Dear Friends of ZOLA LEVITT LIVE,
We’re still “on hold.” CBN’s final decision on continuing to carry our programs will be made official April 5. We have already informed them that we are unable to pay the new airtime rates.
The lines of communication are open between this ministry and CBN and it is still my fervent hope that something will work out before the deadline. Conceivably God has a plan that none of as yet can foresee to keep oua shows on the network.
In the meantime we have not been idle. We have purchased airtime at very reasonable rates on two other smaller networks and several broadcast stations. The program will reach out to somewhat fewer people than it would on CBN but perhaps these are the ones God wants as to reach right now.
Thank you for all of your kind gifts in the past month which made this new outreach possible. And thank you, too, for bearing with our reruns while we reconstruct the broadcast situation.
I am deeply grateful to see how much you really do care about our ministry. I did not have the occasion in the past to experience a true crisis situation and so I did not have the opportunity to see the Christian soldiers come to our rescue. For that alone these difficult times are more than bearable; they are a blessing.
I hesitate to just keep on asking you for money but in all candor we could use still more. If God leads you to send a contribution to ZOLA LEVITT LIVE, this is the time for it. The more funds we gather for airtime, the more people will see the show and that’s the long and short of it.
Also, If CBN is able to somehow make their new rate negotiable I am hoping that we’ll have the means to negotiate with them. There is nothing better nor more efficient than satellite telecasting if only we can pay for it.
Enough of all that. We have more pleasant subjects to talk about. The rerun season coming up will provide some very good viewing for you. One nice thing about reruns is that we’re already aware of how each show was received the first time. You, as the audience, have shown very definite preferences and we now have enough collected tapes to give you a zinger of a program each and every week. You will now be receiving nothing but winners—the “Chef’s Suggestion” every time. I do urge you to catch up on the programs you may have missed and to review those on teaching and prophecy.
Reruns become exceptionally interesting when the subject is biblical prophecy. Our expert guests and the host himself have occasionally made predictions on past shows concerning political situations and the general development of the signs of the end. Sometimes when those shows rerun some very surprising vindications come forth; events have justified the prophetic discussions. To my knowledge we have never made a statement of prophecy on ZOLA LEVITT LIVE that has proven erroneous in the. long run.
Again, thank you for your help. I seriously doubt if any Christian television program on any network has so faithful a family of supporters. Many of you told me to “hang in there” and not be pessimistic about our present circumstances. Well I’m not pessimistic. If CBN won’t keep us on then somebody else will. With friends like you and the sovereignty of God, I feel peace and confidence.
Your messenger,
