A break from the treatments
Last week, Zola had his last radiation and chemo treatments. This is an intermission for a couple of weeks to see how he’s reacting to the treatment. At the end of March, he will be evaluated to see if they should continue or not.
Zola has handled the treatments very well. He has become fatigued from them but hasn’t had any nausea. He has lost about 1/2 of the hair on his head, though. He has started to have a bit of a rebound now that he’s off the treatments.
Sandra will be in Israel with the tour for a week. Zola has had friends staying with them for some time now, helping Sandra out, and they’ll be there while Sandra is gone.
Zola will continue at his post as long as he is able, and he’s still very able. He continues to make TV shows (four last week and several this week).
Next week’s TV show is another personal episode called “Introducing Sandra.”

We must open our mouths and speak the Truth. We must seek to live in The Word. The time is near, and each day brings each of us closer to our final appointment.

Thank you, Lord, that Zola is doing so well!
Zola, our church is a “Pocket Powered Church”…we give out the Gospel of John from the Pocket Testament League. I have been saying that even if we are shy or afraid of rejection, it isn’t an excuse not to do something as simple as handing out a Gospel. I got my first “persecution” the other day. A lady yelled at me to not bother her and to go and “preach” somewhere else. I certainly had not preached, but had simply introduced myself and ask if she was a Christian. Anyway, I can certainly say now with experience…it truly does not matter if you are yelled at for sharing your faith. It feels good to “suffer,” if I can really call it that, for Jesus. If I keep going, I recon at some point I’ll find out what it is to be ‘kicked out of parties and houses,’ as you have said. I challenge all of us to take Zola’s advice to heart about witnessing. I have been a Christian for 16 years and, shamefully, have just started sharing my faith actively with strangers over the last 3 months. You can hand out testaments or whole Bibles and/or tracts…the literature is so easily accessible from so many good and affordable publishers. The Lord desires all men to be saved and even if you are not a “preacher” I believe he gives knowledge to each one of us to know what to say and do and when once we ask Him with a heart willing to sacrifice what is “ours” for what is His best. Thanks again, Zola, for all you do. My husband and I just watched your Passover DVD. We both want to celebrate Passover now and are amazed that this is not taught and practiced in all Christian churches. We miss so much in our ignorance! Thank you, our Brother and Teacher!

Astonishing that Zola has made all these new shows in the midst of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and that Sandra is going on with the Israel tour in faith. May God keep you both strong and comforted and be a present help in this time of trouble. Praying, as always.

You’re in my thoughts and prayers and I pray for God’s Hand of healing to come upon you. You’re such a blessing to so many, I would take your illness if God would permit, so you could go on with the wonderful work you do. I listen to your music and it blesses me, I’ve cried over and over since learning of this illness and ask God ‘Why?’, take me instead! I sincerely pray that Yeshua comes back to take us all Home before death comes to anyone this world needs as a witness to Him. We need you Zola, you’ve been such an inspiration and teacher for years, I feel like your niece, and have learned so much about the Jews, their customs, Hebrew and Israel because of you. I also pray for Jerusalem, everyday.

Zola, you have inspired me on so many occasions but not quite as you have now. Your trust and courage has been the most up-lifting to me and my wife. If G-d calls you home before us tell him that through you teachings and those of the prohets that many others are coming also. Dear Zola–I have received your newsletter and watched your show for a long time now. I have learned a lot from you. When I saw the show announcing your illness it brought tears to my eyes for more than one reason. Even though I’ve never met you, I feel a bond to you because of your ministry and the fact you are my brother in Christ. The news hit me like a ton of bricks and I was very sad. But then when I finished watching the show I had tears because of your strength and determination. What an encouragement you are to me and everyone! I pray that God’s will be done for you and your family. I look forward to meeting you one day be it here, there or in the air! God bless you and you are in my prayers.

Dear Zola ,just want you to know I am praying for you,Sandra,your whole family and everyone in your organization. Also, I entered you all in my churchs prayer request group for prayer and the prayer request group of a Christian charity I support.I sent a donation in to you all and just wish I could do more. Ive watched your program every Monday, for years, on the TBN affiliate WJYL from Clarksville, Ind.which we get here in Louisville ,Ky.. I look forward to watching it every Monday morning while Im getting ready to go to work. Its like having a breakfast visit with an old friend. I always learn something new and get some spiritual strength for the day .You all are a blessing on all of Gods people, Christian and Jewish alike.I also want to thank you and your guests Walid and Ibrahim for your courageous stand against terrorism in the Holy Land. Praise the LORD that things are going so well. I pray that you will have a complete recovery, but that if only it is Jehovah’s will. I will miss you terribly when you go, you are such a great teacher and I just want to thank you for opening my eyes to the Jewish traditions that without them I would not be able to understand God as well as I do. I am still praying for a Messianic Jew for our congregation here in Montana it would be so wonderful to have such a person there to answer my many many questions.
Hang in there Zola, my mother had to have emergency surgery in August (they took about 18″ of her colon) but here tests came back good and she got to quit the chemo in December rather than in February. The meds they have are better than in the past.
I feel that this is an attack by the enemy to silence you. If it is God’s will you will be healed completely.
Thank you so very much for all you have done and continually do. I love you my brother oh how I love you.

My precious Brother – There is something very special about a Jew who loves Jesus – and you are one of the best. I believe that your illness is another sign from our Prince of Peace that he is really “at the door”. One thing it has done is cause all believers to look inward and “purify ourselves even as He is pure”, because we are so close to that glorious day when “we shall be like Him, when we shall see Him as He is” 1 John 3:2. . With all our prayers, we expect you to wake up some morning and be completely whole – maybe here, maybe over there. All things are possible to our glorious Saviour. We WILL keep praying. I was only given 4 days to live when the Holy Spirit moved over my hospital bed. He gave me the words from John 11v4
This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of G-d that the son of G-d will be glorified thereby.
I was up serving tea within days, have married since and have 2 sons.
May the LORD who healed me, heal you, with the power of His Holy Spirit and in the name of His son Yeshua. You are much loved.

I just received the Levitt letter this morning and am having a hard time absorbing the news. I will pray that the Lord touches Zola and the miraculous will manifest in his health. Zola we have just received the “Levitt Letter” via mail; your personal letter is so precious…we cried w/ “bittersweet joy” as read of your confidence in the Lord. Yes, Zola it surely seems we could join you for the “rapture” any time now…what a thought!!
However, if you should go before us, may I say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! from the depths of my being for the years of teaching us of our “Jewish Roots” . Good morning Zola:
I’ve been thinking over what you said about looking forward to meeting Jesus. I agree with you, this should be every believers ultimate goal. However, I do not believe it is ever the Lord’s desire that we be evicted from our bodies prematurely by disease. When we ‘go home’ it should be because it’s time for us to go, not because we are being kicked out of this life. So, Bro, please focus on being healed. Ask, seek, and knock. Mark 11:24 – therefore I say unto you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have them.

I must admit I wasn’t consistent in viewing, but everytime I tuned in, I was captivated with your demeanor and your passion for Christ and Israel! On the Monday morning when I was watching you on TBN and you shared with us the report you received from the physicians, I dropped to my chair and sobbed pitifully! But almost instantly, a calm came over me; a voice speaking through you Zola, letting me know all is well! You are well Zola no matter what the physician’s report is! Dear Zola, family, and staff,
Greetings and blessings to you. I just wanted to pass on to you a word of encouragement. I, with many others, are praying for your divine healing. We serve a Lord who is able to heal all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). Although we know that death brings the ultimate and complete healing, we also know that Jesus still heals our bodies in this life. I have watched you off and on for many years and have found your ministry to be one of the few on television worth watching. I appreciate your soberness about the work of God and your straight-forward uncompromising delivery. Christian television needs more of the same and less of the fluff and silliness. Thanks for being faithful. Therefore I am asking the Father to extend your life as He did Hezakiah’s. For, He is the same yeaterday, today, and forever. God bless you and your family and staff Zola.
As a side note, I would encourage you to once again produce a program refuting the Replacement Theology myth which, I am sorry to say, is still so prevalent in the American church today. Jesus is coming soon. Would to God that all, gentiles and chosen people, be ready. God bless you Zola and all.

Zola,
I wanted to say “Thank You,” for everything you’ve done in ministry and how you’ve allowed the L-rd to use you in so many great ways. Throughout college studying in Broadcasting and Music, I’ve watched your program on Sunday nights. It has encouraged mea great deal in the faith. It has also transformed people in my family. After my mother died, my father decided to go on one of your tours to Israel – I know for a fact it made a tremendous impact on his life, which in turn made a huge impact on mine.
At this time, I know the L-rd is calling me to ministry. He has also placed a burden on my heart for His chosen people. After I graduate (which is soon), I need to find an outlet for this. If any of your staff knows of any opportunities, I would love some information. If it weren’t for your ministry, the relationship I have with Yeshua would not be what it is today. THank you for that. My hope and my prayer is that the L-rd will allow me the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of others — to glorify Him and further His Kingdom. Thank you again for everything.

What a shock when we heard Zola may leave us. He is doing such an important work!!! I actually felt he may be one of the two witnesses. Who knows….Well one thing is sure, whether he lives or dies, he is an inspiration. Well at least I know my heart is working because I felt it break at the news.

Dear Brother Zola,
I want you to know,what a great witness you have been to me. I have been a Christian for 27 years and have just witnessed to a Jew for the first time. GOD has put a Love in my heart for Isreal, and You My Brother. I just started recently to support your Ministry. You are a faithful witness, as far as I know, Yeshua never changed, To the JEW 1st, and to the Gentiles. I am overwhelmed by the Wisdom that GOD has given to the Natural seed of Abraham, when they recieve Yeshua. I have been a Christian for 27 years, and always wondered, why we celebrate easter, on days that are not the passover, as well as other feast days. We are practicing a Romanized version of Christinity, instead of following our Jewish Roots.
I am happy to tell you because of you, and Jews like you, that for the 1st time I will be celebrating the PASSOVER, instead of some False brand of Chritiandom. I have joined a Messianc Congregation, and would love to learn My real roots of My faith. I know the LORD said he would use A people He did not choose, to make the Jews jealous. But I would like to report, That you Real Sons and Daughters of Avraham, have moved me to Jealousy. I want to have the wisdom and knowledge of My GOD that you have.
I aslo want you to know that I an Pleading with Our Father, through My LORD YESHUA, that he will heal you. But I have a selfish Motive, I want to tour My Isreal, With My Brother ZOLA. Zola, my precious friend. We’ve never met, but I’ve known you for quite a while. I’m so glad that the great commandment is to love God with all our hearts, and the second one is to love our neighbors as ourselves because this is what I want to do. I love you, my brother. Zola…I’m a 38 year old African – American male from Pittsburgh Pa. I’ve been saved for a little over 9 years. I’ve been watching your program for a little over 10 years. Your obedience to the Word of God, and to the Holy Spirit, has been awe inspiring. It has greatly blessed me, strengthened my growth in the Lord, given me a love for the Nation of Israel, and a love for the Jews. Yet, the most important teaching I can say that I learned from your program over the years is this:
Galatians 3 (New Living Translation)
23) Until faith in Christ was shown to us as the way of becoming right with God, we were guarded by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until we could put our faith in the coming Savior. 24) Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian and teacher to lead us until Christ came. I want to believe that the rapture is so close that God will fulfill Ps. 118:17 for Zola. He has been a source of knowledge and understanding for many years, why stop now? God be with you and be blessed!

Please remember that your health was bought with a price, and the thief has tried to take it from you. Let’s rise together, as soon as that day may come, from a position of health.

I only meet you once at one of your prophecy conferences in Dallas, you are a great teacher and your knowledge commands the attention of those who hunger and thirst after rightousness.I am at a lost for words Zola,I guess I just can’t bear the thought of your presence not in this world, I’m not giving up on God’s ability to heal or his perfect will be done, I’m just sort of in a please God don’t take him stage. I’t is a wonderful feeling to know that your ministry stayed on tract and you didn’t get side tracted with the cares of this world,and the riches that have stolen the hearts of so many. Zola, my prayers are for you. I pray God to strengthen you for the days He gives you, and that every word and program be directed by the Holy Spirit to a heart somewhere, who needs to hear and receive the Gospel of Salvation. I beleive we all are going to see the Lord very soon. I pray for you in this battle with time, and it seems to me it is a battle for all of us who know the Lord, to get the ones who are lost to listen and understand that Jesus is coming back soon and if they are not ready they are lost for eternity. There is a time for all of us who know Him to work, but even more fervently in this day. We are all going to face a time of endings to eternity, and it seems to me, by which method is the question of ‘our generation’ because I believe we are the Fig Tree Generation. So this comfort is given, if you do go before, we who are alive and remain shall be caught up to be with the Lord …and you will be with Him. I believe that event will be soon for all of us. I pray that those who do not yet know the Lord will hear your call to get ready, and I pray for strength for You and Sandra and your family. Today I watched you telecast on TBN. I can relate to what you are going thru because i myself am going thru Chemo. I rejoice to here the reports which state that you are both still working and going about your normal life and doing all that you can to advance the Kingdom. G-d bless you both. It was so sweet to see you together in love and marriage this morning. I pray for mental clarity for your Doctors and nurses and all other professionals that you are working with. It is indeed wonderful to be born at this time because there is such hope in medical breakthru’s that are happening daily. Hang in there. Do your research and don’t hesitate to get a second opinion if necessary.

Just wanted to add that i have just seen the episode with Sandra and Zola(3-27-06)on TBN and just want to say that not only is Zola a first class person and witness for the Lord but so is Sandra and the whole family. The music was wonderful and you all are a blessing. I have added you all to another prayer request list and am praying for you all and all the people who have sent in their comments especially the ones who are also undergoing cancer and health problems.Thanks to the whole Levitt family, organization and thanks to whoever is in charge of this website.

Dear Sandra and Zola,
You may not remember us but we met with you in Eureaka Springs, Arkansas a couple of years ago(Passion Play and tour.) We were blessed to meet you both.
Diane and I continue to pray for your comfort Zola and for strength for you Sandra. We love you Sandra,(with our without those sun glasses) and Zola, you were so kind to teach this former altar boy so much in such a short time.
Yes we watch, listen and learn from your videos and hope some day to be with you on the tour to the real Holy Land!
Zola as a broadcaster I know how medical struggles can affect one but I must say, you are very strong on the screen. Sandra, you really came across so well tonite and I know how much you both are in love with each other and of course our Lord. Diane and I are proud to support your minstry.
For all that is said, you both touched two lives here in West Tennessee. I hope you’ll be on the road again in your camper and that we’ll see you again soon.
God has blessed you both and His blessings continue to flow through your program, your ministry by His word.

I began watching your program several years ago. Little by little the stregth of your light helped me to embrace my Jewish heritage … and the calling Yeshua commissioned me to do .. to bring the Gospel to the Jew and Gentile.
As a Jewish beliver my study of Scripture and Torah have been made richer by your ministry. I wish I could adequately express the impact you have had on my life … and personal ministry.
I praise G-d for the anointing He has placed upon you … and your obedience to accept His commission. Be assured you are a “true and faithful servant” that has helped to equip the saint in each of us, who love God, His Word, and have welcomed His beloved son, Yeshua, into our lives … to carry on with our own commission … made richer by you, your life, and your ministry.

Praise the L-rd Yeshua for all you have done to bring so many to the L-ord. You have tought so much about Isreal, on Isreal and their plight, even to date you still continue with your mission. I have learned so much from you Zola their is no way to repay except to tell you that I will follow the L-rd always and humbly be His servant.
Isaiah 53:4 Surely our diseases he did bear, and our pains he carried; whereas we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded because of our transgressions, he was crushed because of our iniquities: the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed.
Zola by the Messiah’s stripes you were healed. He already bore your sickness. By Yeshua’s stripes you WERE healed and made whole, 2000 years ago.

Teacher, My husband and I have only had the short time of a few months at your feet. We just found your show. We just recieved our second newsletter, the one with your letter of your illness. Zola Levitt and his ministry is a great blessing!! I love the television program and the work Zola has done. He has been a great ambassador for Christ and Israel. I have such a great love for the Jewish people (Israel) this love is strengthened by Zola’s program. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to your ministry.
