Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday said he is ready to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu under the aegis of US President Donald Trump, without mentioning preconditions.

“We affirmed to [Trump] that we are ready to cooperate with him and meet the Israeli prime minister under his auspices in order to make peace,” Abbas told a joint press conference with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Ramallah. He did not refer to preconditions to meet Netanyahu such as a settlement freeze or a prisoner release.

This is the second time in the past month that Abbas has said he is prepared to meet Netanyahu, without stating preconditions. He told the Japanese daily Ashai Shimbun in late April that he is “ready to meet the prime minister of Israel any time in Washington under the patronage of President Trump.”

Nabil Sha’ath, Abbas’s foreign policy adviser, declined to comment on Tuesday on whether a construction freeze is necessary for the renewal of peace talks. “We will have to discuss that issue in future meetings with the Trump administration,” he said.

Trump is slated to visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority on May 22 and 23 to meet with Netanyahu and Abbas.

In the press conference with the German president, Abbas also said that he told Trump that he is committed to “working in complete partnership to fight terrorism and extremism in the region and world.”

Trump said at a White House press conference with Abbas last Wednesday that “we must continue our partnership with the Palestinian security forces to counter and defeat terrorism.”

The precise nature of security cooperation between the US and PA security forces regionally and internationally is largely unknown.

Steinmeier, who was visiting Ramallah for the first time as president, said there is no solution other than the two-state paradigm.

He also said that he is committed to helping the PA build government institutions and improve the standard of living, especially in Area C of the West Bank.

Area C comprises approximately 60% of the West Bank, which, per the Oslo Accords, is under Israeli administrative and security control.

Steinmeier is the second top German official to visit Israel and the PA territories in the last month. German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel came to Jerusalem and Ramallah in late April as part of a regional tour.

Your Tax Dollar and Funding Palestinian Terrorism

By: Jonathan Feldstein; townhall.com

On March 8, 2016, American Taylor Force was murdered along the Tel Aviv beach.  Bashar Masalha stabbed Force and wounded 12 others, including a pregnant woman.  Sadly, Force was not the first, and will likely not be the last American victim of Palestinian Arab terror.

More sadly, and shocking, your US tax dollars indirectly motivate, and fund, such acts of terror against Americans, Israelis and others. As Palestinian Authority President Abbas meets with President Trump this week, it’s important to highlight a perversion of the US-PA relationship.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) incites and supports violence and terror. It also pays monthly stipends for families of “martyrs,” terrorists killed while attempting to murder others, and “salaries” to terrorists that are caught and imprisoned. While its nonsense that poverty motivates terror since there’s poverty worldwide but none with the culture of murder and “martyrdom” like the PA, providing such a stipend for one to go on a murderous terror spree is certainly an added perk.

Imprisoned terrorists’ “salaries” can range from $364 to $3,120 a month, increasing with the length of the prison term. A stipend to the family of a married civilian “martyr” with two kids starts at about $2500 a year.  The PA allocates more than $303 million (in 2016) for this, representing about 7% of its annual budget.

Here’s the thing, however.  Rather than generating income to pay for a budget to operate the Palestinian Authority and its terror network through taxes on building, investing, and creating, most of the PA’s annual budget is paid for by other countries. The US alone provides the PA with $300 million annually.  At that rate, every American is actually underwriting a “terror tax” of almost $1 each.  Therefore, at least indirectly, all Americans are paying the families of murderers of US citizens and others, encouraging more terrorism and death. With the official PA news agency celebrating and reinforcing the perversion that Palestinian terrorists are heroes, they inspire kids to grow up and become murderers.

Now, a group of US senators are proposing the Taylor Force Act which would restrict funds “available for assistance for the West Bank and Gaza” unless the president affirms that the PA is “taking credible steps to end acts of violence against Israeli citizens” and that it “terminated payments for acts of terrorism against Israeli citizens.”

It’s possible that cutting off funding could destabilize the PA and eliminate meaningful projects that actually benefit Palestinians without harming others.  It’s not in Israel’s interest to see anarchy and infighting that may spill over into Israel, creating more bloodshed. But if the alternative is continued US funding of Palestinian terrorism and incitement, the Taylor Force Act certainly has merit.

Perhaps with a financial carrot and stick, the PA might actually make changes from celebrating their terrorists as national heroes, paying them and their families, and inspiring others to do so as well.  Perhaps.  Financial incentives have worked with other countries.  Maybe this will work.  It’s certainly a step in the right direction.

In addition to the Taylor Force Act, there’s also the Koby Mandell Act.  Named for 13 year old Koby Mandell, an American-Israeli who was murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists 16 years ago this week.  The Koby Mandell Act directs the Department of Justice to “undertake steps to ensure that all American citizens harmed by terrorism overseas receive equal treatment by the US government regardless of the terrorists’ country of origin or residence, and to ensure that all terrorists involved in such attacks are pursued, prosecuted, and punished with equal vigor, regardless of the terrorists’ country of origin or residence.”  Recently, the US government requested the extradition of a Palestinian terrorist in Jordan. In another case, the US has sought to bring charges against the murderers of Kristine Luken, an American Christian murdered by Palestinian terrorists, who have already been tried and convicted in Israel.

The wheels of justice are slow, but supporting efforts like the Taylor Force Act today, and the Koby Mandell Act of 2001, provide momentum, and teeth, to make that happen.

While the family of the murderer of Taylor Force continues to receive a stipend from the PA, that’s not so with the murderers of Koby Mandell, and his friend Yosef Ishran.  They escaped, and have never been found or brought to justice.  Presumably, they are anonymous and get no stipend from the PA.

In the year following his murder, Koby’s parents, Rabbi Seth and Sherri Mandell, established the Koby Mandell Foundation (KMF).  They turned their pain and grief into something inspiring that continues to help other families like theirs who have lost someone due to terror or other tragedy.

The paradox is vivid.  The Palestinian Authority provides an annual stipend for families of “martyred” terrorists, and incredible organizations like the Koby Mandell Foundation that provide healing and comfort to the victims of these terrorists spend all year raising money to provide support for families of these terrorists’ victims.

KMF programs like the year-round Camp Koby for bereaved children, and the Women’s Healing Program, connect family members of terror victims, and provide an array of therapeutic healing in an environment of unrestricted caring and love, in which these survivors can express themselves openly, verbally, just with a hug, or in absolute silence, among others who understand intuitively and completely.

In memory of Kristine Luken, another American murdered by terrorists, KMF has established a scholarship fund, to enable more bereaved Israeli kids to benefit from these invaluable programs.  Other scholarships are needed as it costs $2000 to fund one child for a year of Camp Koby activities, as the programs are all free, and no government support is received.

It’s outrageous that a family of a terrorist gets more money than it costs to provide one scholarship for the family of a terror victim.  Regardless of, or maybe specifically because US tax dollars fund PA terrorists, you can support Camp Koby’s healing programs and make a positive difference.

Breaking the Palestinians’ Will to Fight

By: Daniel Pipes; townhall.com

Daniel Polisar of Shalem College in Jerusalem shook the debate over Palestinian-Israeli relations in November 2015 with his essay, “What Do Palestinians Want?” In it, having studied 330 polls to “understand the perspective of everyday Palestinians” toward Israel, Israelis, Jews, and the utility of violence against them, he found that Palestinian attackers are “venerated” by their society—with all that that implies.

He’s done it again with “Do Palestinians Want a Two-State Solution?” This time, he pored over some 400 opinion polls of Palestinian views to find consistency among seemingly contradictory evidence on the topic of ways to resolve the conflict with Israel. From this confusing bulk, Polisar convincingly establishes that Palestinians collectively hold three related views of Israel: it has no historical or moral claim to exist, it is inherently rapacious and expansionist, and it is doomed to extinction. In combination, these attitudes explain and justify the widespread Palestinian demand for a state from “the river to the sea,” the grand Palestine of their maps that erases Israel.

With this analysis, Polisar has elegantly dissected the phenomenon that I call Palestinian rejectionism. That’s the policy first implemented by the monstrous mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini, in 1921 and consistently followed over the next near-century. Rejectionism demands that Palestinians (and beyond them, Arabs and Muslims) repudiate every aspect of Zionism: deny Jewish ties to the land of Israel, fight Jewish ownership of that land, refuse to recognize Jewish political power, refuse to trade with Zionists, murder Zionists where possible, and ally with any foreign power, including Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, to eradicate Zionism.

The continuities are striking. All major Palestinian leaders–Amin al-Husseini, Ahmad al-Shukeiri, Yasir Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas, and Yahya Sinwar (the new leader of Hamas in Gaza)—have made eliminating the Zionist presence their only goal. Yes, for tactical reasons, they occasionally compromised (most notably, in the Oslo Accords of 1993), but then they reversed these exceptions as soon as possible.

In other words, the Israeli-Palestinian “peace process” that began in 1989 has been a massive charade. As Israelis earnestly debated making “painful concessions,” their Palestinian counterparts issued promises they had had no intention of fulfilling, something Arafat had the gall publicly to signal to his constituency even as he signed the Oslo Accords, and many times subsequently.

So long as rejectionism runs rampant, debates about one-, two-, and three-state solutions, about carving up the Temple Mount into dual sovereign areas, or about electricity grids and water supplies, are for naught. There can be no resolution so long as most Palestinians dream of obliterating the Jewish state. Indeed, this makes negotiations counterproductive. The Oslo Accords and other signed pieces of paper have made matters much worse. The farce of negotiations, therefore, needs urgently to end.

If no more negotiations, then what? Polisar rightly recommends tackling the problem head-on with “policies that seek to reduce decisively popular Palestinian support for a maximalist state.” This shift accords with what I call an Israeli strategy for victory: breaking the Palestinians’ will to fight by convincing them that Jews have historic ties to the land, that Israel has a determined citizenry, a powerful economy and military, and mighty allies, even as it respects its neighbors and will be around into the distant future. Therefore, the dream of a grand Palestine is the purest fantasy.

In other words: Palestinians, the game is up. Accept the Jewish state, bargain with it, and benefit from its dynamism.

Here, happily, things are not entirely bleak. My research finds, and Polisar’s confirms, that about 20 percent of Palestinians are ready to live peaceably with the Jewish state. The challenge is to increase this number to 60 percent and more, so that this group at last can wrest control of the Palestinian national movement from rejectionists.

This process will be neither easy nor pleasant, for there is no avoiding the bitter crucible of defeat. The Palestinian Authority and Hamas will violently repress readiness to accommodate Israel, making the transition all the more painful. They will not, however, manage to reverse their populations’ demoralization and restiveness, or stop the movement favoring an end to hostilities. As the reality of defeat sinks in, new voices will inexorably be heard and will strengthen, calling for an end to the century-long catastrophe of rejectionism.

When Palestinians emerge from this ordeal, they will greatly benefit from throwing off the burden of anti-Zionism. Finally, they can begin to build their own polity, economy, society, and culture. Finally, they can learn from their remarkable neighbor. All will gain when this proud people turns its attention to creating the institutions of civil society and to teaching children skills rather than hatred.

International, and especially American, support will much enhance the Israeli strategy for victory and the transition to a better future for Palestinians. May the Trump administration end the failed cycle of negotiations and instead help its “cherished ally” win its war.

Israel Plans Mass Evacuation if War Erupts Again

By: Ian Deitch; bigstory.ap.org

File – In this Tuesday, March 1, 2016 file photo, American servicemen and Israeli soldiers participate in a joint drill simulating a rocket attack at a base in Hatzor, central Israel. Israel is making contingency plans to evacuate up to a quarter million people from communities along the Gaza and Lebanese borders to get them away from missile attacks if war erupts again with Hamas or Hezbollah. The mass evacuations would be the biggest in Israel’s history, part of a bigger plan where the army works with municipalities to keep civilians safe. (AP Photo/Sebastian Scheiner, File)

JERUSALEM (AP) — If Islamic militants in Gaza or Lebanon go to war with Israel, they could find their usual targets empty.

Israel is drawing up contingency plans to evacuate up to a quarter-million civilians from border communities to protect them from attacks from Hamas, Hezbollah or other Islamic militant groups.

The mass evacuations would be the biggest in Israel’s history, part of a bigger plan where the army works with municipalities to keep civilians safe.

All sides have been preparing in case a new round of warfare breaks out, although Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed group sworn to Israel’s destruction, currently is tied down in Syria’s civil war fighting in support of President Bashar Assad. It also comes amid an uptick in tensions between Israel, Syria and Hezbollah.

Each side has warned that a new conflict would be worse than previous ones. Hezbollah fired more than 4,000 rockets on Israeli communities in the 2006 war, while Israel bombarded militant targets in southern Lebanon. The month of fighting killed an estimated 1,200 Lebanese, most of them civilians, as well as 44 Israeli civilians and 121 Israeli soldiers.

In 2014, 50 days of fighting between Israel and Gaza’s Islamic militant Hamas rulers killed an estimated 2,100 Palestinians, six Israeli civilians and 66 Israeli soldiers. There was widespread devastation in Gaza and thousands of rockets and mortars fired by Hamas and other Islamic militants at Israeli towns and cities.

Israel says Hezbollah and Hamas have rebuilt larger arsenals capable of hitting the entire country. Elements of the evacuation plan, codenamed “Safe Distance,” were disclosed by a senior Israeli officer in an interview to The Associated Press.

“In 2017, all of Israel is under threat,” said Col. Itzik Bar of the military’s Homefront Command. Preparations are underway for Israel to deal with “very high amounts” of incoming fire, he said.

Bar pointed out that Hezbollah has gained battle experience from fighting alongside Assad’s forces and that Hassan Nasrallah, the Shiite group’s chief, has recently increased his rhetoric about attacking Israel.

The idea is to “remove the threat by not having civilians there,” Bar said. “We want a meeting of army and Hezbollah forces and not civilians with Hezbollah forces.”

The evacuation plan would apply mainly to communities adjacent to the borders, he said.

“In places where we understand there is a great danger to civilians, for example, where we won’t be able to supply defenses or supply deterrence … we will evacuate,” Bar said.

Evacuees would be housed in existing infrastructure, including hotels, schools and Kibbutz guest houses, he said.

The scope of evacuations would depend on the situation, but all told, the plans cover up to 250,000 people who would be moved to safety if there is a conflict on multiple fronts, he said. Israel has a population of about 8.5 million.

Small core groups would stay behind in evacuated areas to maintain vital infrastructure and ensure that communities “function the day after the fighting,” he said.

Another senior security official, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with protocol, said the idea resulted from lessons learned in the 2014 Gaza war, in which communities were not evacuated but residents eventually left on their own.

Tens of thousands of Israelis left their homes near the Gaza border as the fighting dragged on, turning some areas into ghost towns. The exodus was sparked by Palestinian shelling along with the fear of heavily armed Gaza militants infiltrating Israel through tunnels.

Border communities vulnerable to mortars are the most in danger, he said.

Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense system was seen as a game-changer in the 2014 war, ensuring a decisive protective edge from short-range rockets fired from Gaza. But the security official said there were not enough of the defensive systems to cover attacks on multiple fronts.

He said Hezbollah has significantly built up its weapons stockpile since the 2006 war and has upgraded its arsenal to about 150,000 missiles.

Israel has made it clear it will act to prevent Hezbollah getting advanced munitions and is widely believed to have carried out several airstrikes in recent years on weapons convoys destined for the militant group. On Friday, it made a rare admission of such a strike after Syria fired missiles at its jets.

However, the official said Israel fears that some advanced weapons like surface-to-sea weapons or anti-aircraft missiles might already have reached Hezbollah.

Israel’s military chief, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, told an academic conference Tuesday that Hezbollah’s top military commander was killed in Syria in May 2016 by rivals within the group. The announcement was the latest sign of an escalating feud between Israel and Hezbollah.

He said the death of Mustafa Badreddine illustrated “the depth of the internal crisis within Hezbollah.” He also said it reflected “the extent of the cruelty, complexity and tension between Hezbollah and its patron Iran.”

An Israeli military official said Israel believes the order to kill Badreddine was given by Hezbollah’s leader Nasrallah.

Israeli intelligence believes Badreddine had been feuding with Iranian military commanders in Syria over the heavy losses his group had suffered on the battlefield.

Israel, meanwhile, has been building up its missile defenses. A system called “David’s Sling” to intercept medium-range missiles from Hezbollah is due to become operational in early April. That would mark the completion of a multilayer missile defense system that includes Iron Dome and Arrow, designed to intercept long-range ballistic missiles — of the type possessed by Iran — high in the stratosphere.

The military also has vastly improved its early warning systems, according to Bar, the Israeli colonel.

Technology has come a long way since 1991 when air raid sirens sent Israelis nationwide scurrying to bomb shelters when Iraq fired Scud missiles at Tel Aviv. In the 2014 Gaza war, sirens warned of incoming rocket attacks on wide areas.

Bar said the system has been narrowed down and improved “dramatically” with more than 3,000 different warning zones. Now only civilians in the line of fire will need to take shelter, while others in the same city won’t, he said.

An annual intelligence assessment found Hezbollah or Hamas probably are not interested in sparking a war in 2017, but it warned of the danger of a dynamic of escalation leading to conflict. In February, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Hezbollah was not seeking a resumption of hostilities. But he vowed that if war did begin, his forces would strike Israel’s Dimona nuclear facilities,

Israeli officials have in turn escalated the rhetoric with Lebanon, citing concern about recent comments made by Lebanese President Michel Aoun, a strong Hezbollah ally who was elected head of state in October.

In an interview last month with an Egyptian TV network, Aoun said Hezbollah “has a complementary role” to the Lebanese army. As long as the Lebanese army is not strong enough to battle Israel … we feel the need for its existence,” he said. The army’s newly appointed commander also has vowed to boost its capabilities.

Several Hamas officials say the group does not seek a confrontation with Israel now, but that it has developed its arsenal and restored its capabilities to even greater amount than before the 2014 war. They did not specify numbers.

Reports in Gaza suggest Hamas completed repairs to dozens of attack tunnels used to infiltrate Israel that were damaged in 2014.

Sickening Anti-Israel Hatred: Reactions to Cold-Blooded Murder

By: Michael Brown; christianpost.com

Michael Brown holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as a professor at a number of seminaries. He is the author of 25 books and hosts the nationally syndicated, daily talk radio show, the Line of Fire.

When is a cold-blooded murderer hailed as an international hero? When he’s a radical Islamic terrorist who slaughters Jews. They deserve to die!

It is gut-wrenching to watch the video footage of a truck ramming into a crowd of Israelis in East Jerusalem, killing four of them and injuring at least 15 more.

Three of the victims were soldiers, all female, aged 20, 20, and 22. The fourth victim was an Israeli man, also just 20-years-old.

All of them had dreams of a bright future, a future none of them will live to see.

Israel is again in mourning.

But there is celebration in the Jew-hating, Israel-despising world. It doesn’t get any better than slaughtering Israelis — especially Israeli soldiers — in cold blood.

As for the truck driver, a religious Palestinian Muslim who was shot dead by police, his sister said “the family was ‘thankful’ for the attack and called her brother’s death ‘the most beautiful martyrdom.'”

Other Palestinian Muslims reacted similarly, as reported by Michael Qazini on the Daily Wire, noting that, “These weren’t spontaneous celebrations by a few bad actors. Praise for the terrorist came from the top of the Palestinian leadership chain, placing a rubber stamp on a Jew-hating culture of death.” (See the article for details.)

Accordingly, Hamas, representing the most extreme side of Palestinian leadership, lauded the truck attack as “heroic.” (Yes, it takes a real hero to back up a truck and run over your victims while being shot at. What courage.)

Similarly, Al Quds [Jerusalem] News posted a report, “Live from where the heroic incident took place in Occupied Jerusalem.” (See the link for more examples of Palestinian celebration, including passing out sweets in the streets.)

But this shouldn’t surprise us at all, since this is same leadership that names children’s schools after Palestinian terrorists who died in the course of their murderous acts, hailing them as martyrs. (Last October, the Palestinian Authority “dedicated a new school to the mastermind of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre . . . .”)

And this is the same leadership that pays salaries to imprisoned Palestinian terrorists at a rate up to four-times the average Palestinian salary.

And this is the same leadership that sponsors summer camps for children where they learn the requisite skills for slaughtering Jews, also naming the camps after famous terrorists.

Over on the Iranian-run Press TV Facebook page, the hatred flowed freely, with a good number of commenters justifying the slaughter because these Israelis were in East Jerusalem, which they consider to be an illegal occupation. (Wait a minute. Didn’t the Obama administration just affirm that in the UN Security Resolution it allegedly helped craft?)

Comments on the Press TV page included:

1. Sow the wind, reap the storm. Occupiers have no rights, only the obligation to go back to where they came from. The Israeli regime is responsible for the deaths of its citizens in this instance. There will never be peace on stolen land.

2. Palestinians have every right to self-defense. If they find IOF on their roads they must repeat this and should be encouraged.

3. I wish and pray there will be repetition of this incident at much much bigger scale which will wipe out brutal israel from world map, InshaAllah [God willing].

4. Good job … because its Israel problem killing innocent Palestinians every day no one criticise why …

5. Tonight I’m very happy after watching video, and I especially order for mutton biryani.

6. Hahaha look at the IDF soldiers. Muppets. I don’t support terrorism but at least this one did not kill any innocent woman or child and went straight for their killers!

7. Killing an oppressor is not being an extremist. These were occupation soldiers and were in the process of going to commit atrocities in Palestine. When the French resisted German occupation it was not called terrorism.

8. It is so good to hear this News.

9. Good work ever done by a true Muslim.

10. BWAHAHAHA!

11. Kill them all.

12. Deserved.

13. The Zionists been ramming tents and makeshift shelters of innocent Palestinians for the past 70 years no problem, now that some Zionist soldiers rammed by Palestinian is good thing to happen.

14. One sure remedy — ”Get out of Palestine” — back to your Ghettos.

I have no doubt that there are Palestinians who have been mistreated by Israeli soldiers and for that reason, harbor intense hatred against the people of Israel. As a friend of Israel, I say: Let the injustices be exposed and rectified. And certainly, many Palestinians are shocked and grieved over the death of these young people.

I also recognize that there are right-wing extremists in Israel who have engaged in terrorist acts against Palestinians (like the infamous Baruch Goldstein), and I know that some of these extremists consider Palestinians (and even all non-Jews) to be less human, even saying that the only good Arab is a dead Arab.

But this represents the extreme fringe of the extreme fringe, and if an Israeli rammed a truck into a crowd of young Palestinians, there would be national outrage in Israel (and the worldwide Jewish community), the government would immediately and unconditionally condemn the killer and look to arrest any accomplices, and there would be a sense of shame rather than glee through the country.

But when Jewish blood is shed by a radical Islamic terrorist — in particular Israeli blood, especially the blood of an Israeli soldier — then celebration erupts among Jew-haters worldwide.

Time to pass out the candy and rejoice.

This is beyond sick.

Is the Islamic State’s Plan to Conquer Rome So Far Fetched?

By: William Reed; The Clarion Project – clarionproject.org

Historically, violent and civilizational jihad has changed the demographic character and culture of entire nations in much of the world.

The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) made a call to its cells in Europe through an encrypted text message in English, French, and Arabic on the social media over the weekend (Sept. 3-4).

The Turkish news outlet NTV reported that via the ISIS-affiliated “Nasir Foundation,” the terror group sent a message to its members and sympathizers in Europe who are preparing for attacks, telling them to “either act immediately or annihilate all organizational information they possess.”

“Our brothers and sisters in Europe and especially in France, hurry up to carry out your acts. Also, be careful and cautious,” ordered the terror group.

“We hear that a lot of our brothers get arrested before carrying out their acts. We suggest you to delete all of the information and messages in your devices relating the Islamic State including photos, videos and applications. We also suggest you to carry out your acts before it is too late.”

ISIS allegedly made the warning after Syrian-born Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, the official spokesperson and a senior leader of the Islamic State, was killed in Aleppo. The U.S. and Russia both announced in separate statements that they killed al-Adnani in their airstrikes.

Since al-Adnani’s death, there have been calls for revenge attacks to be carried out by jihadist operatives, the Daily Mail reported.

“According to the respected Site Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadist activity, the threats were made on a pro-ISIS account on the encrypted Telegram messaging service, with one warning: ‘We will exterminate you.’”

In 2014, al-Adnani declared that supporters of the Islamic State from all over the world should attack citizens of Western states, including the US, France and UK.

“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way, however it may be,” he said.

“Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him.”

IS declares it will conquer Istanbul, Rome

In its recently-released new English magazine Rumiyah (Rome), ISIS declared it will conquer Istanbul and Rome.

The magazine, which is the terror group’s second international publication after Dabiq, is published in several languages including English, Turkish, Russian and French.

As to why they chose the name Rumiyah, ISIS explained: “Rasulallah [prophet of Allah – Muhammed, the founder of Islam] heralded the Islamic conquest of Rome in end times. We ask our God to enable us to conquer this district and Konstantiniyye [Istanbul] which will be conquered before Rome.”

The Islamic State made Abu Muhammad al-Adnani the cover boy of the first edition of their new magazine, with calls for revenge of his death. The terror group called on their supporters to “sacrifice themselves,” a statement interpreted as a call to carry out terror attacks against European countries and other members of the anti-ISIS collation forces.

The Islamic State and Rome

“The conquest of Rome has been a primary goal since the beginning of the Islamic State,” writes journalist Dale Hurd of CBN News. “Muslim scholars say Muhammed prophesied that the two great Roman cities would be conquered: Constantinople and Rome.

“The Islamic State reveals part of its plan in its publication ‘Black Flags From Rome’,” added Hurd. “It will use sleeper cells and expects to get help from Muslims serving in European armies and from non-Muslim sympathizers. It also wants to fire missiles into Italy.”

Islamic Expansionist Campaigns in History

Muslim jihadist armies have targeted European territories since the inception of the religion in the 8th century.

The Islamic invasion of Hispania, for example, was the initial expansion of the Umayyad Caliphate over Hispania from 711 to 788. The invasion resulted in the establishment of the Emirate of Cordoba under the Muslim ruler Abd ar-Rahman I, who completed the unification of Muslim-ruled Iberia, or al-Andalus (Muslim Spain), between 756 and 788.

Europe was also a popular target of Ottoman jihadist armies.  Ottomans conquered Constantinople in 1453 in a bloody military campaign, which marked the end of the Byzantine Empire.

Throughout centuries, Ottomans also occupied many other European nations such as Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary and Cyprus. They targeted and attacked other European lands, including Austria, Venice, and Poland.

Much of the present-day “Muslim world” was invaded and captured by Muslim imperial armies. Anatolia – today’s Turkey – was mostly Christian before the Turkish conquests of the 11th century. It also had sizable Jewish and Yazidi communities.  Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity were the major religions in Afghanistan during pre-Islamic era.

Today’s Iraq and Islamic Republic of Iran were a majority-Zoroastrian empire. In the Arabian Peninsula, there were Pagans, Jews, Zoroastrians and Christians before Islam took over.

Similarly, before the advent of Islam, the region which is today termed Pakistan was quite a diverse region with several religions — mainly Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism and Zoroastrianism as well as local shamanistic and animist religions.

In Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population today, the primary religions were Hinduism and Buddhism, as were Bangladesh and Malaysia.

Violent or civilizational jihadi efforts have tremendously changed the demographic character and culture of entire nations in much of the world. The once-majority non-Muslim communities in those lands are either extinct or dwindling minorities today.

This is not to say that Christian armies have never used force to spread their religious beliefs. The conquest of Eastern Europe by the Teutonic Knights or the conquest of South and Central America by the conquistadors saw Christianity carried forward at the point of a sword.

The important factor is that while contemporary Christian movements look back on those periods of history as squarely in the past, Islamist movements see this history as inspiration for their dreams of the future.

The Islamic military conquest of Europe might sound unrealistic now, but the Islamic State and many other Islamist groups openly declare that they are still dedicated to their goal of world domination.

They are trying to actualize their goals not only through violent jihad, but also through population jihad (influx of Muslims) and by demanding Islamist privileges, such as parallel sharia courts.

Despite its centuries-long resistance to jihad-waging armies, much of Europe appears blind to history today. With its politically correct governments and misguided, “multi-cultural” ideologies, the European Union seems alarmingly clueless and desperate in the face of once-again rising Islamist threat.

Candidly Speaking: Exposing the criminal society and the culture of death

Pressure must be exerted to encourage rank-and-file Palestinians that their best interests will be served when they appoint leaders who genuinely support the peace process.

We are losing the battle in the war of ideas for the simple reason that we are continuously on the defensive while those seeking our destruction actively and relentlessly demonize us.

Ever since the Oslo Accords, successive Israeli governments have felt obliged to understate and even dismiss Palestinian terrorism and hatred in order to maintain domestic public support for policies that, with the benefit of hindsight, were doomed to fail.

In the very early stages, Palestinian Authority president Yasser Arafat told his people that the ultimate goal was the end of Jewish sovereignty – and we dismissed such outbursts as empty words designed merely to placate his radical domestic opponents.

But as the government falsely praised our peace partner, many Israelis deluded themselves into believing that the terrorism we faced was an extremist aberration and that the Palestinians were committed to ending the conflict on the basis of a two-state solution. Likewise, most of the world accepted at face value our repeated praise of Arafat and his successor, Mahmoud Abbas, as moderates and genuine peace partners.

This suited the long-term Palestinian policy of destroying us in stages. They readily accepted concessions and withdrawals but without compromising one iota, and they continue to demonize us and challenge our legitimacy.

But the worst aspect was our failure to highlight the poisonous brainwashing the PA had inflicted on its population. While Arab hostility to Jews prevailed even during the British Mandate period, it was not comparable to the culture of death and evil that today saturates every aspect of Palestinian life.

The Palestinians have stated explicitly that their state would be Judenrein and that Jews would never be permitted to live in their ancestral home even if they were willing to accept Palestinian jurisdiction.

Indeed, Palestinians were brutally executed when they were deemed to have sold land to a Jew.

The PA has become a criminal society and can be compared to prewar Germany, when the Nazis transformed their population into genocidal barbarians by depicting Jews as subhuman. The Palestinians depict Jews as “the offspring of apes and pigs” and call for their extermination. This is not even done subtly but with blatant statements to this effect emanating daily from religious and political leaders and accessible from vast documentary sources compiled by Palestinian Media Watch, MEMRI and others.

A society in which children from kindergarten are brainwashed into believing that the highest goal in Islam is to achieve martyrdom in the course of killing Jews can only be described as criminal.

The demonization of Israel and manifestations of the culture of death are promoted without inhibition by the leadership, the mullahs in the mosques and the state-controlled media. They amount to direct incitement for individuals to strike out and kill Jews in concert or randomly. The “heroic” scenes of youngsters stabbing Jews, the praise by Abbas himself of martyrs “with holy blood” and the totally contrived religious frenzy over accusations of Israelis planning to destroy al-Aksa mosque, coalesce into a witch’s brew of primeval rage and hatred.

The PA provides generous state salaries to terrorists apprehended by Israelis, and if they are killed, their families are remunerated – from funds provided by Western countries. Religious and political leadership at all levels sanctifies terrorists as heroes and national martyrs. City squares, schools and even football clubs are named in their honor.

The barbarism imbibed by the Palestinians is reflected in the street celebrations that erupt spontaneously with every murder of an Israeli. Even more nauseating are the repeated displays on TV of mothers expressing pride at their children becoming martyrs, and expressing hope that their other children will follow the example.

Under these circumstances, it is no wonder that Palestinian opinion polls reflect public support for terrorist attacks against Israel and opposition to a two-state solution. The Arafat/Abbas indoctrination process has radicalized successive generations into believing that the only solution to the conflict is the permanent termination of Jewish sovereignty in the area.

There is irrefutable evidence of the barbaric and genocidal nature of Palestinian society. Indeed, the reality is that, despite maintaining a “moderate” stance to the outside world, internally the Palestinians and ISIS are birds of a feather – although the Palestinians are probably more corrupt.

Alongside the turbulence in the region and the threat from Iran and ISIS, could one envisage any country agreeing to accept statehood for what will inevitably be a neighboring criminal state pledged to its destruction or a candidate for an ISIS or Iranian takeover? This would be utterly inconceivable.

Yet most of the international community, including the United States, regards this as an issue of two nations arguing over real estate. Were that the case, the Palestinians would not have dismissed the offers by prime ministers Ehud Barak and Ehud Olmert, who were willing to concede up to 97 percent of the territories formerly controlled by the Jordanians.

Israel has been the target of repeated defamation and delegitimization yet has basically only been on the defensive, seeking to refute the lies being disseminated against it. But as Joseph Goebbels said, if one repeats a lie continuously, people begin believing it. This dictum has now been realized; many in the Western world have absorbed the distorted Palestinian narrative of Israel being an apartheid state, an occupier and a nation born in sin.

Ironically, the weakness of our position lies in the fact that, until recently, in order to appease our allies and “protect” Israelis from being confronted with the stark reality, we deliberately held back from telling the truth and failed to highlight the barbaric and criminal nature of our purported peace partner.

Had we mounted campaigns at the outset, exposing the horrors perpetrated by our neighbors, it may not have influenced anti-Semites and the delusional Left but it would have made a significant impact on the open-minded.

But even now, belatedly exposing the barbarity of our neighbors should be made the top priority in our foreign relations efforts rather than the endless disputes over whether the minuscule 2% of territory comprising settlements (which are not being expanded) is justified.

The recent initiative by Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman to establish relations with independent Palestinians, aside from not having cabinet approval, is bound to fail because any Palestinian engaged in such negotiations will immediately be assassinated.

Pressure must be exerted to encourage rank-and-file Palestinians that their best interests will be served when they appoint leaders who genuinely support the peace process. Alas, for the time being, that is not even on the horizon.

Today, we must move forward and promote a focused effort to document and expose the evil nature of Palestinian society, which will make it far more difficult and embarrassing for the Americans and Europeans to continue pressuring Israel to accept the creation of what will invariably be a criminal state – particularly in the context of the mayhem prevailing in the region and the terrorist threats now impacting the heartland of Europe.

French ‘burkini’ party is canceled — called ‘gender prison’

Officials in the south of France forced a Muslim women’s organization to cancel a pool party after protests over Islamic clothing rules.

Michel Amiel, the center-left mayor of the Provencal town of Les Pennes-Mirabeau, persuaded the swimming park to annul the reservation for the private event, which he described as a “provocation”.

The controversy broke out after the group Smile 13, which describes itself as a “social, cultural, sporting and professional” association for women and children, privately booked the SpeedWater Park at the town of Pennes-Mirabeau, near Marseille, for September.

Its poster advertising the event stated it would be open only to women and children, including boys under 10, and requested that attendees wear clothing that covered “from the chest to the knees”.

It added that “exceptional” authorization had been obtained for women to wear burkinis and pool jilbab — swimsuits and poolside garments that cover most of the body — both of which are normally banned in public baths in France.

“We are counting on you to respect the AWRA (Islamic rule requiring parts of the human body to be covered) and not come in a two-piece (chest to knees must be covered). The minimum is a one-piece swimming costume with pareo or shorts,” the poster read.

On Smile 13’s Facebook page, which has since been taken down, the organization explained the clothing request was necessary because the pool has “mixed” staff.

The wearing of veils and anything covering the face is banned in public places in France under a 2010 law that was upheld by the European Court of Human Rights. All visible religious signs are banned from schools and colleges and among public-sector staff, and there are strict rules on swimwear in public pools. Because this was a private event, the group was within its rights to demand a dress code, but local politicians saw it as contrary to France’s institutional secularism.

“This is communitarianism, pure and simple,” Amiel, a center-left senator from the Democratic and Social European Group, told Le Parisien newspaper last week, adding that he was “shocked and angry” when he learned of the dress code and was planning to have the event banned as a “threat to public order”.

Before the cancellation, Valérie Boyer, the local member of Parliament for Les Republicains, the center-right opposition party, feared the event would be divisive.

“It is not an anodyne issue. The battle of the ‘veil’ is a visible sign of fundamentalists wanting to mark their territory and subjugate women,” Boyer said in a statement.

“Burka, chador, abaya, niqab, hijab … it doesn’t matter what you call them, they are a gender prison, a negation of the individual, an obstacle to equality, an obstacle to fraternity.”

France’s far-right Front National said in a statement that the event was further evidence of the “infiltration of Islamism into civil society,” which it claimed was “aimed at spreading an ideology that is fundamentally against the values of the republic.”

In the end, town hall officials persuaded the SpeedWater Park to cancel Smile 13’s reservation.

“Neither SpeedWater Park, nor the town of Pennes-Mirabeau wish to be the theater for public order troubles caused by factors outside of their role and influence,” said the park and the town hall in a joint statement.

The association said it had received bullets in the mail following the controversy, and that it had complained to the French Collective against Islamophobia.

On Saturday, when its Facebook page was still up, Smile 13 published a statement saying it regretted that there had been such a backlash and that it had provoked death threats to its organizers.

“We are sad and concerned by the massive wave of racist hate, crude insults and threats we have been subjected to not just as an association but also as individuals,” it read.

It added it was “stunned and saddened” by the level of controversy the planned event had provoked.

In March, France’s women’s rights minister Laurence Rossignol sparked a public war of words when she criticized fashion labels including H&M, Uniqlo and Dolce & Gabbana for including “Islamic” clothing in their latest collections.

She described the fashion as “irresponsible” and accused the labels of “promoting the imprisoning of the female body.” Talking to RMC radio, she compared Muslim women who bought clothing linked to their religion to “American blacks who were in favor of slavery.”

On Friday, June 24, during the Muslim prayer time at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, Muslims stole the beautiful and ornate silver Mezuzah that was attached to the entrance to the building.

In addition, they broke into the storeroom and stole saplings worth thousands of shekels.

As it was part of the Ramadan holiday, Israeli police were not stationed on site, and “protection” of the site was under control of the Waqf.

In 1929, following the massacre of the Jewish community of Hebron by their Arab neighbors, and similarly after 1948 in the Old City of Jerusalem, Arab Muslims ripped out the Mezuzahs from the doorposts of the Jewish-owned homes, but in many cases, you can still see where the Mezuzahs used to be located.

The Jewish community of Hebron is demanding that the exclusive Muslim days at the tomb be cancelled until the Mezuzah is returned.

Women in Palestinian Culture–How to Hit Your Wife

PalWatch.org

PA Mufti of Gaza explains how to hit your wife: “Not hitting that will bring the police, and break her hand and cause bleeding”

Mufti of Gaza Hassan Al-Laham: “Allah created a solution for this (i.e., marital strife). How? Allah said: Warn them [the wives], and separate from them, and hit them, and bring an arbitrator from his family and an arbitrator from her family. [Only] after this comes divorce. The husband starts with a warning.”

(Female) PA TV host: “Explain to our viewers the steps a husband should take.”

Mufti: “The warning needs to be made politely by the husband to his wife, while he shows good relations, dialogue, respect, and humanity. She who stands before you is a human being. She is an independent person and deserves respect. You did not buy her as a slave, nor did you buy her in the market. She is a respectable woman from a respectable family, just as you are a respectable man from a respectable family. It may be that she is from a more socially respectable family than yours, however she became your wife, and she is under your command, and is under your care, so that you should treat her according to Allah’s command. The warning should be made using a good word, good treatment, and a positive look.”

TV host: “In order to stop the conflict from getting worse and resolve it.”

Mufti: “It is a warning. When she makes a mistake he will explain: ‘You shouldn’t do this and that.'”

TV host: “What is the stage after the warning, honored Sheik?”

Mufti: “‘[Koran:] Warn them [the wives] and separate from them.’ The separation means separation in the bedroom, in the home. Not outside. In other words, he will not show other people that there is a problem. But inside the home, at bedtime, if he separates from her and does not speak to her in the bedroom, she will ask why, and he will explain: ‘You made a mistake and I am angry about it.’ Perhaps this will lead to reconciliation…

“After the warning and separation, comes the hitting – hitting that does not make her ugly. The Prophet [Muhammad] said: ‘Do not hit the face and do not make her ugly.’ (Hadith) In other words, not hitting that will bring the police, and break her hand and cause bleeding, or hitting that makes the face ugly. No. As it is said [in a Hadith] ‘If not for this (i.e., the fear of retaliation), I would give you painful blows with a small brush.’ … The hitting is not meant to disfigure, harm, or degrade. The hitting will be like a joke. He will hit her jokingly. Not a blow that breaks a bone or makes the face ugly, and he will not curse and the like. This hitting is a kind of reminder that the love and friendship that Allah commanded is still found between us (i.e., the couple).”
