Shalom, faithful friend,
The Jewish People have endured profound grief following the tragic massacre of October 7, 2023. Because of the persistent threats in the seven-front Islamic Jihad, Israelis have dealt with the ongoing casualties of soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and civilians in Israel. As the country rebuilds and its people seek to return to a sense of normalcy, many are wondering: How can a nation heal from such loss? How can Israel rekindle hope and achieve peace after such deep, ongoing trauma?
Despite human uncertainties, God promises to do the impossible for His people Israel. Note this prophetic word for our time:
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God and there is no other…” (Joel 2:25–27).

This restoration — shalam in Hebrew — means to be made complete, sound in mind and body, to make amends and recompense, to finish, repay, reward, or prosper. God’s justice is sound; what the enemy means for evil, the Lord will turn into good (Rom. 8:28). Satan constantly violates God’s boundaries, directives, and covenants. As our adversary seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, he breaks the spiritual laws that God has established.
Eventually, God will require recompense from the kingdom of darkness. King Solomon prophetically foreshadowed the great price that a thief must pay when he is caught — a sevenfold restitution (Prov. 6:30–31). Though we know the ultimate judgment that Satan and his forces will receive at the end of time, it’s our duty to hold him accountable now. Therefore, let’s petition our loving Heavenly Father for His swift justice and for His restoration of what was lost.

Yeshua promised: “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matt. 7:8). These three actions unlock the mystery of the ages — not only for salvation but also for God’s design for the universe. Those who ask of Him will receive, as Yeshua reinforced in the parable of the unjust judge: “And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly…” (Luke 18:7–8a).
In our despair, however, sometimes we forget to ask. Or in our pain, we may fail to seek the freedom, justice, or deliverance that God offers. Still, our Father reaches out in our point of need, even for His Chosen People who have yet to receive the revelation of His Son Yeshua. Isaiah’s words are a promise to Israel: “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Isa. 40:31).
We Believers in Yeshua have a more perfect covenant made by His blood. Though persecutions, trials, and tribulations will come, the Lord promised power and authority to overcome these through our faith. The Apostle John declared: “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (1 John 5:4–5).
Zola Levitt Ministries remains committed to unwavering support for God’s Chosen People. In addition, we are dedicated to serving as a conduit of Yeshua’s love to those who are hurting. Our outreach engages the lost through diverse platforms including television, print, and social media. Most importantly, we share the Gospel with the Jewish people.
Our benevolence funds also support ministries and organizations that are making a tangible difference on the ground in Israel, ensuring that your contributions have a significant impact. Through your faithful giving and praying, we will continue aiding those who are hurting and spreading the message of faith and compassion.
Thank you for your heart for the Jewish people.
Love, Joshua and Caleb

P.S. Remember Paul’s admonition in the Book of Galatians: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Gal. 6:9).

FROM SARAH, OUR SABRA
ON THE GROUND IN ISRAEL
Dear Friend,

Shalom from Israel. In late April, Israel celebrated 78 years as a nation. Though the modern state was established after David Ben-Gurion declared our independence in 1948, Israel is actually 3,000 years old. According to Jewish tradition, Israel has twice reached 77 years of sovereign united rule but never surpassed it — until now.
The first 77 years spanned the reigns of Kings David and Solomon (approx. 1,008–931 B.C.). The second was the Hasmonean Kingdom (roughly 140–63 B.C.). Therefore, breaking through the 77-year barrier is especially significant.
Throughout history, many people became hostile toward the Jews. For centuries, even Believers in Yeshua have promoted the idea that God had forsaken the Jews — abandoning His covenant and His promises. They claimed that the Church had replaced the Jews as God’s Chosen People.
This narrative was easier to maintain during exile but was harder to defend after the modern State of Israel was re-established in 1948. Our regathering as a nation is a sign of God’s unfailing love and steadfastness to His covenant despite our sin and stubbornness.
The Miracle of Israel
God has proven that He keeps His promises. Now, those who promote Replacement Theology face a choice: They can continue viewing Israel as an evil to be destroyed or they can repent and embrace Biblical truth. The Jews’ return to their land doesn’t just challenge Replacement Theology; it shatters this false teaching. Hating Israel is a spiritual issue. Freedom from this sin requires repentance and submission to the one true God — the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.
Through Moses, God promised that He would one day reunite His people from the nations: “then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where He scattered you” (Deut. 30:3). This regathering wouldn’t be from one nation, like after the Babylonian exile, but from nations — plural.
Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones coming to life depicts God’s plan: “… I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life… Then you will know that I am the Lord” (Ezek. 37:5–6). Isaiah also foretold the sudden rebirth that happened in 1948: “… Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children” (Isa. 66:8).
From the ashes of one of history’s darkest chapters — the Holocaust — we became one of the world’s most dynamic and innovative countries. This restoration would have been impossible without God’s miraculous power and faithfulness. Millions of Jews have returned to our ancestral homeland, reviving ancient cities, cultivating the land, and restoring Hebrew as a living language. These are unparalleled in human history. For Believers, Israel is a living testament to God’s faithfulness — a nation rooted in covenant and prophecy, offering tangible hope to others.
Little-Known Wonders of Israel
Fascinating facts about the modern State of Israel highlight our uniqueness and God’s continued blessing:
- Israel is one of the only countries entering the 21st century with a net gain in trees. Through reforestation efforts, our deserts have begun to blossom, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy: “The desert and the parched land will be glad … it will burst into bloom…” (Isa. 35:1–2a).
- We have more museums per capita than any nation, reflecting a deep commitment to preserving history and culture.
- Despite our small size (roughly the same as New Jersey), Israel contains some of the most diverse landscapes — from snow-capped Mount Hermon in the north to Eilat’s coral reefs in the south.
- Israel leads the world in recycling wastewater, reusing nearly 90% for agriculture — turning scarcity into sustainability.
Painful Realities

While we celebrate Israel’s independence, we must also acknowledge significant challenges as we continue in a seven-front war: The past year has brought continuing grief, uncertainty, and global scrutiny.
This year’s Memorial Day (the day before Independence Day in Israel) was particularly difficult for me — both because of the many young soldiers who have died and because my own children are preparing to begin their IDF service. Everything hits very close to home. As a mother, I’m grappling with this reality. Thus, I need an even greater reliance on and trust in God.
Despite our trials, Israel demonstrates remarkable resilience. Communities support one another, innovation continues, and daily life persists with determination.
What’s Next For Israel?
Beyond Israel’s re-birth as a nation, God also promised its restoration: “I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them…” (Amos 9:14). In addition, beyond promising Israel’s physical restoration, Ezekiel also prophesied its spiritual rebirth:
“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit in you…” (Ezek. 36:25–27a).
We have much to anticipate. Israel’s rebirth and the rebuilding of Israel is the leading signal for what comes next. The Apostle Paul speaks of this in Romans 11. After the time of bringing gentiles into the fold, Israel’s time will come:
“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved…” (Rom. 11:25–26a).
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Im tirdefu lada-at oto —“Press on to know HIM!” (Hosea 6:3 NLT)
Many blessings from Israel,

Sarah Liberman
P.S. Paul reveals the divine timeline we are living in: “For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” (Rom. 11:15). Here in Israel, we Believers stand on these encouraging words with great expectation and hope.
