Pardon the above billboarding but when we have to change our times it’s sometimes hard to get the news out.
If you have been watching our program at 9 p.m. Sundays, you’ll now have to watch it two hours later at 11 p.m. If you were missing it because you hadn’t gotten home from church in time, you’ll now be home and ready for bed, I’m sure. Or maybe you’ll be asleep altogether, and I wouldn’t blame you.
Please know that I’m sorrier than you are that we’ll have to be on so late now, but Channel 39 has taken away the prime time from Christian programming and we have no other choice. We are not saving money — as a matter of fact, we’ll be paying a third more. And, as you’ll see by the new programming on KXTX, we’re lucky to have stayed on at all. Secular shows with commercials, movies and such have replaced several of the Christian programs. Channel 39 tells me that these changes are necessary for the station to compete in the market.
Please remain faithful to us if you possibly can. The new year will bring some very wonderful new programs on ZOLA LEVITT LIVE, including the four shows we were unable to make during the fall. We’ll try to make up for the late time by giving you things worth waiting up for!
Apart from that piece of news, things are stabilizing wonderfully at this ministry. You fooled me again — just when I thought you’d lost our address the year-end gifts began to arrive. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again! You have pulled us back into the black and we are so grateful. You’ve also given us a head start on meeting the higher airtime bills of 1984. Besides KXTX, the TBN network is also hitting us with a considerable raising of rates. But with your dependable help we’ll keep ZOLA LEVITT LIVE coming. Praise God for all of you — He knows your good works and the angels rejoice!
For those of you who have inquired about our annual Summer Israel Tour and Greek Island Cruise, the dates will be May 28 – June 11. We will offer the land and sea portions of the tour as a package, or you may choose Israel separately. I don’t have final costs as yet but we will accept your reservation now if you wish. Some folks came late last year but we will be strictly limiting the number of passengers. Start thinking about this now, please, and ask for a brochure if you can join us.
