Dear Friends,
God is so good.
We were a little discouraged around here last week and then the ratings came in.
Arbitron, the research organization which figures the audience, size for the various television programs, sent us some very good news! I had promised on our very first program that we would one day compete successfully with secular television. Well, the fact is, by the grace of God, we are doing that. The ratings show that ZOLA LEVITT LIVE now attracts a larger audience than several of the secular shows and a far larger audience than most of the other Christian programs.
Please understand that we feel thankful for what we regard as a true miracle. Our staff is very small, our support very modest and we have very little “clout” in the vast world of huge ministries. But God has seen fit to honor our efforts and for that, we are grateful.
The ratings do not reflect the entire nation since there are no cable system ratings services. The sampling is for the Dallas/Ft. Worth market, but it probably reflects what is going on everywhere.
Thank you so much for consistently watching ZOLA LEVITT LIVE. We will continue to try to live up to your loyalty.
I also want to thank you for your wonderful and speedy response to my recent note about our debts. The gifts were timely and very welcome, though in truth, we’re still a little short. We simply must make two new Passover programs this month while paying off our old and new bills.
The situation with money these days isn’t your fault or our fault, but I’m afraid it affects us both. As we try to make new television programs, we simply have to pay much higher costs and much higher air time rates. That’s how it is at the grocery store and that’s how it is in the ministry.
So I need to ask you one more time to please respond to our present need. We have temporarily fallen behind due to the high costs involved with “The Holy Places” series and we must catch up before we can produce new programs.
Frankly, you can slack off in your giving to us after April 1. By that time I expect we’ll be out of the woods. The time to give is now, if you possibly can.
Thanks again, and be watching for the new Passover programs in your area.
Your messenger,
