 - 07:41 So, I was staying with friends of friends of friends of

 - 08:03 Then eventually, I go back home to New Zealand
 - 08:06 and I saw one of Chaim's videos, and I thought,
 - 08:10 "Hmm, that place looks familiar."
 - 08:12 So, I started looking into it, doing some research, and then I
 - 08:16 saw they wanted interns here to do work on the land
 - 08:19 and with the people.
 - 08:21 And I thought, "That sounds really intriguing."
 - 08:24 So, I applied, I got accepted, and I arrived here.
 - 08:27 And sure enough, it was the exact same building that I
 - 08:31 thought was really ugly at the time, and it's been obviously
 - 08:34 transformed in the few months since then.
 - 08:37 David: So, lone soldiers, can you explain who they are?
 - 08:40 Tamara: So, lone soldiers are basically young kids who belong
 - 08:45 to another nation, so they might be from Australia,
 - 08:48 or New Zealand, or the United States,
 - 08:50 anywhere in the world, and they are of Jewish descent,
 - 08:54 and they feel a call to come back to the land of Israel

 - 09:33 That's correct.
 - 09:35 David: I've gotta ask you, how did you find out

 - 09:38 Adrian: I found this place through Volunteer Israel.
 - 09:39 It's an Israeli government organization that brings foreign
