- 02:54 And the Lord appeared to Abraham's son, Isaac, "Sojourn

- 03:48 Joshua, for I have given you the mandate.
- 03:52 I've given you the command in the land to lead the children of
- 03:55 Israel into the next stage of their journey," and that was the

- 04:21 It wasn't an enormous tract, but it extended up to the Euphrates,
- 04:25 over to the river of Egypt, to the Mediterranean Sea, on the
- 04:28 one hand, and then out, past what we would
- 04:33 call Jordan today, eastward.
- 04:35 There was a land that, in Bible times, was known and to Bible
- 04:39 readers is known as, in effect, the Promised Land.
- 04:43 Well, that was the biblical vision,
- 04:47 but what's the current division?
