11:03 one thing SAT-7 does is we’re not a political organization
  • 11:06 that bashes someone.
  • 11:08 We say, “Look, here’s Christianity.
  • 11:10 Here’s Christ.
  • 11:12 You make your decision.
  • 11:13 We want to minister to Christians, but if you’re
  • 11:15 interested we’re willing to talk,” and that is exactly what
  • 11:19 happens, and people do contact us even in these countries that
  • 11:22 you would say this is really dangerous.
  • 11:25 Caleb: How can our audience, how can people look into SAT-7?
  • 11:28 How can we contact you?
  • 11:29 How can we sow into your ministry?
  • 11:31 Joe: Sure, well, certainly in the US we have a US
  • 11:34 support office.
  • 11:35 So SAT-7 is based in the Middle East and it’s based in Cyprus,
  • 11:38 but we have a US support office.
  • 11:40 You can go to Sat7USA.org, learn more about the organization, and
  • 11:45 actually read testimonies, read stories, and just honestly,
  • 11:48 I just ask people for–just pray.
  • 11:51 Just pray for the work of God.
  • 11:52 Pray for SAT-7.
  • 11:54 Pray for other ministries around the world.
  • 11:55 We are brothers and sisters in Christ.
  • 11:57 We are new creatures.
  • 11:59 We’re a new creation in Christ.
  • 12:00 That, that is what we want.
  • 12:03 Caleb: So Jew or Gentile, male or female, slave or free, we are
  • 12:05 all wanting–
  • 12:06 Joe: We’re all wanting Christ, yes, absolutely.
  • 12:08 Caleb: Thank you so much for joining me today and encouraging
  • 12:11 me with this good news.
  • 12:12 Joe: Oh, thank you very much for having us.
  • 12:13 I really appreciate the work you’re doing.
  • 12:15 Caleb: I am here with Raj of Hosanna TV in India.
  • 12:19 Thank you for joining me.
  • 12:21 Arockia Raj M: Yes sir.
  • 12:22 Caleb: What is it that you do with Hosanna TV?
  • 12:24 Raj: Yes sir.
  • 12:25 Caleb: I’d like to know more about your ministry.
  • 12:27 Raj: Yes sir.
  • 12:28 Actually, let me say about me.
  • 12:32 I am the third generation businessman in India, the great
  • 12:35 country India, you know, God saved me seven times.
  • 12:39 Nearer to death God gave the life.
  • 12:41 So I checked with my mother.
  • 12:45 She told like that from in my womb I surrendered that baby for
  • 12:51 God’s kingdom, so you should serve me.
  • 12:54 Like that, she told.
  • 12:56 Then I wait in the feet of God.
  • 12:58 God clearly told, go and preach the gospel.
  • 13:01 Then afterwards I surrendered my life to God.
  • 13:05 On the day onwards I started to do ministry.
  • 13:09 By God’s grace, we are running Hosanna TV in India.
  • 13:13 It is based in Chennai, and Hindi channel based in Delhi.
  • 13:18 By God’s grace, we are having 190 million viewers.
  • 13:23 Caleb: 190 million viewers?
  • 13:24 Raj: Yes sir, yes sir, by God’s grace.
  • 13:27 It’s a two regional language.
  • 13:29 India Hindi language you might have known.
  • 13:32 Most of the people speaking in Hindi, and our mother own
  • 13:35 language, it’s a Tamil language.
  • 13:38 Hosanna TV is like that Hindi, Tamil, and around that we are
  • 13:42 giving English channel also.
  • 13:44 So three channel we are running.
  • 13:46 This is one of our ministry, and another ministries, there is a
  • 13:51 mission, you know.
  • 13:52 India is a Hindu country.
  • 13:56 In more than 7,000 villages, no churches.
  • 14:03 So God have the burden.
  • 14:05 We have to build the churches.
  • 14:06 By God’s grace, we are establishing churches in Jammu
  • 14:10 Kashmir, top of the India, then Punjab, Haryana, Odisha, bottom
  • 14:18 of Tamil Nadu we have churches.
  • 14:20 More than 100 churches we are having, by God’s grace.
  • 14:23 Another ministry is feeding the poor.
  • 14:27 It’s a prime ministry.
  • 14:29 It’s a dream of our ministry.
  • 14:31 Every day we are feeding 485 people, homeless people, every
  • 14:37 day, India as well as Sri Lanka.
  • 14:41 Our God is our provider, sir.
  • 14:42 God is doing wonderful his work.
  • 14:45 Caleb: Do you all minister when you go to Israel to tell Jews
  • 14:47 about Jesus?
  • 14:49 Raj: Yes, sir.
  • 14:50 I have good Messianic Jewish people as well as Jewish
  • 14:54 people also.
  • 14:55 I have good connection.
  • 14:57 I have to text them, “Brother, Jesus loves you.
  • 14:59 Jesus loves you.”
  • 15:02 The people will–sometimes they will ignore it sometimes.
  • 15:07 I know on the top army officer in Israel.
  • 15:10 I met him in this interview only.
  • 15:13 He is a strong Jewish person.
  • 15:15 He connected with me.
  • 15:17 I told like that, “Brother, Jesus loves you.”
  • 15:20 He asked, “Who is Jesus?”
  • 15:23 I told, “He’s our Savior.”
  • 15:25 Then he, “Oh, you are telling Savior?
  • 15:28 It’s okay,” and after that I connected with him.
  • 15:30 Definitely your people are my brothers.
  • 15:34 Jewish people will come to Jesus.
  • 15:38 Caleb: After our founder Zola Levitt went to be the Lord in
  • 15:41 2006, Dr. Jeffrey Seif took over for Zola in hosting duties,
  • 15:47 representing the ministry and teaching on our television
  • 15:50 program “Zola Levitt Presents,” but Jeff retired from that
  • 15:53 position in 2023 and passed the baton to us, who now assume
  • 15:57 that duty.
  • 15:59 Joshua: We did.
  • 16:00 We get to catch up with Jeff and his wife Barri to see exactly
  • 16:02 what their new initiatives and outreaches are.
  • 16:05 Every time we get to talk to them I have to bring a
  • 16:06 thesaurus, ’cause he’s using words that I don’t understand
  • 16:09 and words that are even bigger than yours, but he is molding
  • 16:13 young minds, college students, with the truth of God’s covenant
  • 16:17 and plan for Israel.
  • 16:18 Caleb: That’s right, and afterward you’ll get to hear
  • 16:20 from Sergeant Major Chaim Malespin of the Aliyah
  • 16:22 Return Center.
  • 16:23 He’s a good friend of ours, and he’s actually deployed on the
  • 16:26 border of Lebanon when he speaks to us, and he explains to us the
  • 16:29 difficulties the IDF is facing with this seven front war
  • 16:33 with Iran.
  • 16:34 Joshua: But first, here’s Dr. Jeffrey and Barri Seif.
  • 16:37 Caleb: Thank you, Jeff and Barry Seif for joining us today.
  • 16:40 Dr. Jeffery Seif: We’re glad to be with you now.
  • 16:42 We’re not bearded, we’re not brothers, but we are Bible, and
  • 16:48 we are married, so I guess we have two couples here.
  • 16:51 You’re a couple of brothers, and we’re a couple couple.
  • 16:54 Joshua: Your union is way cooler, ’cause you had a choice.
  • 16:57 No offense.
  • 16:58 Caleb: Most people don’t know that Jeff is more than just
  • 17:00 a Bible teacher.
  • 17:02 You’re a pastor, you’re a cop, you’re a professor, and even
  • 17:07 you’ve been going to Cambridge recently to get your third PhD.
  • 17:11 Dr. Jeffery Seif: I don’t like to correct my host, but when you
  • 17:13 say I am a cop, with this hair?
  • 17:16 Please, can we talk? No more, I–
  • 17:21 Caleb: Really?
  • 17:23 Dr. Jeffery Seif: I was a police officer for a season, but, you
  • 17:25 know, I’m 70 years of age now, so, you know, someone else can
  • 17:28 go out there and do all of that.
  • 17:29 Joshua: I just thought you were working undercover with
  • 17:31 the hair.
  • 17:32 I was not–I didn’t want to bust it.
  • 17:34 Caleb’s over here saying you’re a cop.
  • 17:35 I’m like, no, he’s working an undercover sting.
  • 17:36 You’re gonna ruin everything.
  • 17:38 Dr. Jeffery Seif: You know.
  • 17:39 I mean, I had a good run, like you’d mentioned,
  • 17:40 ten years of nationally syndicated television.
  • 17:42 I’m happy to pass the torch to you guys to do that.
  • 17:44 I admit that initially, but I felt really honored, quite
  • 17:48 frankly, to follow on the heels of Zola Levitt and just to be
  • 17:53 involved in television.
  • 17:54 People that are interacted with me afterwards, I looked a little
  • 17:58 larger than life because they saw you on the big screen, and
  • 18:01 it did infect me a little bit.
  • 18:04 You know, I’m not without ego.
  • 18:06 It added a few dollars to my bank account and my stock in the
  • 18:10 world, if it was selling for $100 a share, because I was on
  • 18:14 television it was $300 a share.
  • 18:16 The stock went up, but, you know, there’s something I kind
  • 18:19 of was attracted to power, even as a police officer, as a
  • 18:23 doctor, as the title professor, being on television, but as I
  • 18:27 age, quite frankly, those things don’t–it doesn’t mean as much
  • 18:32 to me anymore.
  • 18:34 I can go to a conference and not be the headliner, and partly
  • 18:37 it’s age.
  • 18:39 I look at things that have intrinsic value, and educating
  • 18:42 the next generation, to your point, to me has
  • 18:45 intrinsic value.
  • 18:46 It doesn’t have sparkle, but it has value.
  • 18:49 Joshua: This lovely lady right here, she’s also involved in
  • 18:51 a ton of stuff as well.
  • 18:53 Tell me about the nonprofit.
  • 18:54 Barri Seif: Well, my first trip to Israel was in 1987 as
  • 18:58 a volunteer for the army Israel Defense Forces, of which it was
  • 19:04 a very challenging month-long experience.
  • 19:07 The organization is still active, and I’ve since gone back
  • 19:12 and led tours, been on a couple of tours, but I began
  • 19:17 a nonprofit.
  • 19:18 In fact, one of the people that I saw on one show, or it was a
  • 19:22 newsletter, was Sandra Levitt, who mentioned about that idea of
  • 19:29 doing volunteer work in Israel for the sake of the Good
  • 19:34 News, Besorah.
  • 19:36 That is what excited me, so I began a nonprofit, and we go a
  • 19:41 couple of times a year to serve.
  • 19:43 No one in our organization gets a dollar.
  • 19:46 We all raise our own funds to participate, to go, to serve.
  • 19:51 Dr. Jeffery Seif: And everybody goes at their own expense.
  • 19:53 There’s no profit built into any trip, and the organization
  • 19:58 gives money.
  • 20:00 Joshua: We love getting a chance to hear from you, to honor you
  • 20:02 for everything that you’ve done for the gospel, for everything
  • 20:04 you’ve done for this ministry, and continuing to do for Israel
  • 20:09 and for the young academics of this world who want to know
  • 20:12 exactly how do I maximize my time on this planet for Yeshuba.
  • 20:16 So thank you so much for joining us today.
  • 20:18 Dr. Jeffery Seif: Well, listen, it’s really been my pleasure.
  • 20:19 Barri and I are honored to have the opportunity.
  • 20:22 I wish you good success.
  • 20:24 I want the world to support you, and–
  • 20:27 Barri: You’re the future.
  • 20:31 Caleb: And we’re here with our Jewish brother in the Lord,
  • 20:34 Sergeant Major Chaim Malespin.
  • 20:35 Thank you for joining us today.
  • 20:37 Chaim Malespin: It’s a real honor to see you, brothers.
  • 20:39 It is wonderful to see people of faith because when you have
  • 20:43 faith, you–it takes you through the storm, and you can walk on
  • 20:47 water in the midst of the storm.
  • 20:49 Caleb: Yeah, it looks like you are not entirely in a safe area.
  • 20:53 You’re suited up.
  • 20:54 You’re ready to go into war.
  • 20:56 We know that ballistic missiles have been going daily,
  • 21:00 hitting Israel.
  • 21:01 Don’t tell us exactly where you are right now, but you’re about
  • 21:05 to go in again?
  • 21:06 Chaim: Yeah, well, the thing is, is we’re moving from the south
  • 21:09 of Israel to the north of Israel in progress with the ground
  • 21:13 invasion in to destroy these infrastructure of the proxy of
  • 21:21 Iran called Hezbollah, the ones that just killed a
  • 21:25 combat engineer.
  • 21:26 I’m a combat engineer, right.
  • 21:27 So, combat engineer killed yesterday by them at the
  • 21:30 beginning of this ground invasion.
  • 21:32 Two of them actually died, part of the Nakal brigade.
  • 21:35 It pains me every time this happens, but what I want to just
  • 21:38 say right off at the beginning is there’s this kind of
  • 21:41 perception, why do you have to defend yourselves?
  • 21:44 Can’t you just roll over and die, Israel?
  • 21:47 Can’t you just roll over and die?
  • 21:48 Why do you need to defend yourselves from–can’t you stick
  • 21:51 your head in the sand like an ostrich, and everything will
  • 21:54 be okay.
  • 21:56 Just trust me, everything will be great.
  • 21:57 They’re not gonna make a nuclear weapon to destroy you.
  • 22:00 They’re not gonna shoot those ballistic missiles at
  • 22:02 you tomorrow.
  • 22:03 They’re just gonna–it’s all gonna be great.
  • 22:06 I just like to say that’s not accurate at all, and we got to
  • 22:10 defend ourselves, and also the free world, including America.
  • 22:15 I like to use the example often of Osama bin Laden, and I say
  • 22:19 the Twin Towers in New York City, when they were hit, was
  • 22:24 the reason because we weren’t so friendly, so cordial to the very
  • 22:28 wealthy, exceedingly wealthy bin Laden family?
  • 22:31 Is that why?
  • 22:33 Is it because we went into Afghanistan?
  • 22:35 No, that was later.
  • 22:36 Is it because we went into Iraq?
  • 22:37 No, this was after.
  • 22:39 What caused the Twin Towers to be struck by this bin Laden
  • 22:42 family, it’s because of the ideology or the belief system or
  • 22:46 the tyrannical Islamo-fascist, narco-terrorist,
  • 22:51 apocalyptic fantasies.
  • 22:53 That’s why.
  • 22:56 People forget that quickly.
  • 22:58 Caleb: Absolutely correct.
  • 22:59 Chaim: This is very sad to say, a lot of Jewish people did
  • 23:01 this in the time of Hitler, where they said, “He’s crazy.
  • 23:04 He’s crazy.
  • 23:06 Let’s go to the deli and talk about it.
  • 23:08 These people, Hitler’s crazy.”
  • 23:10 You know, that I’m doing a kind of New York accent there, and,
  • 23:16 you know, “He’s crazy.
  • 23:17 It’ll blow over.”
  • 23:19 It didn’t blow over.
  • 23:21 It got–you got to deal with stuff, and we don’t like to.
  • 23:24 We’d rather–what is it the Jewish way is where you have,
  • 23:28 like in a yeshiva, you go and you sit and you discuss, and you
  • 23:34 have opposing opinions.
  • 23:36 You have a havruta and you discuss things.
  • 23:39 That action is needed, and Trump and Netanyahu took action, and
  • 23:43 I’m very happy about that.
  • 23:45 I’m excited about seeing a new Iran arise, and I do believe
  • 23:49 they’re gonna come in prayer, and we’re gonna see like a Cyrus
  • 23:52 age instead of a Haman age, but instead of that, we can do like
  • 23:56 a Cyrus, which is let’s build the house of prayer.
  • 23:59 Let’s help with the Jewish people returning, the Aliyah.
  • 24:03 Let’s be like Cyrus.
  • 24:05 Caleb: It is amazing how the gospel has come full circle.
  • 24:08 The first Christians were Jews, and they went around declaring
  • 24:11 that Yeshua was Messiah to other Jews.
  • 24:14 Then Rabbi Sha’ul came along, and Yeshua knocked him off his
  • 24:17 horse and said, “Go bring that gospel to the Gentiles,” and
  • 24:21 then Gentiles started coming to faith, and this was
  • 24:24 actually prophetic.
  • 24:25 This was the Word of the Lord fulfilled through the
  • 24:28 prophet Isaiah.
  • 24:29 As he declared in Isaiah 49:6, “Indeed He says, ‘It is too
  • 24:33 small a thing that You should be My servant to raise up the
  • 24:36 tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I
  • 24:39 will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be
  • 24:42 My salvation to the ends of the earth.'”
  • 24:44 Now it’s nearly been a 2,000 year period, and the gospel’s
  • 24:48 coming full circle again as Gentiles have been the one to
  • 24:52 share with the Jews that Yeshua is the Messiah, and now Jews
  • 24:56 coming to faith just like in the first century are taking up that
  • 24:59 mantle as we are Jews declaring the gospel to the Gentiles and
  • 25:03 the Jews as well.
  • 25:04 Joshua: Just the fact that we, Jeff Seif, Chaim Malespin, all
  • 25:07 of them openly declare the salvation by the blood of Yeshua
  • 25:11 as evidence of prophecy being fulfilled.
  • 25:13 That’s evidence, the fact that it’s happening, and if you were
  • 25:16 watching today and God has opened your eyes to the truth
  • 25:19 and you want to make a decision to surrender your life to Jesus,
  • 25:23 it’s not too late.
  • 25:24 When we look in Romans 10:9,
  • 25:25 it declares that, “If you confess with your
  • 25:27 mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
  • 25:30 God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
  • 25:33 Saved from what?
  • 25:34 That’s a big question, and
  • 25:36 there’s probably a lot of people
  • 25:37 who are asking that question today.
  • 25:38 “I have everything that I need.
  • 25:40 I’m self-sustained.
  • 25:41 If not, I’ve got a family, and if not my family, I’m going to
  • 25:44 find a way.”
  • 25:45 Saved from eternal separation is what the Bible says.
  • 25:48 You may not know this, but that empty hole in your heart that’s
  • 25:50 causing you to reach out on social media and to get the
  • 25:53 attention of others, that craves the likes, that craves something
  • 25:56 as you go to bed at night that you don’t have, that is
  • 26:00 a relationship with your Creator, with the Father who
  • 26:04 sent His only Son Jesus.
  • 26:05 You see, we live on an earth that because of man’s decision
  • 26:09 was owned by sin.
  • 26:10 That means when you were born, whether you think you’re a good
  • 26:12 person or not, you’re condemned to hell because of that sin, and
  • 26:16 the Law said that the only way for you to be saved was for
  • 26:20 somebody to live perfectly, and guess what?
  • 26:23 In all of the history of mankind there’s only been one man who’s
  • 26:26 ever fulfilled that Law, and his name is Jesus, the Son of God.
  • 26:30 He lived perfectly for you.
  • 26:32 He then suffered one of the most horrific beatings and deaths on
  • 26:36 a cross, and when he died he went to hell and he walked up to
  • 26:39 Satan and he grabbed ownership, the keys, the deed to death,
  • 26:43 hell, and the grave on this planet, and then he rose again
  • 26:46 in the third day, and then when he ascended into heaven, he
  • 26:49 said, “I’m preparing a place for you, so that when you choose
  • 26:52 life, which can only come through me, you’ll spend an
  • 26:55 eternity up here with me and my Father.”
  • 26:58 All it takes is belief.
  • 27:00 All it takes is what Romans said, the confession of your
  • 27:02 mouth and the belief in your heart, and when you pray that
  • 27:05 prayer saying, “Jesus, I believe.
  • 27:08 Forgive me of my sins.
  • 27:10 I confess that I’m a sinner, and I want you to be the Lord of my
  • 27:13 life,” then you no longer have to worry about
  • 27:15 eternal separation.
  • 27:16 It doesn’t stop there.
  • 27:18 It’s not time to go out and do the same dumb things you did
  • 27:20 from that point.
  • 27:21 It’s time to consecrate your life.
  • 27:23 It’s time for you to begin to learn who you are in Christ
  • 27:25 Jesus, and that comes through discipleship, and that’s what
  • 27:28 this ministry is here to do.
  • 27:29 We’re here to introduce you to the Father, and then we’re here
  • 27:32 to disciple you into the men and women that you are called to be,
  • 27:35 so that the sacrifice of the Father is not in vain, and so
  • 27:38 that you can know the true fulfillment of being with him
  • 27:41 together forever in eternity.
  • 27:44 Caleb: Amen, and as you go, don’t forget to shout sha’lu
  • 27:47 shalom yerushalayim.
  • 27:48 Joshua: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
