My dear friends,
Last year at this time I wrote a cheery season’s greetings, recommending that you give to other ministries instead of to us. We were doing okay and we felt that we didn’t need to ask you for anything.
I want to stick by that principle this year, except to say that we are in a time of need. Our new series, “The Holy Places,” set us back quite a bit and we’re having our troubles planning for Spring programs. Nevertheless, Christmas is a time for realizing that all true believers are subjects of the same King, and we would urge you to give to those with the greatest needs and the best fruits. There are so many fine works of the Lord going on; do take part where He leads you.
Our television ministry has made simply miraculous progress through this year, despite difficult new airtime changes and higher production costs. We were able to add several new stations, including an outreach to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the New York city metropolitan area. ZOLA LEVITT LIVE is now seen by over one-half million people per week and its potential audience is virtually unlimited.
As to the coming year, we will stick to our three best subjects—Bible, Bible and Bible!
We hope that our efforts through this past year have enriched and blessed your spiritual life. We consider each Christmas to be our birthday, since our first program was a Christmas special in 1978. So now we are three, and we know you rejoice with us.
God bless you all. Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy, happy New Year.
