• 00:31 This is Kirsten Hart.
• 00:32 Welcome to Zola Levitt Presents.
• 00:34 We are so glad to be bringing you this program today
• 00:37 from the beautiful City of Jerusalem
• 00:39 where we feel like we're home.
• 00:42 Today we will review the program in 2017.
• 00:46 A lot has happened this past year.
• 00:49 We've come on board,
• 00:50 but also we said goodbye to Myles and Katharine Weiss.
• 00:54 They were the hosts of Zola Levitt Presents for over five years,
• 00:59 and now they're back in San Francisco with their congregation,
• 01:02 and they're doing great things spreading God's Word.
• 01:06 I think some of you may be surprised
• 01:08 that two Gentiles have taken over.
• 01:10 Well, we were surprised also
• 01:11 but we know that God put us in this position
• 01:15 for such a time as this.
• 01:17 What has not changed is the initial message
• 01:20 that Zola Levitt started years ago.
• 01:23 We will always continue to bring Christianity through Jewish eyes,
• 01:28 and we will also continue to bring
• 01:30 some of the best Messianic teachers in the world,
• 01:33 and Messianic teachers from here right in Israel.
• 01:36 This year started with the series, "Joseph the Redeemer" where
• 01:40 Joseph started with humble beginnings
• 01:42 and became a great leader.
• 01:44 Let's go and see some of those excerpts now.

• 02:15 from certain death to abundant life,
• 02:18 Joseph, the Patriarch
• 02:21 who pictures Messiah.

• 03:19 Stripped of his robe Joseph laid at the bottom of an empty water cistern,
• 03:23 beaten and bruised.
• 03:25 Katharine and I descended the steps of a similar cistern in Jerusalem
• 03:28 where we experienced first hand
• 03:30 the loneliness of a pit well below ground level.
• 03:36 We're here in the traditional spot
• 03:38 of where Jesus was kept the night he was betrayed,
• 03:41 the night before he went to the cross.
• 03:43 We're in the pit Myles.
• 03:45 Yeah, just as Joseph was in the pit,
• 03:47 a picture of the bigger pit to come
• 03:49 which was the death of Yeshua on the cross.

• 06:37 "Close Encounters with Yeshua"

• 06:50 It wasn't long ago our first encounter
• 06:52 on the waters of the Galilee.
• 06:53 My hand is completely restored.
• 06:56 He said, Your faith has saved you.
• 06:59 I've heard Yeshua speak in our synagogue.
• 07:03 He talked about the Kingdom of God.
• 07:06 Then he showed us his wounds on his hands and feet.
• 07:09 I believe he really is a King.
• 07:26 ...saying, I was there,
• 07:28 you remember when the catching of the fish?
• 07:30 I was there when the blind was healed,
• 07:33 and they were building the story,
• 07:36 their memories and their experience,
• 07:38 and their beliefs.
• 07:40 That was very encouraging
• 07:42 to meet this Catholic Priest
• 07:43 and to see that he is a born again believer,
• 07:46 in the Church, but he is a born again believer
• 07:49 with real fellowship and preaching the Gospel.
• 07:52 It was so encouraging to spend time with him.
• 08:03 I am told that the words of the prophet Isaiah
• 08:05 were read today in our synagogue.
• 08:07 [Reading in Hebrew]
• 08:30 Apparently it was read perfectly by Yeshua ben Yosef .
• 08:35 I've known Yosef for years.
• 08:38 He's a simple carpenter,
• 08:40 and his son Yeshua seems to be a fine man
• 08:44 blessed with special wisdom.
• 08:49 Reports are that Yeshua had a remarkable
• 08:52 immersion in the river Jordan recently,
• 08:55 where the heavens opened up and the
• 08:58 very voice of Adonai was heard.
• 09:02 After his reading, Yeshua proclaimed
• 09:05 that the words of Isaiah had been fulfilled.
• 09:11 Good news for the poor,
• 09:13 the imprisoned,
• 09:15 the blind.
• 09:19 I want to believe it.
• 09:21 I really do.
• 09:23 But here in Nazareth,
• 09:25 we need to see it first.
• 09:28 Then, we believe.

• 11:23 In Matthew Chapter 24 it's talking about
• 11:25 all the signs that will come
• 11:27 before the Lord Jesus returns to the earth,
• 11:29 and Jesus gives out this long list of signs.
• 11:32 I always think it's interesting
• 11:33 when people say we shouldn't be looking for signs,
• 11:35 but when Jesus' disciples said,
• 11:37 What will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?
• 11:38 he didn't say, Well don't worry about it,
• 11:40 he gave this long litany of signs.
• 11:41 I had to search hard to see if there's
• 11:43 any possible sign that isn't converging right now,
• 11:45 and I haven't found one yet.
• 11:47 For instance,
• 11:48 Russia's involved in a major invasion of Israel
• 11:51 in Ezekiel 38 and 39
• 11:53 that includes Iran and Turkey.
• 11:54 The relationship Russia is building with Iran and Turkey
• 11:57 are stronger than ever and Iran and Turkey are adverse to Israel.
• 12:02 Israel and America are not two,
• 12:05 Israel and America are one.
• 12:07 We have the same God, the same Bible,
• 12:09 Messiah is a Jew from Israel,
• 12:11 and all the greatness of America comes from its Christianity.
• 12:15 I'm a Jew, and I'm saying
• 12:16 all of America's greatness comes from its Christianity.
• 12:19 I've said this I think on Zola Levitt programs,
• 12:22 whether it was with Zola, rest in peace,
• 12:24 or Sandra, or Jeffrey, or you,
• 12:27 is that America without Christianity is nothing.
• 12:32 I consider Jesus' Olivet Discourse
• 12:34 the most important prophecy in the whole Bible,
• 12:37 because He's the Creator,
• 12:39 He knows everything,
• 12:40 and He knows the end from the beginning.
• 12:42 He says,
• 13:11 To me, it's thrilling to see how close we are.
• 13:15 Myles- The name Allah comes from one of the
• 13:17 many gods that was worshipped in the desert.
• 13:19 Used the name of the moon god,
• 13:20 in fact, the crescent and the star that you
• 13:23 see throughout the symbolism of Islam
• 13:26 has a great connection to the Baal worship of history
• 13:30 to the worship of the mother,son cult,
• 13:33 to the worship of that which is not of Jehovah,
• 13:37 the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.
• 13:39 They are different.
• 13:41 Islamic State under al-Baghdadi
• 13:45 has a desire to set up a caliphate world wide kingdom.
• 13:49 Calls himself, self-appointed Caliph the spiritual leader.
• 13:54 He's doing everything, and the man is brilliant,
• 13:56 strategy is his number one expertise.
• 14:00 They are capturing Christians in the area where they're in control.
• 14:05 They're beheading the adults,
• 14:08 They're burning the children alive.
• 14:10 Anybody that does something as horrific, barbaric as that,
• 14:15 you've got to realize
• 14:16 it's a force to be dealt with,
• 14:18 and nobody's dealing with it.
• 14:21 Times of the Signs was all about
• 14:23 Bible Prophesy that's coming true
• 14:26 right here in the Holy Land.
• 14:28 We are on the Mount of Olives
• 14:30 where Yeshua- Jesus ascended
• 14:33 and one day will also come back again.
• 14:36 Zola Levitt was passionate about prophecy
• 14:39 and we are too.

• 15:23 that sets this program apart.
• 15:26 So, this is who has done all that,
• 15:29 and it's wonderful.

• 15:46 I go back to this Jewish-Christian element for those
• 15:50 who wonder at home, well why are you doing this Christian element?
• 15:54 It was here from the very beginning,
• 15:56 with Dr. Tom McCall,
• 15:58 Sandra Levitt comes in,
• 15:59 I myself a Christian.
• 16:01 You know, we're all learning together.
• 16:04 You look at the Gospels for instance,
• 16:07 it's all the same story about Yeshua.
• 16:09 But, you've got Matthew, Mark, Luke, John,
• 16:12 all these different aspects, different
• 16:14 perspectives of who this Messiah was.
• 16:17 So that's what we're doing,
• 16:18 we're taking different elements,
• 16:20 we will continue to have this Messianic teaching
• 16:22 from those in Israel who...
• 16:24 And that's our passion also.
• 16:26 Yeah
• 16:27 We love it, it's so rich.
• 16:28 I mean we are learning so much.
• 16:30 And our eyes have been opened so much more.
• 16:32 I come from a background like you did,
• 16:34 as a pastor's son.
• 16:36 And we thought we knew it all about the Bible.
• 16:38 Even as we learn,
• 16:40 and we are dedicated right now to this program,
• 16:43 and learning more about Zola Levitt,
• 16:45 and how he taught,
• 16:46 but our eyes have been opened
• 16:48 and we love the teaching and the experience.
• 16:50 Once you get a taste of it,
• 16:51 at least for myself,
• 16:52 you just want to know more,
• 16:54 you want to know more,
• 16:55 because the New Testament takes on such new life
• 16:57 when you understand the types and shadows
• 17:00 of Yeshua in the Old Testament.
• 17:03 And so I'm learning to this very day.
• 17:06 So, the Messianic element will continue on this program
• 17:10 perhaps even more so.
• 17:12 We're going to a little bit more of a Magazine format
• 17:16 to include multiple Messianic teachers,
• 17:19 but all Yeshua, again, is always the center of what we are doing.
• 17:23 Right, great people who will be teaching.
• 17:25 Absolutely!
• 17:26 We're excited to meet them,
• 17:27 and to hang with them in Israel,
• 17:28 and it's going to be great.
• 17:29 Absolutely, Yeah.

• 17:35 In the middle of August we were excited to
• 17:36 bring you the new format
• 17:38 that's kind of in a Magazine style.

• 17:45 that our Founder, Zola Levitt started almost 40 years ago.
• 17:49 We will continue to the best Messianic teachers in the world,
• 17:54 and Messianic teachers from here in Israel.

• 18:49 And know let's go to Eitan Shiskoff
• 18:52 with some excerpts from "Called Together"
• 19:10 One of the things I love about living in Israel
• 19:12 is the fresh fruits and vegetables.
• 19:14 They don't have to be brought from across a continent,
• 19:17 there just right here, brought fresh from the fields.
• 19:20 The prophets of Israel actually saw this.
• 19:23 Isaiah said that the desert would bloom like a rose.
• 19:26 The fruitfulness of our fields was predicted by Ezekiel.
• 19:30 This is a time of the return of the Jewish people,
• 19:33 the restoration of our country,
• 19:35 and the redemption which is going to be shown
• 19:37 ultimately to all of Israel in the person of Jesus, Yeshua, the Messiah
• 19:42 I'm so impressed with the fact that Isaiah
• 19:45 as a prophet saw these times 2,700 years ago.
• 19:50 And we have to understand something when we're talking
• 19:52 about Isaiah's revelation about the nations.
• 19:55 In his time, there was no such thing as a righteous Gentile.
• 19:59 The Gentile nations were pagans
• 20:01 and Israel, the Jewish people were supposed to stay away from them.
• 20:04 But Isaiah saw a time when the salvation of Israel would go out
• 20:09 to all the nations and they would be included in the plan of God.
• 20:16 Here we are in Judea and Samaria,
• 20:18 or as some refer to it, "The West Bank",
• 20:20 the disputed territories of Israel.
• 20:22 I want to tell you a story.
• 20:24 In 1922 a Danish archaeologist
• 20:26 left Denmark with a shovel, a compass and a Bible.
• 20:29 He wanted to know the truth of the Bible
• 20:31 as it relates to this area in the Heartland of Israel.
• 20:35 And do you know what he discovered?
• 20:36 Tel Shiloh,
• 20:38 exactly the same place that we read about that Hannah took her son.
• 20:41 After she was barren, she had a son named Samuel.
• 20:45 He heard God here.
• 20:47 We see the whole story of the Ark of the Covenant to be true.
• 20:58 So Pinchas, you made Aliyah from the United States?
• 21:03 Yes, one of my major influences in making that decision was
• 21:07 the fact that this is our homeland,
• 21:09 this is where all of our history takes place,
• 21:12 all the stories from the Bible,
• 21:14 this is where everything happened.
• 21:16 Now to Jerusalem and our Hebrew Lesson with Diana.
• 21:19 Right behind me there is Mount Moriah,
• 21:22 In Hebrew you would say More-ee-ah
• 21:24 where we all know that Abraham brought
• 21:27 his son here to be sacrificed to God.
• 21:30 I poured that oil in her palm and
• 21:31 then I touched the oil with my finger,
• 21:34 and at the moment that I touched that oil,
• 21:36 the Lord began to speak to me and,
• 21:38 this is what he said, approximately,
• 21:40 he said, Eitan, at the moment that the Gentile believers
• 21:44 are secure in their identity and not
• 21:46 trying to pretend that they are Jews,
• 21:48 and the moment that you, as a Messianic Jew,
• 21:50 are secure in your identity,
• 21:52 and you're free to have fellowship together with Gentiles,
• 21:56 at that point, the olive oil will flow,
• 22:00 the anointing will flow.
• 22:01 Eitan brought an important message,
• 22:04 the message that the Jewish believers and the Gentile Church,
• 22:08 need to work together just like king Solomon and king Hiram,
• 22:12 who built the original Temple.
• 22:15 We are grafted in,
• 22:17 we Gentile believers are grafted in to the olive tree,
• 22:21 and we need to work together with our brothers and sisters,
• 22:24 and in doing so we fulfill prophecy.
• 22:27 Also, Dr. Jeffrey Seif who is our former host
• 22:30 had brought us some great teaching in the
• 22:33 series "Esther, for Such a Time as This"
• 22:36 which first aired in 2010.
• 22:38 So let's go there now.
• 23:49 If I perish, I perish.
• 23:52 It's more than just a line in literature.
• 23:55 Some do perish in the course of making a spirited defense
• 23:59 for the ancestral homeland, for the people.
• 24:02 This fellow's name was Avraham Schmuel,
• 24:06 died here, aged 17.
• 24:11 This fellow here, Yehuda Lev,
• 24:14 19 years of age.
• 24:51 It's a story about a woman, Esther,
• 24:53 whose come into her own for such a time as this.
• 24:58 And this Esther is, in affect, going to
• 25:00 stand as the savior of the Jewish people,
• 25:03 for, when the forces of hell are bent on their demise,
• 25:07 Esther is there to take a stand, and stand she does.
