FROM JOSHUA & CALEB COLSON,
THE BEARDED BIBLE BROTHERS®
Anti-Semitism is increasing, but not just among the usual culprits. Throughout history, people have blamed Jews for many of the world’s problems, including plagues, catastrophic weather, and the fall of empires. Today, similar outrageous accusations are promoted as fact by the mainstream media. Since many news outlets lean toward a “progressive” or Democratic party agenda, it’s no surprise when they vilify Jews, Israel, Christians, or Republicans.

Recently, however, there’s a new souring of perspectives toward Jews from loyalists who once supported them. A new Protocols of the Elders of Zion* moment has arrived as rogue conservatives lead their followers into an anti- Semitic trance. Many former champions for truth and justice have now turned against the Jewish people.
*The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, written around 1903 by the Russian secret police, notoriously claims to be the secret meeting minutes of a Jewish cabal plotting world domination. Though exposed as a fraud by The Times of London in 1921, it became a cornerstone of Nazi propaganda.
Why the switch? Perhaps these individuals aren’t true Christians. Some who believe they’re right — who may even appear to manifest God’s power — haven’t truly surrendered their hearts to Him. One day they could hear Yeshua’s alarming rejection: “I never knew you; depart from Me…” (Matt. 7:23).
Unfortunately, the spirit of this age has apparently deceived many Believers. The most terrifying deception is when Christians cite Scripture out of context to justify anti-Semitism, declaring that God has rejected Israel and the Jewish people in His covenant plans. But if someone has the indwelling of the Spirit of the God of Israel, how can they hate His people?
Yeshua and His apostles warned that the great apostasy would infiltrate the Church in the Last Days. Paul emphasized, “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron” (1 Tim. 4:1-2). Without the Holy Spirit’s guidance, even the elect can be deceived (Matt. 24:24).

Candace Owens was once a rising conservative voice who worked with Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA and Ben Shapiro’s The Daily Wire. Now she leads attacks against Israel. Owens blames Jews for Hamas’s destruction in Gaza and promotes books like Der Talmudjude (1871), which falsely claims that Jewish people instigated the Black slave trade.
Tucker Carlson represents another subversive shift among conservatives. His about-face against Israel has even liberals confused. Carlson, who openly declares ties with terrorist-funding governments like Qatar, insists that radical Islam isn’t a threat to Americans. Instead, he claims that the true threat is an Israeli Psychological Operations (PsyOps) campaign creating Islamophobia among Westerners.
While we point to human culprits, this calculated assault against Israel is actually Satan at work; the scope, scale, and speed of infection could only come from him. The virus of anti-Semitism is rooted in the spirit of antiChrist. These demon spirits deny the Son and the Father (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7). They also deny the eternal Covenant that God made with the Jewish people and seek their destruction. Such spirits move in murderous hatred through Islam, focusing on annihilating Israel and the Jews along with eradicating Christ-followers.
We believe, however, that Satan has moved too hard too fast — once again overplaying his hand and revealing his cards. His moves today mirror yesterday’s schemes, but now they are re-branded to appear innovative and attractive.
This conflict can’t be won through reason or debate. Instead, today’s battle can only be won by prayer and fasting — by going to war on our knees against the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph. 2:2). When mankind’s heart is distant from God, people will be duped by the counterfeit. Conversely, we Believers who have an active, growing relationship with our Heavenly Father will hear His voice and not be moved by forgeries.

In John 10:27–28, Yeshua describes Himself as the Great Shepherd. He adds: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”
Others, however, aren’t included among Yeshua’s sheep. Consider His admonition to them:
Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me (John 8:43–45).
Ultimately, every person must choose whom he or she will follow: the father of lies or the Father of Truth. As time nears its end, Scripture promises that many will choose the lie and turn against Israel and God’s people.
Zola Levitt Ministries exists to testify to God’s love for His Chosen People, His eternal Covenant with Israel, and the salvation available through faith in God’s Son, Yeshua. For over 47 years, this ministry has stood firm as a watchman on the wall. Even if all others turn away, we will live by the declaration of the old hymn, I Have Decided to Follow Jesus: “Though none go with me, I still will follow.”
We know that we can count on you, our ministry partner, to stand with us. Through your prayers and financial support, you have taken on God’s mantle of love for Israel. Thank you for your continued encouragement as we stand on the front lines of battle.
Love, Joshua and Caleb

FROM SARAH, OUR SABRA
ON THE GROUND IN ISRAEL
Dear Friend,
Shalom from Israel. When the Gaza War effectively ended with the October 10, 2025 ceasefire, Israelis expected global anti-Semitism to subside. Most Jews throughout the world also hoped the same. Instead, they’ve found no peace. Fear persists because hatred doesn’t obey diplomatic agreements.
Hiding in Plain Sight
Many Jewish people have altered their lives for their safety. A recent Washington Post poll found that 42% of American Jews now avoid public displays that identify them as Jewish; in 2022, that number was only 23%. Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, president of the Conference of European Rabbis, described how fear has invaded Jewish life in Europe: “One of the most asked questions since October 7 is if you can take the mezuzah off your door.” Some in his community now wear hats instead of kippot (yarmulkes) and avoid speaking Hebrew publicly. Others tuck Star of David necklaces inside their clothing or leave them at home.
Though these precautions may increase physical safety, they reverberate with spiritual and emotional costs. For many Jews, public identification through attire, language, rituals (like attending synagogue), or social association is a witness: “I am Jewish.” Expressing Jewish identity shouldn’t feel risky.
Grief in the Sun

In October, horror struck a synagogue in England. Attackers drove into pedestrians and stabbed worshippers during a Yom Kippur service at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester. Yet many people don’t understand the psychological aftermath. Synagogues aren’t merely buildings; they’re shelters of belonging. In synagogues, community life is shared, joy is expressed, and children learn who they are. After the attack, some Jews in England began contemplating aliyah (immigrating to Israel).
Many Australians continue to grieve December’s violent attack at Bondi Beach during a Hanukkah celebration. That assault left 15 dead, including elderly adults and young children. While many Australian Jews are now seriously considering aliyah, Jewish people in other countries are wondering, “Could we be next?”
Following the Bondi Beach assault, members of a New York Jewish community purchased 200 units in a Jerusalem apartment complex. Though those Jews aren’t planning to move immediately, they are laying the groundwork for an entire community’s relocation when they must flee from threats in the U.S.
The Fatigue of Vigilance

Many Jews outside of Israel speak of “Jewish tiredness.” This isn’t fatigue of being Jewish. Rather, it’s exhaustion from the concerns about displaying a Jewish identity. It’s the weariness of scanning crowds before entering synagogues or wondering whether to remove Hebrew bumper stickers. (Please see our Pray for Peace bumper sticker.) It’s a worried mother telling her child, “Don’t wear that today.”
We have friends, one family, who moved from Israel to the UK after October 7, 2023. There, they befriended another Israeli family and their son Yoav (named after the commander of David’s army, 2 Sam. 8:16). Yoav asked to change his name to Sam; he no longer wanted to explain his Hebrew name or face persecution because of it. The children in this family regularly experience anti-Semitism from non-Jews — even friends — who make offensive innuendos without thinking. Partly because of this, our friends moved back to Israel. The other family remains in the UK — for now.
Historical Parallels
The caution of today’s Jews echoes that of Jewish people throughout the centuries. Historically, Jews have faced expulsion, coercion, and deadly persecution in many countries. During the Spanish Inquisition, many Jews were forcibly converted. Even so, some secretly maintained their Jewish identity and practices. Therefore, the Hebrew term Anusim (“forced ones”) described Jews who converted outwardly because of persecution but remained Jews inwardly.
The Anusim hid because public Jewishness brought not only prejudice but also social denunciation and state-linked violence. To survive, Jewish families learned concealment strategies. These tactics included coded practices, whispered prayers, Shabbat candles lit behind closed shutters, and Jewish rituals disguised as something else.
Love Your Neighbor
While times have changed, anti-Semitism hasn’t. Today’s public debates about the Middle East have become a cover for old hatreds. Much anti-Semitic activity in the U.S. is tied to opposition to Israel. Many incidents, however, repeat tropes and glorify violence against the Jewish people, and also demonize Jews simply for being Jews.
As a Believer in Yeshua/Jesus, you can show practical solidarity with the Jewish people. For example, if Jews in your city are quietly hiding their identity, ask what might help them feel safer without implying that they might want to disappear. Attend interfaith events. Challenge “jokes” and slurs from people in your sphere of influence; they often don’t recognize the anti-Semitism in them. Teach your children and grandchildren that anti-Semitism isn’t a political hobby; it’s a spiritual sin.
You can offer steadfast friendship to Jewish neighbors, so they don’t have to walk alone with their fears. Also, you can raise awareness in your community about how anti-Zionist rhetoric leads to anti-Semitism, which can turn deadly in a moment.
Ancient Prophecy Fulfilled?
God spoke to the Jewish people about the time we’re living in today. Through the Prophet Jeremiah, God promises:
“However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where He had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors. “But now I will send for many fishermen,” declares the Lord, “and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.” (Jer. 16:14-16, emphasis added)
God tells His people that He will be known as the One who brought them from all corners of the Earth. He will do this first by sending fishermen and then by unleashing hunters. Could we soon be moving into the time where this prophecy is fulfilled — where Jews are driven out by force from all countries and the eschatological timeline kicks into high gear?

Im tirdefu lada-at oto —“Press on to know HIM!” (Hosea 6:3 NLT)
Many blessings from Israel,

Sarah Liberman
P.S. Thank you for supporting and praying for Zola Levitt Ministries as we stand with Israel and the Jewish people, who are “the apple of [God’s] eye” (Zech 2:8).
Standing with Israel
One way you can support Israel is to visit the Land and stand where significant events in the Bible occurred. Tourism is one of Israel’s major industries, but the Gaza War prevented tourists from visiting the Holy Land. Now, however, Believers are returning in droves, not only to experience Yeshua’s land but also to support the Israeli people.
