Shalom, mishpacha (family).

In many churches and Messianic synagogues today, Believers are “cherry-picking” Scripture — accepting some passages as truth while dismissing other passages as fairytales or mistranslations. We two brothers, however, declare that the whole Bible is the complete, unaltered, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. To us, it’s all or nothing! How can one trust their eternal salvation to a partially accurate text? Yet for Christians who haven’t experienced miracles, healings, or spiritual gifts, and who don’t accept God’s literal Creation of the Earth in seven days, taking a leap of faith can seem unreasonable.
Another Biblical truth that requires acceptance by faith is the existence of Nephilim and other supernatural beings like fallen angels, demons, and evil spirits. Though a missionary trip to many third-world countries will quickly verify such evil through visual manifestations, many Western Christians still believe that demon possession is a thing of the past.
One reason God led us to produce our current series, Return of the Nephilim, is to expose Satan’s agenda at biogenetic tampering with mankind’s DNA, as Genesis 6:4 explains. These fallen angel improprieties resulted in the perverse monstrosities known as the Nephilim. By understanding Satan’s insidious plotting, you can apply this knowledge to your daily spiritual walk and take action.
Our enemy frequently casts seeds of doubt on the authority that Believers in Messiah possess. If we Christians not only understood the existence and classification of demonic spirits but also utilized our spiritual weapons of warfare, Satan wouldn’t stand a chance in his nefarious deception.
Luke 4:40–41 declares, “At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them. Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, ‘You are the Son of God!…”
The B’rit Hadasha (New Testament) offers many examples of Yeshua confronting “evil spirits” (daimonions in Greek) and healing people tormented by these dark forces. Such miracles fulfilled His promise to free the captives (Isa. 61:1; see also Luke 4:18). Freeing mankind from Satan’s minions was so important to our Messiah that He included it in His Great Commission:
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature… In My name they will cast out demons…’” (Mark 16:15, 17).
How many congregations today actively expel demons or offer deliverance ministry to those in bondage? If Believers aren’t being set free from demonic enslavement, those spirits are still hanging around them. Before you doubt that Believers can be subject to such spirits, however, consider the many pastors and laity who have been exposed recently for sins and addictions that they cannot break free from under their own power alone.
Sexual sins, substance abuse, abuse of church funds, abuse of power, pretending to function in the supernatural, pride, and other sins aren’t just sinful impulses that hold Christians in bondage. Instead, they are the workings of evil spirits living vicariously through human beings.
In the first century world, neither Jews nor others questioned the existence of demons. In fact, Jewish writers chronicled that these evil spirits were the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim that perished in Noah’s Flood, plus the next generation that were annihilated during Joshua’s conquest of Canaan. Without habitation, these spirits wander the Earth seeking rest, often settling in human lives, as Yeshua noted in Matthew 12:43–45.
Unfortunately, many congregations now embrace these evil spirits through denominations that accept homosexuality, believe in aliens, deny God’s healing and deliverance power, or serve mammon.
As Believers in Messiah, we possess Yeshua’s power of attorney to exercise His authority in His Name against these workers of darkness. In addition, God’s spiritual armor (Eph. 6:13–18) is available to us, along with our most powerful and only offensive weapon — the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Living Word of God!
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12).
Sun Tzu, a Chinese general and philosopher who lived in the late sixth century B.C., authored the classic text, The Art of War. One of his notable phrases, “Know thy enemy,” captures the relevance of understanding Satan’s strategies. For centuries, through atheism and false doctrine, Satan has tried to convince the world that he doesn’t exist. Now, he’s unleashed his ultimate counterfeit: extra-terrestrials and UFOs, with people being abducted and tormented by these evil spirits masquerading as beings of light. Christians must stand up in order to aid in their deliverance, speaking Messiah Yeshua’s truth in love.

Please watch and share Return of the Nephilim with your family and friends as we teach and live out these Biblical truths. When we visit demonic high places around the globe, many supernatural catastrophes come upon us and our crew. For instance, at Gilgal Rephaim in northern Israel — the oldest Stonehenge on the planet — the enemy went to great lengths to halt our filming. Yet that episode illustrates God’s supernatural intervention to rescue us and His healing power to restore our crew members when they were harmed.

FROM SARAH, OUR SABRA
ON THE GROUND IN ISRAEL
Dear Friend,
Shalom from the Holy Land. Recently, when our faith community visited an exhibit at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, I had an experience that I never anticipated. “A Voice from the Desert — The Great Isaiah Scroll” opened in February to celebrate the museum’s 60th anniversary. For the first time in nearly six decades, the original Great Isaiah Scroll — one of the most extraordinary archaeological discoveries in history — is displayed in its entirety. The 2,100-year-old manuscript, unseen by the public since 1968, is on exhibition until September 15, 2026. This scroll provides extraordinary evidence for the preservation of Scripture, confirms the antiquity of the Biblical text, and remarkably intersects with the modern restoration of Israel.
The Discovery That Changed Biblical Archaeology
In 1947, a young Bedouin shepherd was searching for a lost goat in the rugged cliffs overlooking the Dead Sea near Qumran. After throwing a stone into a cave, he heard breaking pottery. Inside the cave, he discovered ancient jars containing leather scrolls wrapped in linen. Among the scrolls was the oldest, nearly complete copy of a Biblical book ever discovered — now known as 1QIsaa. Dating to approximately 125–100 B.C., it contains all 66 chapters of Isaiah. Previously, the oldest complete Hebrew manuscripts dated to around A.D. 1000. This scroll, however, was over a thousand years older!
When researchers compared it to the Masoretic Text that is the basis for most modern Old Testament translations, they discovered remarkable consistency. Thus, the scroll became one of the strongest archaeological confirmations of the reliability of Biblical transmission. It represents tangible evidence of God’s Word being preserved through the centuries.
An Ancient Witness to God’s Word and Israel’s Restoration

The shepherd later sold the scrolls to antiquities dealers in Bethlehem. Eventually, Syrian Orthodox Archbishop Mor Athanasius Yeshue Samuel obtained some of the earliest scrolls. In a remarkable “Godincidence” (God coincidence), a Jewish person purchased the Isaiah scroll on November 29, 1947. On that day, the United Nations also approved the Partition Plan for Palestine.
Thus, the ancient manuscript proclaiming God’s promises to Israel passed into Jewish hands on the very day that the UN voted to restore a Jewish homeland after nearly two thousand years of dispersion. Less than six months later, on May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of the State of Israel.
In 1948, Archbishop Samuel took several scrolls to the U.S. In 1954, he advertised them for sale in The Wall Street Journal. Israeli archaeologist Yigael Yadin saw the advertisement and secretly arranged for the Israeli government to purchase them. Afterward, the scrolls were returned to Israel.
A Profound Experience
When our group visited the Israel Museum, we entered a climate-controlled chamber that is necessary for the scroll’s preservation. When I encountered the scroll — stretching about 24 feet long and encased in glass — I felt compelled to find chapter 53. This took time because the scroll is small and there are no chapter markings. To my amazement, I could read it! Except for a few words that we now write differently, the ancient Hebrew text matched that in my modern Hebrew Bible.

Because of the museum’s visitor restrictions, we had to move to an adjacent room that displayed a large copy of the scroll. All of the significant passages in Isaiah were easy to discover. Everyone in our group — all Israeli Jewish Believers in Yeshua as Messiah — easily read the scroll. With great excitement, we began reading aloud all the Messianic prophecies. We may have been some of the first Jewish Believers in modern times to read this 2,000-year-old scroll. Tears filled my eyes because I wasn’t expecting such a profound moment. This was one of the most convincing experiences of God’s faithfulness to His Word.
Faith and Prophecy
Believers have long understood that many of Isaiah’s prophecies point directly to Yeshua. Isaiah 7:14 is one of the most well-known prophecies: “…Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” Isaiah 53 foretells the Suffering Servant, especially verse 5: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” The scroll’s significance is that these Messianic prophecies are contained in a manuscript written long before the New Testament events that they foretold.

Isaiah’s message also looks to Israel’s regathering and renewal. Isaiah 11:11 declares: “…the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people….” Isaiah 43:5 also proclaims: “…I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.” Isaiah 66 speaks of Jerusalem’s future glory and Zion’s restoration. Many of these prophecies have come to pass with the modern return of Jewish people to their ancestral homeland and the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
Though the Book of Isaiah contains many passages about destruction and judgment, it ends with hope. The prophet envisions a future where nations stream to Jerusalem to learn God’s ways. He speaks of a coming Kingdom characterized by justice, peace, and righteousness. The prophet also foresees a world transformed by Messiah’s reign and a renewed creation.
As Believers, we look forward to the fulfillment of these verses at Yeshua’s Second Coming and the establishment of His Kingdom. Thus, the Great Isaiah Scroll is more than an archaeological artifact — it’s a witness to God’s faithfulness in history and Israel’s enduring significance in the Biblical story. The Lord’s voice through Isaiah survived empires, exile, war, and the passage of two millennia. His message remains as relevant today — post-October 7, 2023 — as when it was first written: “Comfort, comfort My people, says your God” (Isa. 40:1).

Im tirdefu lada-at oto —“Press on to know HIM!” (Hosea 6:3 NLT)
Many blessings from Israel,

Sarah Liberman
