• 00:41 And I'm Kirsten Hart.
• 00:43 Welcome back to our new series, "Watch Therefore"
• 00:47 We're encouraging this generation
• 00:49 to be aware of prophetic fulfillment,
• 00:52 to live expectantly,
• 00:54 and to be ready for Messiah's return.
• 00:56 Dov Schwarz will be teaching on location,
• 00:59 as well as Chaim Malespin.
• 01:01 We will have our weekly Hebrew Lesson,
• 01:03 and Dr. Mark Hitchcock is our Guest Analyst.
• 01:06 Today we will be looking at
• 01:08 the birth pangs that precede Yeshua's return.
• 01:11 Let's go now to Dov Schwarz in Israel.
• 01:20 The Bible teaches that Israel will blossom like a rose,
• 01:25 and fill the world with fruit.
• 01:28 And at that time the earth will shake under the weight of the birth pangs.
• 01:36 In Isaiah 66 beginning in verse 8,
• 01:40 some of the most powerful prophetic
• 01:43 Scriptures in the Word of God.
• 02:10 What does this mean?
• 02:12 Through the earth laboring to physically
• 02:16 from the ashes of the Holocaust
• 02:19 bring to life in one day the Nation of Israel.
• 02:26 " Am Yisrael Chai! " they say in Hebrew,
• 02:29 "The Children of Israel Live!"
• 02:34 And what the Lord is saying here,
• 02:36 Though that labor took place
• 02:39 and the earth is shaking to physically bring them to life,
• 02:43 there needs to be a Spiritual Birth for the Land and People of Israel.
• 02:48 And when He says,
• 02:55 What He's saying is, shall I bring them to the time of physical birth
• 02:59 and not bring them to the time of Spiritual birth?
• 03:02 In Ezekiel 36 the Lord says this,
• 03:13 and they will be born again.
• 03:16 Israel will live not only physically
• 03:20 but Spiritually also.
• 03:22 Yet it's coming through the shaking of the birth pangs.
• 03:27 Messiah Yeshua, "Doctor Jesus", is in the maternity room with Israel
• 03:32 and the Baby will be born.
• 03:35 " Am Yisrael Chai! "
• 03:37 "The Children of Israel will Live!"
• 03:47 Not everybody in Israel is an unbeliever today.
• 03:50 A great many of them are atheist and agnostic,
• 03:54 and that is lined up with the Word,
• 03:56 because one of these days
• 03:58 they are going to look on Him
• 03:59 whom they have pierced, and
• 04:00 they will mourn for Him as one
• 04:02 mourns for an only son.
• 04:03 There has to be believers there to do that,
• 04:06 and so they're being primed,
• 04:08 they're gathering in that Land as unbelievers,
• 04:11 and He's going to show Himself,
• 04:13 and they're going to accept Him,
• 04:15 and when they do
• 04:17 the greatest blessing on the earth is going to break out.
• 04:21 God said in Zechariah 14,
• 04:23 as soon as the Jewish people accept the Messiah,
• 04:26 and say " Baruch haba B'shem Adonai ",
• 04:29 all the cursing in the earth will turn to blessing.
• 04:37 Thank you Gary for that insight.
• 04:39 The goal here on Zola Levitt Ministries is
• 04:41 that all of Israel will be saved,
• 04:43 and we look forward to that time.
• 04:45 And we need to do all we can
• 04:47 as we see the birth pangs
• 04:50 happening in Israel.
• 04:52 Speaking of Israel,
• 04:53 Let's go to Chaim Malespin

• 05:02 We can see the helmet of the Nazi soldier here
• 05:06 in this moving piece of art.
• 05:08 The elderly weeping
• 05:11 as they're on their way to their death.
• 05:13 Whether it's the children,
• 05:15 we know 1.5 million children were killed first.
• 05:18 Whether it's the elderly,
• 05:20 This appears to be the Rabbi of a community
• 05:22 with a Torah Scroll being taken, trying to
• 05:25 bring hope where really there's no hope.
• 05:28 Even pregnant ladies all were
• 05:31 brought to the concentration camp together.
• 05:33 Reminds you of this song
• 05:35 written by two Jewish people.
• 05:37 Hochberg and Arluck,
• 05:39 people who fled from this,
• 05:41 they wrote a song called,
• 05:42 "Somewhere over the Rainbow".
• 05:44 And for these Jewish people,
• 05:46 they couldn't fly away,
• 05:47 they couldn't escape to a Land
• 05:50 that they heard of once in a lullaby, once in a prophecy,
• 05:52 the Promised Land of Israel,
• 05:54 but this moving song which was voted the
• 05:56 number one song in the 20th century,
• 05:58 really is the heart and soul of
• 06:01 the Jewish people to return,
• 06:02 and how amazing is it that there is a
• 06:04 generation today that is returning
• 06:08 to the Land of our forefathers.

• 07:46 I just finished sharing how Israel
• 07:50 will be birthed physically.
• 07:52 Israel's birth pangs.
• 07:55 Could Israel's birth pangs also be the nations of the world's birth pangs?
• 08:02 Messiah Jesus is speaking in Matthew Chapter 24.
• 08:06 He's answering the questions of His disciples,
• 08:09 What will be the sign of your coming,
• 08:10 and the "End of the Age, the "Messianic Age?
• 08:13 When will that be?
• 08:14 What will the signs of that be?
• 08:16 And the Lord talks to them about things like
• 08:18 "wars and rumors of wars",
• 08:19 things that will happen down through the ages
• 08:21 that don't necessarily
• 08:22 have anything to do with the birth pangs
• 08:24 leading up to the birth of Israel
• 08:26 and the return of Messiah Jesus.
• 08:28 But then there's a shift.
• 08:30 There's a shift in Matthew 24 beginning in Verse 7,
• 08:36 You know, really in Greek that says " Ethnos "
• 08:39 "Ethnic" Group will rise up against "Ethnic" Group,
• 08:51 These 4 birth pangs will work in concert together
• 08:56 and be bouncing in the red zone, off the charts,
• 08:59 compared to how they've ever been in history.
• 09:02 And that's what's happening today.
• 09:04 Ethnic Group against Ethnic Group from World War I World, War II and
• 09:08 the Genocides that are taking place all around the earth today.
• 09:12 Right over there, over the Golan Heights in Syria
• 09:16 400,000 Syrians have been killed in civil war
• 09:21 and it's still raging all around the world.
• 09:24 The world is at the edge of World War III today.
• 09:29 Famine - There's more hungry people on this planet than have ever
• 09:32 been in the history of the World.
• 09:35 Diseases - Pestilences that often come from animals,
• 09:38 bird flu, pig flu, HIV, Aides,
• 09:42 Tuberculosis, Malaria and much much more.
• 09:46 The Zika Virus that we're hearing so much about today.
• 09:48 Now the pestilences are like never before.
• 09:51 And Earthquakes.
• 09:52 There's a thing called "The Ring of Fire".
• 09:56 It's an area that starts all the way down in the
• 09:59 South Eastern Asian Islands.
• 10:01 It goes up towards Russia over to Alaska
• 10:04 down the West Coast of the Americas through South America.
• 10:08 And it's shaking the earth today
• 10:10 with such intense earthquakes that it even causes Tsunamis.
• 10:15 Now these are the "Times of the Birth Pangs"
• 10:19 And we know...
• 10:21 we know that this ties in perfectly
• 10:24 with the Earth giving birth naturally to Israel
• 10:30 which will lead to Israel's Spiritual birth.
• 10:32 Oh, like birth pangs it's going to get more
• 10:36 intense and more frequent until the Baby is born.
• 10:47 My wife and I, we travel a lot for our ministry.
• 10:49 Our whole family goes together,
• 10:50 and we were in New York City this Spring,
• 10:53 and we had the chance while we were there to
• 10:55 go to a play.
• 10:57 I has grown up in that region,
• 10:59 my Dad had worked in Manhattan,
• 11:00 so we had been to Broadway before,
• 11:02 but this was the first time in a long time,
• 11:04 and my wife is unbelievable at getting good deals,
• 11:06 so she found this unbelievable deal, front row,
• 11:09 Literally if I put my feet up we would be on the stage,
• 11:11 but we were so close, while we were sitting there, I could see the
• 11:13 gap under the curtain,
• 11:15 and I could see things being moved around,
• 11:17 I could hear furniture being slid,
• 11:18 I could see shadows.
• 11:20 And we knew the stage was being set,
• 11:22 but we didn't know when the curtain was going to rise.
• 11:24 And I feel like that's the way Bible prophecy is in our day and age,
• 11:27 is that as we see geopolitical events unfolding all around us,
• 11:31 there's no question you could say,
• 11:32 Boy, I could sure see how that's setting the stage for what
• 11:35 God's Word says is going to happen in the end times.
• 11:39 It's like God is moving major
• 11:41 chess pieces on His chess board.
• 11:43 He's bringing the nations into place, into position
• 11:47 for the end times.
• 11:48 One of the greatest miracles that I like,
• 11:50 and I gotta say this,
• 11:52 is the regathering of the Nation of Israel.
• 11:54 The reason why I say that is because
• 11:56 as God scattered Israel, He also prophesied in the latter days
• 11:59 that He would bring them back
• 12:01 from the 4 corners of the world
• 12:02 Now the Scriptures say that would be such an
• 12:04 amazing prophecy, the regathering of the Jews,
• 12:08 that it would be greater
• 12:09 than when He parted the Red Sea.
• 12:12 But I believe that He's bringing them back in
• 12:14 preparation for the end times.
• 12:17 And for me, as I see that formation of these nations and
• 12:22 people coming back,
• 12:24 I see that time is at hand.
• 12:26 As an Evangelist, I challenge Christians to reach a dying world.
• 12:32 Time is winding up.
• 12:34 The day is at hand.
• 12:35 The night is coming close,
• 12:37 and we need to be about God's business reaching a lost world.

• 14:32 Now one of the more common words you're
• 14:34 going to hear, here in Israel,
• 14:36 is the word Bevakasha
• 14:38 which means "Please".
• 14:39 So if you're asking for something like,
• 14:41 "Could I have a glass of water, Bevakasha ?
• 14:44 means, "Could I have a glass of water, "please".
• 14:47 But you can also use the word
• 14:49 when you give somebody something.
• 14:51 So let's say you serve them a plate of food,
• 14:53 and you can say Bevakasha ,
• 14:55 which is like, "here you are", or "You're welcome.
• 14:58 Now the word actually means "In Request" Bevakasha .
• 15:03 So when somebody says, May I have something
• 15:06 in request, please,
• 15:08 it's like a word of respect.
• 15:10 So this week,
• 15:11 when you're asking for something,
• 15:13 or when you're offering something to someone
• 15:15 you can say, "Here you go" Bevakasha
• 15:19 Our son Ryan who lives in Jerusalem,
• 15:21 I have a feeling he's learned
• 15:22 about a hand full of Hebrew words,
• 15:24 and I have a feeling this is one of them.
• 15:26 Let's say it together.
• 15:28 Bevakasha
• 15:30 "Please"
• 15:31 It's a good word.
• 15:32 You should always learn
• 15:34 "Please and "Thank you"
• 15:34 Right?
• 15:35 So Bevakasha
• 15:36 Could you hand me your mug Bevakasha ?
• 15:38 Oh, Todah .
• 15:39 Todah Rabah
• 15:40 Bevakasha , our Hebrew word of the day.
• 15:43 Now let's go back to Dove Schwarz in Israel.
• 15:56 Our Messiah Yeshua repeats these things,
• 16:00 The birth pangs and events that lead up to His coming.
• 16:04 There is coming a time of trouble that will
• 16:06 shake the Earth like never before.
• 16:08 The skies will open and Messiah Yeshua will return.
• 16:13 We will have gone up in the Rapture.
• 16:15 We will have glorified bodies
• 16:17 and we will return to rule and to
• 16:19 reign with our Great King Yeshua.
• 16:23 And He warns us to be ready.
• 16:26 He warns us to watch.
• 16:28 And there's a passage in Luke 21 that's so important
• 16:32 and significant to my life.
• 16:33 And I pray it is for you also.
• 16:36 Beginning in Verse 34 He says,
• 16:50 Now, we see this today,
• 16:53 the great temptations of this life that are deceiving so many,
• 16:58 even who profess the Name of Messiah Jesus.
• 17:02 And instead of watching and being ready
• 17:05 they're weighed down with the cares of this life
• 17:09 and even drunkenness and carousing.
• 17:13 And this warning is so serious.
• 17:16 In Verse 35 He says,
• 17:38 These birth pangs, these signs,
• 17:40 the physical birth of Israel in 1 day,
• 17:45 of the Earth shaking under the 4 birth pangs,
• 17:48 Ethnic Group rising up against Ethnic Group,
• 17:52 all the genocides and the wars and the
• 17:55 trouble that's all around the world today
• 17:58 as Ethnic Group against Ethnic Group is the order of this hour.
• 18:04 And the Famine, and the Pestilences,
• 18:07 the Diseases and the Earthquakes.
• 18:09 When I see earthquakes on the news like I'm seeing today,
• 18:12 I'm reminded, I'm "Watching, I'm "Ready,
• 18:16 I'm "Not letting the cares of this life deceive me
• 18:18 and getting weighed down with those things.
• 18:21 I want to live a life in preparation to see this Messiah Yeshua come.
• 18:26 I'm praying for the Jewish people to be saved.
• 18:29 I'm getting the Gospel out in the Nations.
• 18:31 This should be our life.
• 18:33 A life of being a witness during this time of the birth pangs
• 18:38 King Yeshua is coming...
• 18:40 King Yeshua is coming ...
• 18:42 King Yeshua is coming,
• 18:44 and I need to "watch therefore".
• 18:46 You need to "watch therefore".
• 18:48 and be ready!
• 18:56 When Israel comes to fulfill its
• 18:58 destiny when Messiah comes,
• 19:00 He will reign from Jerusalem on a throne
• 19:03 which is connected with the Temple Mount.
• 19:05 We see this in Isaiah Chapter 2, Verses 2-4
• 19:08 That's the culmination of all the great promises,
• 19:11 just as Moses went to Mount Sinai to receive the Law,
• 19:16 and said Israel is to be a Light to the nations,
• 19:18 ultimately to get the revelation to them,
• 19:20 one day Messiah will come on Mount Zion bringing the Law
• 19:24 through Israel to the Gentile nations,
• 19:27 and reigning in that place as well,
• 19:30 so all of these comes full circle with the
• 19:32 prophecies in the Old Testament.
• 19:35 Scripture says, God's says, "I'm God"
• 19:37 "and there's no other God like me"
• 19:38 "I'm God who declares the end at the beginning."
• 19:42 And what I love so much about the Word of God and the end times
• 19:45 is that God has so beautifully given us the end of the story.
• 19:49 I mean, all the way to the end.
• 19:51 I can tell you dogmatically what the end's going to look like,
• 19:53 and I'm not some Psychic,
• 19:57 but I can tell you, based on the Word of God
• 19:59 what the end is going to look like based on Scripture,
• 20:01 God has so beautifully given us the end of the story.
• 20:06 And I challenge people, you need to understand what God is doing.
• 20:09 As you see the news headlines,
• 20:12 you know, many Christians, sad to say, they are
• 20:14 afraid of the times in which we're living in.
• 20:16 Now I will grant we are living in some tough times,
• 20:20 but I'm not moved by the times and the reason why is because
• 20:23 I understand the end of the story.
• 20:33 Dr. Mark Hitchock is our Guest Analyst in this Series.
• 20:37 We are so glad to have you at this table today.
• 20:40 Thank you, good to be here with you.
• 20:42 It's going to be an exciting Series
• 20:43 with so much insight that you're bringing,
• 20:46 and you have written, I can't believe this,
• 20:48 30 books on Prophecy.
• 20:51 Why Prophecy?
• 20:53 Well I think it's important for people
• 20:55 to study prophesy for a lot of reasons.
• 20:57 One thing I have always found interesting is
• 20:59 when Paul visited the Church at Thessalonica.
• 21:03 He was just there a few weeks,
• 21:05 and then he left those believers.
• 21:07 When he wrote back to them,
• 21:08 he wrote back to them as if
• 21:10 they already understood a lot about prophecy.
• 21:12 And he talks about the anti-Christ, the Rapture,
• 21:15 the Day of the Lord,
• 21:16 the removal of the Restrainer.
• 21:18 So you think about that,
• 21:19 Paul was there a few weeks.
• 21:20 These people came out of Paganism
• 21:22 to Jesus Christ, the Messiah,
• 21:24 and yet, he taught them prophecy.
• 21:26 We would say today, whatever you do,
• 21:27 don't tell a new believer about prophecy,
• 21:29 don't burden them with all of that,
• 21:31 teach them about other stuff first,
• 21:32 but that was part of what Paul taught them right up front.
• 21:35 I always found that fascinating.
• 21:37 You can go to most churches today and
• 21:39 be there for years and never hear those things taught.
• 21:42 So I think we have a biblical example of why it's important.
• 21:46 Paul wanted these believers to understand
• 21:48 what was going on in their times.
• 21:49 There's something called the "Law of Proportion" in the Bible.
• 21:53 Just the amount of material that's dedicated to prophecy
• 21:59 demands that we study it.
• 22:01 Almost 30 per cent of the Bible is prophecy at the time it was written,
• 22:03 so the Law of Proportions,
• 22:05 just the sheer volume of information in the Scriptures about Prophecy,
• 22:09 would say this is something you need to study.
• 22:11 I think another really important reason for me
• 22:13 is it really shows us that God is in control,
• 22:16 that God has written about what's going to happen,
• 22:18 the nations, and kingdoms,
• 22:20 and of course many of those prophecies have already been fulfilled.
• 22:23 But it's always a comfort to me,
• 22:25 if God is going to tell what's going to happen to entire
• 22:27 nations, and kingdoms, and civilizations,
• 22:29 surely He can handle my life and the daily problems that I have.
• 22:33 So it just shows us that God is in
• 22:34 control of everything that's happening.
• 22:37 I think that's very important for us.
• 22:39 And it proves the Bible is true.
• 22:41 And I think the greatest proof that we have an apologetic
• 22:44 that the Bible is the Word of God, is prophecy,
• 22:47 the fulfilled prophecies
• 22:49 that were fulfilled 100 per cent accurately,
• 22:51 100 percent of the time,
• 22:52 500 of them.
• 22:54 But there were 500 prophecies that haven't been fulfilled yet.
• 22:57 So we can know that the ones that haven't been fulfilled...
• 23:00 500!
• 23:01 Yeah, 500 fulfilled, 500 unfulfilled.
• 23:03 But the Bible has a proven track record.
• 23:06 Right!
• 23:07 We don't have to take this face value.
• 23:08 People say, well just take it by faith.
• 23:10 There are hundreds of prophesies that have been fulfilled.
• 23:12 In fact there were 33 prophesies fulfilled
• 23:15 in the last 24 hours of Jesus' life on earth.
• 23:18 And I think its interesting why some pastors back off of
• 23:22 teaching the prophetic is because
• 23:24 there have been so many that have called out
• 23:26 and said, well I believe it's going to happen now.
• 23:29 How do we filter that out?
• 23:33 I think there have been a lot of people
• 23:35 that have said a lot of things
• 23:36 that are incorrect about other areas of Bible doctrine,
• 23:38 and we don't say, well I'm never going to talk about that.
• 23:41 We just simply say, look, that's wrong and that's not what we do.
• 23:44 But then we teach people what's correct.
• 23:46 When Paul wrote to the Thessalonians back in II Thessalonians,
• 23:50 people were saying the "Day of the Lord" had already come,
• 23:52 that they were already in the tribulation,
• 23:54 and Paul wrote to correct that.
• 23:56 So he didn't say, there's a lot of people out there saying crazy things,
• 23:58 let's just not talk about it,
• 23:59 he corrected that.
• 24:01 So correct the wrong things,
• 24:02 and try to instruct on the right things.
• 24:04 And our title of our Series is called "Watch Therefore"
• 24:10 So we are instructed by Yeshua, Jesus Himself, to watch.
• 24:16 I think that's important isn't it?
• 24:17 Well, it is.
• 24:18 A lot of Christians, people who know the Lord,
• 24:21 they're waiting for Jesus to come.
• 24:22 There's a difference I think between waiting and watching.
• 24:25 Everyone's waiting, but are we really watching?
• 24:27 I think when you're watching it means that you think about it.
• 24:30 If you're watching for someone to come,
• 24:33 a relative to arrive,
• 24:34 you're thinking about that and you're anticipating it.
• 24:37 And so I think if we're really watching for the Lord's coming
• 24:40 we're going to think about it often,
• 24:42 and we're going to be anticipating it.
• 24:43 And we're going to be welcoming it,
• 24:45 and desiring for Him to come,
• 24:46 and praying as the Apostle John did at the end of Revelation,
• 24:49 "Even so, come Lord Jesus."
• 24:51 That's a good word.
• 24:52 Love your insight today, thank you so much.
• 24:54 Thank you.
• 24:55 Right now, let's go to a Zola song.
