• 00:33 Kirsten: I'm Kirsten Hart.
• 00:35 Jeffrey Seif: Jeffrey Seif.
• 00:36 Kirsten: We hope you are enjoying Zola's
• 00:37 "Thy Kingdom Come" series.
• 00:39 We--I, we, all of us appreciate Zola's teaching,
• 00:44 especially in this series of the end timeline,
• 00:47 and sometimes that can be confusing to follow,
• 00:51 and Zola makes it easy and it's smooth.
• 00:53 Jeffrey: And speaking of end times,
• 00:55 his time came to an end now, didn't it?
• 00:59 But what a race he ran.
• 01:02 I think one of the things that was unique to the man,
• 01:05 in a world full of foam and froth,
• 01:07 he was big on substance.
• 01:09 A low-key kind of guy in a ramped up world,
• 01:11 and I think people appreciate that about him.
• 01:14 There was so much, you know, pressing for people's money.
• 01:18 He wanted to make a point more than he wanted to make a buck
• 01:21 and there was a certain genius and generosity in that
• 01:24 that resonated with viewers in his day.
• 01:27 David: You knew his heart.
• 01:28 You went to Israel with him many times.
• 01:31 I wish we had that chance to do that.
• 01:32 Jeffrey: Yeah, I knew the guy,
• 01:35 and he was just a unique individual.
• 01:37 Of course, now he's way in the rearview mirror
• 01:39 of Zola Levitt Ministries as a name reaches into the future,
• 01:44 but it doesn't hurt to remember where we came from.
• 01:47 And the principle--of course in this program we're going to be,
• 01:51 quite frankly, unapologetically, talking about money.
• 01:54 We're not gonna lean on you and with all kinds of fancy things,
• 01:57 but you know, we do need to pay the bills.
• 01:59 But I remember Zola with it all, that he just didn't go
• 02:04 for the gimmicks, didn't go for the hype.
• 02:06 He was just pretty straightforward about it all.
• 02:08 People appreciated that.
• 02:09 Kirsten: Right, and they appreciate the fact
• 02:11 that Zola went to Israel and showed them the holy land.
• 02:15 Let's go back and visit some of the places that Zola was taping
• 02:20 "Thy Kingdom Come" on location in Israel.
• 02:25 Zola Levitt: Okay, now back to the second coming,
• 02:27 which is gonna pass me by.
• 02:29 If it happened right now, my gosh,
• 02:31 the Lord would pass right through here.
• 02:33 Here are the graves.
• 02:34 Here are the people, buried to await
• 02:36 the resurrection on the Mount of Olives.
• 02:38 Our subject today is our works.
• 02:41 Something seldom taught in the church,
• 02:43 I'm not sure why.
• 02:44 We have things to do in this life.
• 02:48 We're not just saved to sit here and wait for the rapture.
• 02:52 Salvation is not like a money market certificate you hold
• 02:55 and then cash one day.
• 02:57 Actually, we work at it.
• 02:59 Zola: Ever since God saw that it was not good for the man
• 03:02 to be alone and gave him a partner,
• 03:04 marriage throughout the Bible is stressed.
• 03:08 And in a wonderful way in the New Testament,
• 03:12 it becomes part of the mission of our Lord who came to earth
• 03:16 literally to choose a wife.
• 03:18 Zola: After that judgment seat of the righteous,
• 03:21 when our works have been judged, the bad works taken away,
• 03:24 we're simply perfect.
• 03:26 Our sins were forgiven at the cross and now any bad works
• 03:29 are taken away, and we are pure.
• 03:32 As Paul said, a virgin bride to present to his Lord,
• 03:35 and we marry the Lord in the marriage supper of the Lamb.
• 03:39 Zola: Well, the kingdom, the 1,000 year reign,
• 03:42 the thing we're gonna pray for, "Thy kingdom come,"
• 03:45 this is germane to the Christian life.
• 03:48 We don't talk enough about it in the church.
• 03:52 David: We've been able to experience what it's like to
• 03:54 have a backdrop, Israel, for a series like "Thy Kingdom Come."
• 03:58 It's a pretty amazing.
• 03:59 Kirsten: And as Zola did, that was his trademark
• 04:01 and that's the trademark of this whole program.
• 04:03 You did it for years.
• 04:05 Jeffrey: Yes and--
• 04:06 Kirsten: Why the importance of filming there?
• 04:08 Jeffrey: We keep on doing it.
• 04:09 You know, pastors open up the Bible and they talk about Israel
• 04:10 from a local--from a building.
• 04:13 We like to take people to where it all took place and
• 04:17 it's just--it gives a kind of vision for the story
• 04:21 that wouldn't otherwise be there.
• 04:23 Speaking of story, let's look some more at some highlights
• 04:26 from Zola Levitt on "Thy Kingdom Come."
• 04:30 Zola: Well, throughout this series about the future,
• 04:33 it's been problematic where to place certain lessons.
• 04:36 I mean, after all, where do you film eternity?
• 04:38 That sort of thing.
• 04:40 We didn't have a new heaven, a new earth,
• 04:41 and a new Jerusalem, but we found something.
• 04:44 And in this case, we're gonna talk about
• 04:46 this last battle on earth.
• 04:49 Zola: Now we're going to talk about what the whole world
• 04:52 calls judgment day, the great white throne.
• 04:55 Now, we're to tape something about God's throne in heaven
• 05:01 where he's gonna judge all of the people for all times,
• 05:06 the wicked dead.
• 05:07 Zola: Well, we came to Jerusalem, the old Jerusalem,
• 05:09 the Jerusalem we have now, to talk to you about the period
• 05:13 in which we're gonna have a new Jerusalem,
• 05:15 the period called eternity, the period I think of as--
• 05:18 with the three words from Revelation, "No more tears."
• 05:23 David: One of the things we were asked to do when we started
• 05:26 this ministry, when we joined about a year and a half ago,
• 05:29 was to bring back Zola's music, his songs.
• 05:33 Without any hesitation, we said we would love--
• 05:36 we'd be honored to do that.
• 05:37 Kirsten: Right, we've listened to his songs
• 05:39 and they're great.
• 05:40 They're busy, some of them.
• 05:42 I'm a cellist, so I've played classical music my whole life.
• 05:45 And Zola was a classical oboe player and some of his songs
• 05:49 are melodious.
• 05:50 And there's some--you sang one in Israel that's very fast.
• 05:54 It's almost a--
• 05:55 David: Very wordy.
• 05:56 Kirsten: Oboe song, but it's great.
• 05:58 It's just the Israeli feeling mixed with English lyrics,
• 06:01 and it's just been an honor.
• 06:03 David: But to sing these songs in Israel that Zola
• 06:06 wrote is just pretty phenomenal.
• 06:08 Kirsten: Let's go to one now. Here's a Zola song.

• 07:42 Kirsten: Zola was well known for going to Israel for his
• 07:45 teaching but also for his music.
• 07:47 And I've gotta be honest with you,
• 07:49 as a worship pastor, wife, you and I have served in music
• 07:54 in a church for, oh my gosh, our whole lives.
• 07:56 David: Thirty years.
• 07:57 Kirsten: Honestly, and I see the next wave in worship
• 08:01 combining Hebrew words and the feel with English words.
• 08:07 The combo of both honestly is I think where it's going.
• 08:10 David: Can I impress you here for a second?
• 08:11 Jeffrey: Sure.
• 08:13 David: [singing in Hebrew]
• 08:21 Jeffrey: I like the look in your eye as much as the sound
• 08:23 of your voice, because you attest to the fact people
• 08:26 are getting it.
• 08:28 And people are getting it because we're giving it.
• 08:30 And we didn't just start at 40 years thereabouts,
• 08:34 we've been in the game for a long time.
• 08:37 To me with the hearts, I'm thrilled that people
• 08:41 are appreciating the Jewish roots of the faith.
• 08:44 I don't wanna be self-serving in saying it,
• 08:46 but the truth of the matter is we've been
• 08:48 a primary dispenser of that information the world over.
• 08:53 One of the happiest moments in my life is when I paid
• 08:58 the last mortgage payment on the house, and I thought,
• 09:03 "Thank God that's over."
• 09:06 The problem with our location in the world as a television
• 09:10 ministry is we don't own space, we rent it.
• 09:13 The mortgage never gets paid. It's weekly, it's monthly.
• 09:18 It's not a 10-year, or a 15, or a 30-year mortgage.
• 09:22 It goes on and on.
• 09:23 That's why we need to take some time to ask you
• 09:27 to help us tell the story.
• 09:30 We wanna get the story out.
• 09:32 We think we've got the story straight.
• 09:34 And if in your heart you believe that's the case, please.
• 09:39 We live in a world today where antisemitism is on the rise.
• 09:43 The church in many respects, some are getting it,
• 09:46 but many have lost sight of the Jewish roots
• 09:48 of the Christian faith.
• 09:49 People today have lost sight of the need to stand with Israel.
• 09:54 That's why we need ambassadors.
• 09:57 And for there to be one of me, we need to have
• 10:00 a thousand of you.
• 10:01 Please take a moment.
• 10:03 If you've been watching the program,
• 10:05 please help us ensure that others see it into the future.
• 10:09 I trust you'll understand we don't do this often,
• 10:13 but we need to do it now and I'm not ashamed to do it.
• 10:16 Because if you do what you do, we can do what we do.
• 10:21 Please be gracious and support us.
• 10:23 So much for that.
• 10:24 I had to take a deep breath before I said it.
• 10:26 I'm glad it's out of the way.
• 10:28 Now, off to location to look at a new coming series
• 10:32 that takes us back to the Garden of Eden.
• 10:37 Jeffrey: As I walk along this path here
• 10:39 on the Mount of Olives, I'm reminded of the fact
• 10:42 that in the Jewish world, the religious walk
• 10:45 is considered a journey.
• 10:46 It's called "halakha," which comes from the Hebrew verb,
• 10:50 "halak," which means to walk.
• 10:52 In the newer testament as well, Jesus gives voice to the fact
• 10:57 that the journey is a narrow journey and we're beckoned
• 10:59 to walk it.
• 11:01 Jeffrey: It is so excited to take you to the cutting edge.
• 11:06 And here we are, walking among the ruins of a bygone era.
• 11:13 It is a fascinating story. It's a tough story.
• 11:18 On one level, it's a bad story because when I walk among this,
• 11:24 I'm reminded of the fact that God judges sin.
• 11:30 Jeffrey: Well, I wanna move on from these jagged rocks
• 11:33 to the ragged edge of time.
• 11:37 And certainly John, when he writes the book of Revelation,
• 11:40 he takes us there.
• 11:42 And there's some good news in what--and the book
• 11:45 of Revelation, in so many ways, is a bad news world.
• 11:47 In chapter 21, verse 10, John says,
• 11:51 "He carried me away in the ruach, in the spirit,
• 11:54 and he showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming
• 11:59 down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God."
• 12:06 Jeffrey: If you look at the world around me here,
• 12:10 it's really characterized by a kind of dryness,
• 12:13 by a kind of ruinness if you will.
• 12:16 These people were agrarians, they were farmers,
• 12:19 but there's just not much that you can do with all of this.
• 12:23 The Bible says that the children were judged and taken off
• 12:28 and that the land itself would fall into decay,
• 12:33 despair, not much there.
• 12:36 That's the bad news.
• 12:37 The good news is then in verse 12,
• 12:40 "It will come to pass."
• 12:44 David: As you see from this preview,
• 12:45 there's a lot of energy in this series that we're excited
• 12:48 to be a part of.
• 12:49 Kirsten: And it's brand new.
• 12:51 You brought us a brand new series.
• 12:52 Is it Indiana Jones with the whip,
• 12:55 and the hat, and the Jeep?
• 12:56 Are we searching for Eden that way?
• 12:57 Jeffrey: Yeah, it's kind of exciting to go on the search,
• 12:59 but it's not just me that brought it.
• 13:01 If our good friends didn't, you know, help us,
• 13:04 it wouldn't have been brought.
• 13:05 But even in that regard, I think part of the genius
• 13:08 of Zola Levitt, it takes a certain kind of personal
• 13:11 strength to get up in front of a group and make a speech.
• 13:14 Maybe a lot of our viewers aren't comfortable standing up
• 13:16 and doing public speaking.
• 13:18 It takes something internally to do that.
• 13:20 Similarly, it takes something to stand up or sit down
• 13:23 in front of a zillion people on television.
• 13:25 And the kind of people that do that tend to wanna do it
• 13:28 alone and have all the energy focused on them.
• 13:31 In Zola's day, he was great about bringing
• 13:33 other people into the game.
• 13:35 He was not only low key in his approach to money,
• 13:38 he was low key in his approach to presentation.
• 13:41 He was the principle, but he always had great interviews.
• 13:44 Speaking of which, our very own Chaim Malespin
• 13:48 is interviewing Doron.
• 13:49 You're gonna love this guy, a security guy,
• 13:52 a warrior physically and spiritually.
• 13:53 Let's go to Israel now.
• 13:57 Chaim Malespin: So there's a growing interest in nations
• 13:59 to come to Jerusalem and to come to the Temple Mount.
• 14:03 Why in your opinion is this?
• 14:05 Doron Keidar: Well, all the Temple Mount movements
• 14:08 and organization in Israel.
• 14:09 Every one of them verbatim say the same thing.
• 14:12 Beit tefillah yikkare, beit tefillah lechol ha'ammim.
• 14:16 It will be called a house of prayer for all nations.
• 14:18 So, we believe in that, I believe in that,
• 14:21 that the nations are gonna stream to Zion.
• 14:23 They're gonna stream to God's holy house and that's going to
• 14:26 be part of the restoration that God brings not just to Israel
• 14:30 but to the world as a whole, because that's gonna be the glue
• 14:33 in which God is going to breathe life through Israel
• 14:37 and through onwards to the nations.
• 14:39 Chaim: Do you think that the rebuilding of the temple
• 14:42 is a reconstruction of Eden that was lost?
• 14:45 Doron: Absolutely.
• 14:46 The genesis of the Temple Mount starts with Adam and Eve.
• 14:50 God takes the piece of earth, as we know, makes clay,
• 14:54 breathes life into it, et cetera, et cetera.
• 14:56 That's Adam, the first human being.
• 14:58 He's created, according to Jewish tradition,
• 15:00 from the very earth of the Temple Mount.
• 15:02 Future then, you have also the Garden of Eden,
• 15:05 which is the place he's dwelling in,
• 15:07 in this heavenly place, as you will, Gan Eden,
• 15:10 which is what we say.
• 15:12 You're going to heaven.
• 15:13 In Hebrew, you say, "Gan Eden," by the way.
• 15:16 I know in Christian English speaking,
• 15:19 you use a different term, heaven and Eden, right?
• 15:23 But in Hebrew, you use the same term for both Eden and heaven.
• 15:27 And so, the point is, in Jewish tradition,
• 15:30 we believe this is where Adam was created out of the earth,
• 15:33 we believe this is where the Garden of Eden was,
• 15:37 and we also believe this is where heaven will meet earth.
• 15:40 So, this is the very navel of the earth,
• 15:42 the very place where heaven meets earth literally.
• 15:47 Dr. Seth Postell: When we think about the Messianic hope,
• 15:51 when we think about the hope of believers,
• 15:54 typically the way that the hope is presented is when we die
• 15:57 we will go to heaven, and that's true.
• 16:00 Absent from the body is present with the Lord,
• 16:03 that is true as it is.
• 16:05 But interestingly enough, throughout the Scriptures,
• 16:08 the biblical hope is constantly presented not as us leaving,
• 16:12 but as his coming.
• 16:14 We long for his return.
• 16:17 And so, the biblical hope is rooted in the redemption
• 16:20 of creation.
• 16:21 The biblical hope is rooted in the removal of the curse.
• 16:25 The biblical hope is rooted in the seed of the woman,
• 16:30 the seed of David, ruling and reigning
• 16:34 from a specific geographical region.
• 16:38 The world will never be right until a son of Adam,
• 16:43 a son of David, is seated in Jerusalem.
• 16:48 That is the plan of God.
• 16:49 That is biblical hope.
• 16:51 And so, I would simply argue that to not see this narrative
• 16:54 thread is to really undermine God's purposes for the coming
• 16:59 of the Messiah and how that's tied back
• 17:02 to his original purposes with Adam and Eve.
• 17:07 Jeffrey: This is Guy Erlich's Garden of Eden,
• 17:10 where he comes daily to inspect and tenderly care
• 17:13 for his rare collection of plants.
• 17:16 Actually, he started it all for medicinal purposes,
• 17:19 but it seems there were bigger plans for his life,
• 17:22 a bigger reason for it all.
• 17:24 Guy Erlich: I started with my plants with a desire to make
• 17:27 a medication out of them.
• 17:29 And this is still my main goal, but along the years I understood
• 17:33 that my plants have some other purposes.
• 17:37 And if they will be able to serve the third temple,
• 17:41 I'd be more than happy to be the one that would bring it.
• 17:45 So, I promised Rabbi Ariel that I'd do my best to have
• 17:53 as many ingredients of the holy temple as I can.
• 17:57 There are eight known ingredients and another
• 18:03 three unknown ingredients.
• 18:06 To find out what are the unknown ingredients and to try to have
• 18:10 the best quality of ingredients, so when there will be a temple,
• 18:14 we will have the resin.
• 18:15 We will not have to wait for this.
• 18:18 And about two months ago, a father--I understand
• 18:23 that I become a officially-- I officially became the incense
• 18:30 provider for the third temple.
• 18:34 Guy: Over here, I've got a mixture of Frankincense,
• 18:36 myrrh, and some dried Balm of Gilead branches.
• 18:39 I'm making a resin.
• 18:40 I'm crushing it into very, very small pieces.
• 18:44 In Hebrew, this is called mugmar.
• 18:46 There is a very nice sentence in Hebrew.
• 18:50 It says to bless the mugmar.
• 18:52 So, I'm going to take some mugmar in my hand
• 18:55 and I want to bless you good people with health,
• 18:59 and happiness, and prosperity, and fulfillness.
• 19:03 This is how to burn the incense in the temple,
• 19:08 not on direct fire, on coal.
• 19:10 Sometimes they put some salt, you know,
• 19:12 to make the color a bit cooler.
• 19:16 But this is how they burn the incense,
• 19:18 chopped resin put on coal.
• 19:23 Jeffrey: It's really fascinating when you think about it.
• 19:26 The incense is being manufactured,
• 19:29 oil, the accoutrements for the temple are being retooled.
• 19:34 We really live in prophetic times and we're honored to be
• 19:37 your newspaper reporters to take you to the cutting edge
• 19:41 of prophecy today, yes?
• 19:43 David: U.S.--
• 19:44 Kirsten: Go, yeah.
• 19:45 David: U.S. Embassy, would that be a prophecy for today?
• 19:48 Jeffrey: Yes, this city right now,
• 19:50 long since forgotten, is coming to the fore,
• 19:54 and it's a thrill to tell the story.
• 19:57 Kirsten: It is, and it's blooming.
• 19:59 Ezekiel talked about Israel, the land,
• 20:01 the desert blooming.
• 20:02 It's just--it's exciting to me.
• 20:04 I love the thought of the incense being prepared.
• 20:07 And I love the smell of incense and I think God like
• 20:10 a good barbecue 'cause he loves that aroma coming up.
• 20:13 And it's just an honor and treat that we here on,
• 20:16 "Zola Levitt Presents" get to bring series like that
• 20:19 from Israel.
• 20:20 Jeffrey: And I think it's a treat too,
• 20:22 forgive me for walking on you, that we get to all of us live
• 20:25 at a time to see the newspaper in one hand,
• 20:28 the Bible in the other, and see how it all comes together.
• 20:31 Kirsten: It's coming alive and we get to see it.
• 20:33 David: Right now, let's go to some short interviews
• 20:35 again with some folks in Israel.
• 20:41 Jeffrey: I caught up with David Parsons at the promenade
• 20:43 overlooking the old city of Jerusalem.
• 20:46 David is the vice president of the International
• 20:48 Christian Embassy in Jerusalem and has acted
• 20:51 as a lobbyist with Congress for Israel.
• 20:55 He co-wrote the first draft of the Jerusalem Embassy Act
• 20:58 that was passed in 1995, and now 23 years later
• 21:03 it's come to fruition.
• 21:05 The embassy is there.
• 21:07 David Parsons: Well, I think, you know,
• 21:09 there's a symbolic act, but there's
• 21:12 a lot of substance to it.
• 21:14 It's the right thing to do for such a close ally of America
• 21:17 and I think it's another example of how Israel is singled out.
• 21:23 And you'd have to say it's antisemitic that they're the
• 21:25 only nation that does not-- is not allowed the sovereign
• 21:29 right of every nation to choose its own capital.
• 21:32 So, this is the right thing to do.
• 21:34 But I think spiritually it's a new season for Jerusalem.
• 21:38 The nations are coming back. America is leading them up.
• 21:42 And I think there's something about the question of Jerusalem
• 21:45 in our day that is dividing the sheep and goat nations.
• 21:49 Those countries that truly fear God and honor his Word more than
• 21:54 they fear and honor men, they're going to make that decision,
• 21:58 that right and proper decision to return to Jerusalem,
• 22:01 and I think there are even benefits
• 22:03 for the church out there.
• 22:05 We've always seen as God restores things to Israel,
• 22:08 he restores things to the church as well.
• 22:11 They go in parallel.
• 22:13 Pat Boone: Put the needle on the record.
• 22:15 Bom bom, bom bom.
• 22:18 And the words just popped in my head,
• 22:20 "This land is mind."
• 22:23 That's the whole story of Israel in Exodus.
• 22:27 "This land is mind."
• 22:28 The next theme, bom bom bom bom, bom bom,
• 22:32 "God gave this land to me."
• 22:34 In 20 minutes, I kept putting the needle over and writing,
• 22:37 like, dictation.
• 22:39 It was just--I was getting the lyric as I listened to
• 22:41 the melody and I wrote down what it was saying to me.
• 22:46 "Until I die, this land is mine," a personal statement.
• 22:49 Not trying to capture 2 1/2 million people coming
• 22:53 across the desert, the walls of Jericho, all of that history.
• 22:57 No, one man or one woman's conviction that this--
• 23:02 God had created this land for him or her
• 23:04 and she was possessing or he's possessing it.
• 23:08 And that made it simple to write and I just finished it,
• 23:11 the publisher accepted it, Ernest Gold, the composer,
• 23:15 Otto Preminger, the director/producer
• 23:17 of the film, and the words became the words
• 23:21 of what's like the second Jewish national anthem.
• 23:25 ♪♪♪
• 23:27 ♪ If I must fight, I'll fight ♪
• 23:31 ♪ to make this land our own ♪
• 23:36 ♪ Until I die ♪
• 23:45 this land is mine ♪♪
• 24:03 Chaim: The Bible says that there will be
• 24:04 a third temple built.
• 24:06 Are there any preparations for that that you know
• 24:08 of here in the land of Israel?
• 24:10 Yehuda Glick: Look, we have to understand two things.
• 24:12 First of all, as I said before, every one of the promises
• 24:15 of the prophets is coming true day by day,
• 24:19 and therefore the building of the third temple
• 24:21 will definitely take place.
• 24:23 And it's not something that's miraculous from heaven,
• 24:25 it's handmade.
• 24:28 But we don't know how to predict the future,

• 24:33 In Jerusalem, there are organizations like the Temple
• 24:35 Mount Heritage Foundation, the Temple Institute,
• 24:37 the Temple Educational Center, Temple Mount Faithful,
• 24:45 Cry for Zion, many, many different organizations
• 24:46 who are connecting people to the temple and Temple Mount.
• 24:49 In the Temple Institute for instance,
• 24:51 they have prepared many, many of the vessels ready to be used.
• 24:55 Will they be used? We don't know.
• 24:58 These are people who are preparing.
• 25:00 But when, the world will be ready for it,
• 25:02 just like the establishment of the state of Israel.
• 25:05 It was not done by a private organization.
• 25:07 It was done by the people of Israel.
• 25:09 It'll be done also.
• 25:10 It'll be done not only by the people of Israel,
• 25:12 Zechariah says that Gentiles will join in building the walls
• 25:15 of Jerusalem and the temple.
• 25:17 So, it'll happen.
• 25:18 And today, there are many people who are preparing,
• 25:20 who are studying.
• 25:21 And as soon as the time gets there, we'll be--
• 25:24 we'll definitely be at it.

• 26:35 It's a fundraiser and we rarely do it,
• 26:38 but we need to because truth of the matter is that
• 26:41 the funds are down.
• 26:43 Now, I don't think we do fundraisers well to tell you
• 26:46 the truth because it's not like we're leaning on you,
• 26:48 and you know, peddling fancy things to try
• 26:50 to elicit a response.
• 26:52 All we do is tell our story and ask the question,
• 26:55 is there anything resonating in your heart as a result of it?
