The Garden Tomb
The Garden Tomb

This site is believed by many to be the place of the Crucifixion and the burial of Jesus Christ. Nearby, a rocky hill resembles a human skull (see next photo).

The site was noticed in 1883 by the British General Charles Gordon. An association was formed to raise money and the land was purchased in 1892 to be preserved.
