Highlighting: OFF ON

Myles & Katharine Weiss

Dear Friend,

Choice greetings from the City of the Almighty King! Katharine and I are winding down in Jerusalem after leading our Holy Land tour and filming television programs for Zola Levitt Presents.

Once again, the study tour was a tremendous success. Our pilgrims are the most cooperative and committed Believers. The group’s pleasant mix of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, ages, and styles of Christian expression speaks of God’s all-encompassing love. We never tire of watching pilgrims’ “aha moments” as they connect their Christian understanding to the land and people of Israel. I urge you to join us on a Holy Land pilgrimage. You would find it life changing.

Fall’s tour schedule offers the option to add Athens and a Mediterranean cruise of the islands that Paul visited to our Deluxe Israel tour and Petra extension. The dates of our travel and our recently reduced rates are:

Deluxe Tour—Israel onlyOct. 19–28 $3,988
Grand Petra—Israel/Petra:Oct. 19–31 $4,988

This ministry’s tours are designed to be a turn-key experience for you. First-time pilgrims especially appreciate the ease of travel with Zola Tours, leaving the details to us while they walk where Jesus and the Bible heroes lived and made history. Many come with us several times(!) because they enjoy the depth of Bible-centered teaching. Sandra Luttrell, our travel manager, will be happy to assist you in selecting your pilgrimage. Please email her at or call her at 214-696-9760 during office hours. You can also call 1-800-WONDERS (966-3377) anytime and visit levitt.com/tours.

Katharine and I just completed filming a new television series. With the working title Zion Forever, it takes a deep look at the historical reality of King David, the Temple Mount, and the continual Jewish presence in the land of Israel. We felt compelled to create this series due to the onslaught of historical revisionism that is gaining enormous airplay in the West. Truly, the Nations are being sifted according to their understanding and commitment to biblical truth. God is preparing to winnow the wheat and the chaff, using Israel as a sharp threshing sledge:

Isaiah 41:14–16
“Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; you shall rejoice in the Lord, and glory in the Holy One of Israel.”

Taking advantage of a fantastic opportunity while in Israel, we met with Modern Orthodox Jews who reside in the City of David, the city of their ancient king. They believe that the Bible is true and contains their God-given mandate to dwell there. The media call them “settlers,” “occupiers,” and “illegal Zionist fanatics.” I can tell you from firsthand information that these are precious heroes who desire to follow the God of Abraham to the best of their knowledge. It was a privilege to hear their stories, which we plan to incorporate in the new series. You’ll meet them there.

As we near the end of this Age, the Nations align for and against Israel. The pernicious assault on the minds of men affects even Israel itself. Ze’ev Orenstein, the Director of International Relations for the City of David, gave me a powerful clue. He sent me the text of a poem by Natan Alterman (1910–1970), an Israeli poet awarded the Israel Prize for Literature, and a founder of the Land of Israel Movement. Doubts cast on the legitimacy of Israel’s existential struggle acutely pained Alterman. Even in his day, the media inside and outside Israel portrayed the nation as the aggressor and dismissed Jewish claims to the Jewish homeland. To Alterman, these were dark omens that portended a Jewish self-doubt that could lead to Israel’s downfall.

After Alterman’s death in 1970, several unpublished works were discovered in his literary estate. The most evocative of these poems, “Then Satan Said” (translated by Ze’ev Orenstein), speaks of this decay from within and became Alterman’s heavy-hearted, somber final legacy:

“Then Satan said: ‘How do I overcome this besieged one?
He has courage and talent and implements of war and resourcefulness.’
And he said: ‘I shall not take away his strength,
And I shall not curb him with bit and bridle.
And I shall not weaken his hands as in days of yore.
Only this shall I do: I will dull his mind
And cause him to forget the justice of his cause.’
And it was as if the heavens blanched in terror as they saw him arise
To carry out his plot.”

A passionate warning of the days in which we live! I grieve over Israel’s current generation who are being groomed to accept the lie that Israel is the demon oppressing the poor Muslim population. Our mission is clear! Zola contended with seminaries that were indoctrinating pastors-to-be in Replacement Theology and gladly graduating battalions of newly-trained anti-Semites. The Palestinian Narrative that usurps Israel’s history and reduces the Jewish Messiah to a “Palestinian Messenger” (prophet) is just as insidious. So this hardworking ministry must continue to broadcast, write, and teach the Bible’s truth to counter the revised history and lies that Western media and even otherwise-Christian leaders accept without question. You have stood with us in the past with prayers and financial support. We thank you for that and beseech you to continue.

On a happier note, our spring Israel tour yielded astounding and eye-opening moments on camera as we interviewed archaeologists, pastors, and political commentators. Together, such experts form a biblically-based picture of these modern days—days of restoration for Israel and preparation for the coming (again!) of Mashiach Ben David, ha’aryeh mishevet Yehudah—Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

As we delved into King David’s history, undeniable parallels between him and King Yeshua emerged. A touching moment occurred when I interviewed a modern David: David Parsons, Media and Public Relations Director for the ICEJ (International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem). David eloquently made the case for Believers standing with Israel and told us of the ICEJ’s indispensable works among Holocaust survivors in the Land. Off-camera, he revealed how his Christian parents adopted and fostered children during his formative years, undergirding his perception of God’s heart regarding the “spirit of adoption.” His upbringing informs his current love for the Jewish people, and makes him the optimal man for his position at the ICEJ. He serves as a contemporary example of an unwavering friend of the Jewish people. May the Western Church rise to that calling as well!

The Temple Mount Sifting Project, which ZLM supports with one of our benevolence funds, performs important work recovering artifacts that corroborate the historical truth of the Bible and confirm the ancient Jewish presence in the Land. Just as one of our pilgrims in 2012 discovered a coin from the second century B.C., school children, during this spring tour’s visit, discovered two coins and a piece of an ancient mosaic tile!

Discoveries such as these help to refute the daily outrageous assaults from the Muslim world as their leaders indoctrinate children to believe that the Jews are a Johnny-come-lately, thieving presence. To students of history, this “occupier” designation is laughable, of course … but with deadly consequences. The new TV series Zion Forever (working title) will teach how God showed HaMakom (The Place) to Abraham, how King David legally purchased it 1,000 years before Jesus, and that Caliph Omar built the Dome of the Rock there simply because it was the site of the Jewish Temple!

No matter… God, of course, will have the final word! Still, we count it a privilege to teach the biblical truth from the authentic sites in Israel and to proclaim that divine truth from the housetops for viewers of Zola Levitt Presents.

This month on our weekly television program, we conclude Abraham: Father of Faith, our eight-part series that unveils the story of the Patriarch through drama at the actual locations in the Bible. Interviews with contemporary commentators make clear the Jews’ seamless connection with the Land promised to the descendants of Abraham and Isaac.

Todd & Zola focus on outreach “To the Jew First”

After we conclude the Abraham series, you will see our new set for filming Zola Levitt Presents, where Katharine and I introduce the first program in a new, short series, Israel in Prophecy.

In New Wineskins.
We’ll review early footage of Zola and captivating, dramatic reenactments in Israel. Ministry theologian Dr. Todd Baker will share his history with Zola Levitt Ministries and his involvement with ZLM’s “To the Jew First” Gospel outreach to Israel. Plus, we’ll debut excerpts from interviews recorded at a recent Pre-Trib prophecy conference that will appear in upcoming programs.
“…Jesus was not a Christian, and, in fact, if Jesus was alive today he would be following the Muslims and Islam. …Jesus will return one day and he will break the cross and he will pray behind the Muslims…”

Our ministry is preparing to film a unique television series this fall after our study tour to Greece, Israel, and Petra. Katharine and I will join the TV crew to recount the life of Joseph, son of the patriarch Jacob. Joseph, as you may know, is an Old Testament “type”—a picture—of Messiah that accurately restores Yeshua’s Jewish identity, making this pending TV series a perfect and timely foil to Muslim assertions that Jesus was a Palestinian. (see rt).

Our ministerial outreach truly needs your participation. We have twice postponed the Joseph series in order to preserve operating funds. Thanks to the judicious management of CEO Mark Levitt, we believe the time is now to produce this significant collection of Bible-teaching TV programs. Please keep this anointed endeavor in your prayers. Will you also please consider a gift of funds to help us produce this important teaching tool? As you watch its lessons unfold, you will be gratified to be a part of this cutting-edge work as we anticipate the Lord’s return!

God bless your house from Zion, and remember, please: Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim—“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!” (Psalm 122:6)

Your brother and messenger,
Myles Myles

P.S. The Joseph series will be a significant evangelistic tool. Prepare to invite friends and family to view it with you on television and at www.levitt.tv!
