Life on the ground in Israel

What’s stopping me?

Jeff and I are filming and we are all wanting to be in Israel—Ken, Jerry, everyone. So, I started thinking and praying. What is stopping me? I want to be in Israel to show my support. I have a friend that says it is like having a sick relative. You go to hold their hand and to pray with them. That is exactly how it feels.

Sandra: Do you remember me? 1999? I sent you the book on Josephus! Well, I am thinking the same thing too. Maureen Chambliss (same trip, but now moved from Houston to Mandeville) and I are thinking of coming over. Maybe when there is a cease fire. Or maybe sooner??? I have the bug to go. Marlin and Tom will stay home. We are having breakfast in the morning to talk about it before we head to work. I am the Mayor’s assistant now here and Maureen owns a bed and breakfast. I gave that website because you can find me on it if you need to. My Dad died a month ago, and I was his caregiver. I need to get away. Some women would want Calgon, I want to go back to Israel. But truly, I just want to do a few things, and not the whole country, since I did the two week tour. Honestly, I wish I could bring the soldiers food myself. Do you have any ideas? I am coming to relax, like the Dead Sea spas, some historical sleuthing, but most importantly I want to something adventurous like witnessing and helping the country. Do you have any ideas? Please let me know. I may also stay and coincide with your cruise if it is still on. Are your fall trips on? Please know that I was praying for you and Zola during the time he was ill. I have been so busy – we are still recovering from Hurricane Katrina and I turned the tv on one night and saw him frail and his voice weak and I was in shock. I began praying then. I have prayed that The Lord will carry you and I know He is. I picked up Zola’s book in an airport recently (we flew to Houston the night of Dad’s funeral) and in true fashion, Marlin took it from me and read it himself, so I am just on chapter 3 now that he is done. I loved reading these stories of yours. It’s just want I needed to read right now. I have to go back and finish them, so let me get this off. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Dear Sandra,
Immediately when I heard you had gone, my heart filled with love and prayer for you and Will. Of course, I asked, “why didn’t she ask me to go with her?”; but I understand our heavenly Father calls whom He will. I’m just waiting to see you and to salute you. I’m way past proud of you and your show of your love for His land and His people.
    Shalom,
    Tonette

I keep doing as Zola always said at the end of the program’s to PRAY for the PEACE Of JERUSALEM, I wish I could help in other ways and am very glad you all were there, to share what is really happening over in Israel, I read the Jersalem post and watch there new TV news ” Jerusalem on line”, that way I don’t hear the lies they say on the news in the USA, my heart is bleeding for the people of GOD who ARE ISRAEL and praying for both Jews and Arabs that they may ask Joshua The Messiah ( Jesus Christ ) as Savior and have the TRUE PEACE in the middle east : )

Sandra, you are terrific! Fred and I are so blessed to have met you during our tour with you in June. You were so generous to everyone. You tried so hard to make sure everyone was comfortable. You also tried to share yourself with each and every one of us. With all that you have been through you did an outstanding job! It was also awesome to see how very close you and your son are. What a blessing he must be! We love you very much! Lord willing, we are looking forward to being on the same tour next year. If we don’t see each other before then Shalom, Linda and Fred

I miss Zola on tv. I was very impressed and blessed that you and your son went to Isreal. I have never been, but I have a real heart for Gods people. I pray many times a day for peace, just as Zola said. May God bless them and lead them to a saving knowledge of Yeshua. Blessings and prayers for you trip.

    Sandra, Will, & Friends,

Thanks very much for the photos and account of your trip. Breathtaking to say the least. Glad you’re back safely. I join you in appreciating our leftist media coverage, but don’t despair, I’m sure their attitudes will change once they realize they’re targets, too. It may take a thump or two, or the loss of loved ones, but they’ll figure it out, someday. Remember how many flags were waving on 9-11? Again, thanks for sharing your journey and personal comments. God bless you all and the people of Israel. God bless those in the U.S. and world who know the battle.
